Friendly service just a shame the website is rubbish! Bought product after entering reg turns out its the wrong part... Now have to wait three days until one is in stock!

Easy online ordering procedure and email follow up. However customer service at Finchley Branch is very poor indeed. Kept waiting to be served while staff dealt with computer inputing. Very very irritating indeed. and reserved items were NOT reserved, but had to be picked from stock. In future will be ordering on line with free delivery, not collected.

Having been a customer of GSF before, I have always been impressed by the service received. On this occasion I was left disappointed. I reserved the items via click and collect. On arrival at the shop with my three children, the person serving me went to collect my order. I then had to wait for around 10- 15 minutes while the components were located. During the time I was waiting, other members of staff were chatting in the back office, with the door open. The conversation could clearly be heard including details of personal life and the word f*ck used clearly and loudly three times within that conversation and easily within hearing of my children. When the person serving me returned I was informed that part of my order could not be located, despite the system showing the branch as having it available. The person serving me then managed to locate the bits at your Chadwell Heath branch and arranged for me to collect the items there. Due to an online offer that was on the website at 0830 not being available, even this was protracted. I did collect the items later that day. There were several issues that caused my experience to fall below the high level I expect. Firstly, the click and collect system allowed me to order parts that weren't available. Secondly, it took approximately 40 minutes from entering your shop to leaving with only part of my order and thirdly, it came across as highly unprofessional to use expletives in the presence of children, or adult customers for that matter. My frustration is that I could have gone to either Euro Car Parts of Halfords Trade and made my purchase. However I chose GSF because of positive previous experiences, but will certainly think again in the future.

Ordered an alternator online for store pick up. Went to store but part not in stock, contrary to their computer system, which said stock was available. Fortunately there was a competent lady working there, who crosss referenced the part number of my exchange unit, and discovered that their online parts database was also wrong. They did have a unit in stock after all. So in short, don't trust their online stock levels, don't trust their part numbers, but they do have at one useful member of staff. I assume she will be leaving soon.

Excellent service at the Greenford branch, the sales people were very knowledgeable. As a customer I'm very unhappy with the pricing. The engine oil I purchased is £9.00 more expensive than B&Q I expected the oil and anti freeze to be more expensive at B&Q not cheaper because B&Q is a DIY and building material store not motor parts. I would expect GSF to be cheaper on car parts not 70% more expensive than their rivals. I hope GSF can restructure their prices and be more competitive comparing to their compettitors.

On line booking was straight forward but on collection wrong part (cheaper version then ordered) was given out therefore an extra visit to store(around trip of 8miles) not very happy

Unfortunately some of the parts I ordered [online] were not the correct ones, even though it matched them against the reg number of my car. That said the replacements were sent to us in double quick time to make up for the error.

I reserved the longer of the two intermediate pipes and this was too long do then reserved the smaller one and this was also too long so have had to cut down the shortest pipe for my car.
