gsf great for parts but have started to get quite expensive, i now use alternative suppliers for the most parts, even with gsf discount weekend they can be expensive, and it's not just me saying this even the lads in local store said when questioned some customers had been moaning and going to euro and bmf etc. Its a shame as i have used gsf for years and have a loyalty card back from the days when they actually could be bothered to print part catolouges.i now only go their as a last resort.

No purchase was made. The offers lacked any technical information and I was suspicious that each company was quoting for the same thing. There was a big difference in price.

It will be helpful to check the availability before you set off to collect. You will be disappointed when you been told only 3 spark available although 4 ready to collect!

Not enough personnel serving, a queue had formed, luckily for myself after 10 mins an assistant asked if I'd come to 'Click and Collect' which I had done, appeared that two customers being served had searches being carried out, in view of this an extra assistant would have been useful.

I ordered spark plugs on the click and collect. The printout gave the correct type to use but I was issued with the wrong plugs, short reach with a washer to seat them when it should have been long reach without the washer, had to make a 25 mile round trip to change them. There was no problem exchanging and the man on the counter apologised for the mistake but had the car required short reach plugs and I had been issued with long reach plugs, there could have been extensive damage to the engine due to the plugs hitting the piston

Website was easy to use and live chat helpful. Sadly the battery that was supposed to fit our car actually didn't and it had to be returned the next day (should have had a lip around the top and the one supplied didn't). Shame really because the system worked well and the price was good. This was probably a one off.

I reserved a pump on click and collect, when I got to the store it wasn't in stock. The assistant was able to get one from another supplier though.

Overall good service and value however would sugest phoning and pricing parts before ordering online as the best prices are not always available on website.

Generally OK - some items pricey so need to check elsewhere first. When GSF do make a mistake (sending 4 very different items in one package where four identical items were orderd & invoiced. Also sending three different types where four identical items were orderd & invoiced) the staff are quick to blame the customer for not providing part numbers. This seems to be their 'get out of jail free' card and is clearly overused. Returns process not good - have now been waiting in two days for a collection - refund has already arrived so GSF may have decided not to collect (but haven't told me). Room for improvement in their opion of themselves. Will use again but only via PayPal and with the understanding that any mistake they make will always be my fault - even when they are clearly aware of thier mistake.

I have give only 3 stars foe the following reasons: Internet part ordering service is excellent from ordering to delivery. Thumbs up! However Luton shop customer treatment requires some serious upgrading!! There are very nice knowledgeable sales people and some bad seeds as well. Please get those bad seeds out of there!!

Okay I think that light bulbs it's self not too bad for price but anyway still it would of been bit better for car capless light bulbs for price of two for £1.14 that's would of been worth it instead of only one light for £1.14 .

I bought a wing mirror for my transit tipper. The reg brought up the correct vehicle. The problem however, came with the wrong mirror being offered for my truck. I ended up purchasing the short armed mirror instead of the long armed mirror. I ended up having to fit the wrong sized mirror on my truck as I was heading out on a job. It's done the trick but the parts searcher should have known that my vehicle needs the long armed mirror.

I ordered click and collect and frankly don't think this made any difference to speed of transaction. The branch was quite busy with interruptions from phone calls and the click and collect items had been untidily stacked such that it was unclear who's was what and this was compounded by the assistant getting my name wrong.

Ordered 8 bulbs at a good price but when they arrived in a Jiffy bag one was smashed and the others not tested them yet so don't know if ok ( packing was woeful )

The time saved by ordering online was quickly lost by the wait at the store. Gsf van parked in the disabled Bay, staff all " pre occupied ". Armed with my email and order references all I'm asked for is my name. The another wait while they go and pick the Order (the one confirmed as being ready) Plenty of improvement available!

To be honest with you!.....I am diasapoint about the product!....Way!? because the one size about nuts it's on the website and other size it's on his real seeing(so post to be 21 but it's 20!......WAY!?

Went to my local GSF store to collect, service was quick and efficient. A couple (clearly inexperienced at repairing cars) were in the queue in front of me asking for advice. They wished to buy top up oil for their ford vehicle. They had used 5w40 instead of 5w30 previously. I was particularly concerned about the advice given to them. They were correctly told that the 5w40 they had used was a bit thick but they were also told that it would ruin the engine, the whole engine might be damaged by now and the thicker oil will 'ruin the fuel injectors'. Quite how engine oil affects fuel injectors I am struggling to understand. It seemed the advisor was scaring them into buying a full oil change than the top up they asked for with totally false advice. Although the service I recieved was good I found it worrying that counter staff at GSF would dispense such false advice or lies. Either the counter staff member in question was not qualified to give that kind of advice or purposely making false claims to sell something to the unfortunate customer. Either of which i find is not acceptable customer service. I felt you should be aware.

Wrong part sent contacted GSF who stated correct part cannot be sourced. Should be a pretty regular Audi part. Item returned for refund
