The part was fine and delivered as expected. One small point was that I made a mistake in the delivery option (pre-noon) as standard delivery would have been fine. I tried to change it by sending an e-mail straight away after the order was placed (Sunday) but the delivery option was not changed which was a little disappointing.

I went to shop not with printed copy of purchase but with reference number of the same. Seller couldn't trace my purchase and I had to buy in normal transaction.

Great internet service, let down by inflexible staff... Purchased brake pads on line, but realised that we needed the disc's also, as we were at the stage of having the wheels off and brakes stripped down, & needed the discs ASAP we called in to the counter, £100 difference between online and over the counter price? Staff wouldn't help stating that the online prices are nothing to do with them? so had to go outside place an online order then go back into the counter when order was received from central office?? crazy.....

Hi, Stores are unable to take the promotional discount over the counter, this is stated on our promotional emails. Stores are unable to adjust prices over the counter to match, purely as the system does not allow this. GSF Staff will always do there best to meet a customers needs, in some cases it isn't always possible to do so. Thanks Matt.

The website is disfunctional as if you go back to the first page without adding product to basket the product defaults to the original product . And when you go to added it to the basket you are not aware that it has done this because the product is only identified by a product code with showing the brand . This made me order the wrong product. Will not use this site again as it is not user friendly

Well,A does not seem to know what B is doing. First of all my original order was incorrect, so I connected you to correct it and kean Dale assured me it had been amended, but when I went to collect it it still showed up incorrectly, so the gentleman corrected on screen there and then, but I then get a message from you saying I had not picked up the order and still showing incorrectly which was followed within the hour with this review asking how well you had done. At the end of the day the order was dealt with quickly and the price was good.

Good value car parts and good staff. I pre reserved my goods online and picked them up. Unfortunately i had several emails after asking me to pick up the goods I reserved. And a final email saying "order cancelled". I'd already picked my goods up 1 hour after I reserved it !!!!!

Great service, But VERY misleading, Online prices are much higher than store prices, so when you get a discount email, double check as store prices could be lower than online (even with the discount).

I have received a discount code however I am unable to purchase a number of items because they are listed as collection only. When I checked my local branch they are not in stock. I cannot find anywhere on your site where I can order this items and when I phoned the local branch they said the offer would expire before the items could be ordered and shown in stock. On another matter when I typed my registration number into your website it listed a selection of items that are not relevant to my vehicle i.e. I own a 2007 car but your site listed wiper blades that only fit unto a 2005 car, why list these blades?

Hi, Thank you for your review, sorry the items you require are not in stock at your local branch. If you have a list of what you require we may be able to help you with this. The website doesn't list items to suit your specific vehicle only, it will work on your line of vehicle. So if the model product started in 2004 and finished in 2008, we will show all parts for between those years, it is down to the end user to select the correct item utilising the data provided. Used to use gsf for all my car parts, I have 4 cars and vans and also repair family cars, spent a considerable amount over the years, normally use 2 branches depending where I am they were both excellent but one branch has had a change of counter staff and unfortunately they are now next to useless so have started to shop around and have noticed on some items, same quality can be purchased cheaper elsewhere and get the right parts first time. Is it a coincidence prices have risen since the tie up with the parts alliance

good value parts ..... but delivery confused me, said free delivery on part I ordered , and next day delivery . if you read the conditions it says .... 2- 3 ( in fact if that was bad enough.. it was 4 -- 5 ) when it came................... please all read the small print

Often use Gsf however this time wasn't as good as normal. Your website couldn't handle the bank hol so told me I hadn't collected it before then initial time u quoted then still before this time it told me my order was cancelled. Also u only listed one option which were wrong so I had to go to Audi. This is a one off but u asked for a review based on this order. Thumbs up for the branch staff as they are always helpful.

I ordered some service parts, no problem here but the software eventually cancelled my order because it was a Bank Holiday weekend meaning that the order was cancelled before I could possibly go and collect the items. However, when I did go into the shop and explained they did honour my purchase and the prices

The statement that the goods will not be next day when ordered after 4pm should appear on the checkout page.

Ordered two brake disks (amongst some other things) but only one was dispatched, ended up having to delay the job 24hrs until second disk arrived next day. If they had got the disks correct it would have been 5/5

When I ordered the item your website said that it could be collected from 9a.m. the next day(Thursday). I went to Norwich on Thursday (30 mile round trip) to be told that it was not in stock but would be there on Friday. Early on Friday morning I received an email to say that I had not collected it!!!! Collected on Sat

A bit disappointed that a further discount was offered the day after I made my purchase. Also told on line that part was in stock, but on phoning to check, was told it would be delivered later that day. Due to the closure of my local branch, I was travelling a long way to collect the parts, so it was not an ideal situation.

Hi, I can see you reserved the item via click and collect with the relevant 20% discount. If the discount was provided prior to collecting you goods, you can reserve the items again using the larger discount and ask the store to cancel the first order. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks

When I arrived to collect the part it could not be found I was told it had been picked but as I said could not be found they was very apologetic but said I would have to come back later as they had arranged to send another from Northampton which I was not to happy about but had no choice just as I was about to leave it was found and not where it should of been

The online review and ordering service was very useful. However it should be noted that if you are ordering for collection on a Saturday the only gain is not waiting until Monday for a courier. Stores appear to have a skeleton staff on the "counter" at the weekend so collection can take some time. Fair play to my local branch here in Poole:they worked very hard to battle the queues developing, but more staff and maybe a filter system for collections and same day branch enquiries purchases could speed things up. The phones were ringing for long periods of time and as a previous business manager the potential for lost business is not something I would want if it could be avoided with a few more staff in place. Overall good service but could have been "great".
