“Easy and fast online service to find the part required.”

“I had given them £500 cash for a flywheel where they had given me a second hand one which was out of spec. I’d asked if they had a new one and they said they had one in another branch. I went to this other branch and they had given me another second hand one. I asked if they had another manufacturer in stock and they had said no but there is one on another store. I then drove to this third store and after explaining the situation the young man had turned around to his senior colleagues in the open plan office saying “aparently” this fella is here to exchange this; one of the senior colleagues- who I was now having to raise my voice over his open plan office had asked my if I had a trade account (I have been thinking I need one of these) to which I had said no and thought (absolutely not here now) the young man had given me my new item and I said thank you and goodbye after checking it and was just totally ignored. As a result of this I will not be going to GSF again.”

“We were on holidays in Burnham and my car battery died, so we ordered a car battery online for my Honda civic by putting in my car registration, we were only given one option. When we went to pick the battery up the assistant said it was the wrong battery as it was for a Honda jazz, he made sure we then had the right battery and luckily it was in stock. We were very pleased with his help.”

“Shocking service. Ordered a part the email stated it would be ready no later then 10am went in to collect it, after hearing numerous complaints and swearing from staff members I was told it wasnt there. I asked when it would be and I got told they dont know and when I asked how long for a refund I was also told they don't know. I left and managed to get the part elsewhere and much cheaper called them to arrange a refund which they said they would sort out recieved an email stating thank you for collecting your order and nothing confirming the refund called after another 2 days to see what was happening was told it hadnt been processed I needed the credit note explained I never recieved one as I called for the refund to be started then was emailed a credit note again nothing for a refund mentioned I had also tried the live chat and email by this point and finally went via PayPal to get my refund”

“Ordered a new battery online and collected from local store 20 mins later. Noticed in the store the Drivetec battery was rated at 45 amp and not the 52 amp I thought I'd ordered, queried this with salesman who assured me it was the right battery for my car and was possibly badged up wrongly ( DRBDM012). accepted this and 20 mins later it was fitted with no problems.”
