“Website as a whole is easy to use but the simple things like updating opening hours lets GSF down badly. I have turned up on previously occasions after checking and paying for click and collect and they have been closed. This was my final attempt and thankfully they where open. Good prices and stock holding let down by the simple things”

“As websites go it does have a few problems severe lack of choice for some common to many bag models High prices on some Intrusive app & cookies Terrible service in some stores with very arrogant staff who refused to believe me that the items don't fit my car especially in Reading branch then parts kit were incomplete when I double checked the boxes Very close to making a formal complaint but apparently the Richard Cranium was the assistant manager! I've been working on modifying & designing parts for VW for over 40 years so I do know what I'm on about 😁 even working with Geoff Thomas the owner of Autocavan Badshot Lea branch in a totally different league excellent service polite staff & they don't get upset when I check the item is the correct one GSF needs to sort out their staff in some branches”

“Collection was prompt but the sales chap dropped the battery when the handle came off. He then put the handle on incorrectly and gave it to me. I am sure it is fine (now I have fixed the handle - but want it on record in case it fails later.”

“GSF have low prices and fast delivery. However, the windscreen wipers I ordered only make contact with the screen at the top & bottom of the blade, not in the centre. Very poor quality.”

“I checked price of battery on line then went to Dover branch to be told this is a online price only and that I need to order online before picking the battery up at branch. This meant another trip back to branch. This isn't very clear on the GSF website.”

“Cheap parts but customer service was lacking. I was stood at the counter whilst 4 members of staff walked by without even any acknowledgement that I was there. Whilst I was stood there waiting a member of office staff was on the phone using very colourful language. The branch also needs to be careful what items on the office wall can be read from reception.”

“You only get a 3 star rating because you don't have simple things like a Sump Plug or Sum Washers in any stores within about 70 miles (the nearest one I found was Watford. So I purchased most of my service items from another supplier.”

“I purchased a part and was charged shipping to Northern Ireland. I challenged the charge as delivery for items over £25 was free. I was informed they could cancel the order or pay the charge. What the shop failed to inform me was the item was available for click & collect locally in Belfast less than 14 miles from me! I discovered this late when trying to order another part.”

“Would have been good if the parts were ready for collection when I did click and collect. Guy that served me was friendly but told me if I needed to return then I'd have to do it via the website as I ordered that way. The website says that I just need to take the return back to the shop?”
