Usually have ok experience with GSF, but not this time. Ordered a cabin filter and engine air filter and collected at Leamington. First of all the cabin filter was broken so I went straight back in to swap it. Secondly when came to fit the engine air filter I found it was not the brand I ordered and was the wrong shape. So I returned to the store and got a refund. On both occasions I was served by the same person and found him completely disinterested, unengaged, and borderline rude. He did not ask for a reason for return or try and offer the correct part. Total contrast to Euro car parts where I then went to get the correct air filter.

I ordered a car battery. Even though I put in the registration of my car I still received the wrong battery. Apparently, as the car is a ‘start/stop car the battery was different. The website didn’t give you the option to state this. Quick delivery and free return but feel it was all a bit of a waste of time. Perhaps the website could be updated to stop this happening to someone else.

Ordered brake pads entered reg number. But there are 2 types of back pads, which I didn't know. It would have been better for you to ask which ones I needed. Apart from that the service was good

Service was brilliant in store, but your website is not very good. The part i required was a front oil seal for my Fiat Doblo, your website said the part i ordered fitted, but it is incorrect, I know this could be down to what your suppliers say, but it is wrong.

Disappointed that delivery took so long(10 days) but a quick phone call sorted the problem and it turned out to be at the fault of The currier. but it would have saved time on my end if a tracking number had been supplied. But unfortunately because of the delay i had to arrange my parts from an alternative supplier. Now need to sort out what to do with the parts i dont need.

I ordered the parts i needed the night before and went to collect them at approximately 15;00. I could see no one in front of the shop, but a few men talking in front of the storage entrance of GSF next to the shop front. Due to Covid 19 we have to wait outside the to be shop served even though the doors are open. I could see people inside looking at me but not coming out and the men outside looking. After ten min's (which felt like 30) a store man came over served me a young lady then came over and thanked him and said she didn't see me (didn't acknowledge me at all), then the men outside came in which i found out to be the area manager. I felt very disappointed and as if they where doing me a favour. one man serving and stock taking may be he has family they can run the place better.

The parts I ordered were good quality and were delivered in good time. The GSF website is genuinely an awful experience with trying to place an order, both on my android phone and on my laptop. The more things you look at, the slower it goes. Going back and forth just through a couple of pages, can literally take a few minutes and all on 4G or WiFi. There's a major problem with the trolley/basket on the site too. If you have items in your basket, say for example 5, and you then leave the site and come back later, it would have doubled the items, this happened no fewer than 4 times, leaving me with 4 times more items that what I had originally placed in the basket. Frustratingly too, I keep receiving emails from GSF, telling me I have an unfinished order in my basket, despite having already ordered, paid and received all of the items I required. The website also advises that you are able to track your order from your account once you register with them. Although a tracking number is nowhere to be found in the online account and much to my frustration, I had to ring up or email in, to get it. The customer service on the phone was average to good and the email responses were polite, prompt and courteous. I was also very surprised when I searched Google play store, to find that GSF doesn't appear to have an app either. The discounts they offer are extremely good and the parts received were all of very good quality. My wife also experienced the same issues I had on her laptop at her place of work, whilst trying to navigate their website.

Would have been 5 star had it not been the online order was wrong, part was for completely different vehicle. Thanks to the Torquay branch I was able to do a swap immediately and continue my repairs.

Phoned your help line as regards specific parts for my vehicle. I was told the exact part numbers required which I ordered. According to your advert, free delivery of parts to the UK. So I was not impressed when I was charged an extra £15.00 to deliver the parts to my address which is on one of the offshore islands in the outer hebrides. So please inform the UK government that the Hebrides islands are not in the UK. I am quite happy to accept offshore status.

Sadly my purchasing experience this time was not as good as it normally is because I opted for free home delivery,as I felt it safer than calling in person using click and collect,I assumed parts would be sent from my local depot,using GFS vans,instead items were sent from central depot and took 4 days to arrive,causing services having to be altered.In future I will use click and collect as it is much quicker.

Long waiting time for order to be dispatched and very expensive. After purchase I was informed I could have bought exactly the same part for £90.00 instead of £185.00.

Took advantage of the 60% off offer, and ordered 8l of oil and filters. A parcel arrived containing 1 liter of antifreeze. I rang to resolve this to be told the oil was out of stock! I did get a refund though.

Order placed online, delivered and was sent the wrong cabin filter. Tried to contact, sent message on system, no response. Called my nearest GSF branch and told me they would change it if I got there by 12.00 Saturday as they close, managed to get there and had to cue outside and wait my turn. Not impressed at all.
