I checked price of battery on line then went to Dover branch to be told this is a online price only and that I need to order online before picking the battery up at branch. This meant another trip back to branch. This isn't very clear on the GSF website.

Your online app was impossible to use in my experience but your counter staff at your maidstone store where spot on .

Cheap parts but customer service was lacking. I was stood at the counter whilst 4 members of staff walked by without even any acknowledgement that I was there. Whilst I was stood there waiting a member of office staff was on the phone using very colourful language. The branch also needs to be careful what items on the office wall can be read from reception.

You only get a 3 star rating because you don't have simple things like a Sump Plug or Sum Washers in any stores within about 70 miles (the nearest one I found was Watford. So I purchased most of my service items from another supplier.

I purchased a part and was charged shipping to Northern Ireland. I challenged the charge as delivery for items over £25 was free. I was informed they could cancel the order or pay the charge. What the shop failed to inform me was the item was available for click & collect locally in Belfast less than 14 miles from me! I discovered this late when trying to order another part.

Would have been good if the parts were ready for collection when I did click and collect. Guy that served me was friendly but told me if I needed to return then I'd have to do it via the website as I ordered that way. The website says that I just need to take the return back to the shop?

I was given the wrong parts due to the box of brake disks were put on wrong shelf which indicates no one checked part numbers

The online finder gave an incorrect part, for a different vehicle. However the guys in the store were fine with changing it for the correct part, it’s just a pain that I had to make two journeys to the store. So zero stars for the website and 5 stars for the in store service.

The cabin filter that I require is always showing as in stock yet when my order is processed the filter is not in stock. Please show an accurate stock level on your website as I find it frustrating that what I have ordered is particularly cancelled.

The battery is fine. The problem was that I ordered online and when I went to collect a few hours later the IT system had crashed, so a wasted 12 mile roundtrip as the item could not be provided. I offered to pay cash but was told that could not work as no invoice and details etc. It was unfortunate but annoying nonetheless and not the fault of anyone at the branch I attended.

Sent me 3 oil filters when I had ordered 4 but promptly rectified this and I would not be put off using them again.
