“I rang up my local Halfords today and a lady called Debbie who worked on bikes answered and explained the car section was busy and was willing to help me with my enquiry. She searched the car battery I needed an told me there were two in stock. After getting my neighbour to jump start my car I headed down to St Helens Halfords were I was greeted by Donna-Marie and was sold my battery. Mike who fitted it was quick , efficient and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of car battery’s. Many thanks to all of you.”

“To cut a long story short there was a bike I wanted and tried to reserve but was out of stock from your Beckton store. Sherman contacted me and happily offered to collect this item himself from your Romford store and bring it to the Beckton store. This meant so much to me as it is a birthday gift I had been looking at getting for my daughter for a few weeks now. To me this is what great customer service is. Not only did he go out of his way, he also gave amazing service. So polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him! An asset to your company. Thank you again Sherman!”

“Unit D skippers Lane Middlesbrough. We just bought two E - Bikes from this store,we would like to thank Lenny for the fantastic service he gave us. He showed great patience and attention to detail when explaining the operation of the electrical systems,gears etc. No, I am not being sycophantic when I say he is a credit to Halfords! “Went to Halfords, Connswater, Belfast to get a headlight changed on a VW Polo. Gareth was assigned to us. He was extremely helpful and very efficient and so pleasant. He showed us every step of the way and got the job completed in minutes. The bulb cost £8 and the fitting cost £8.90. Delighted with the service and the price and will definitely be back. Thank you very much Gareth.”

“I was at the Darlington shop yesterday , Sunday, and I was extremely happy with the service. I called for a car bulb to be changed but the man that dealt with the issue, Tony Armstrong, discovered that there was a further issue which needs sorting out which wouldn't have been discovered except for his diligent work. extremely happy with service and Tony in my opinion needs a special pat on the back! Thanks so much.”

“Got two headlamp bulbs fitted to my Renault scenic this morning at the Chorley (Lancs) branch. Excellent service , they were fitted in five minutes (would have taken me a lot longer) highly recommended.”

“I was looking for a new baby seat for my little grandson, after buying a different car. Yvonne at the Maypole branch, was so helpful. Although there was nothing suitable in stock at that time, she gave me lots of advice as to the type of seat I needed for the model of car, as well as showing me how they should be fitted. Nothing was too much trouble. Her customer service was brilliant. I have now ordered a new baby seat from Halfords that has just come into stock.”

“today I needed to get a headlight replaced in my 2005 Renault megane having read several tips on how hard it was as you have to access from behind the front wheel, ok if you know just how it fits in has you have to work totally blind by touch only. lots of people have said they had to pay a lot of money for one light to be done. so I paid a trip to halfords Northampton riverside retail park and got a very nice man who said he could do it , it cost £30 for two blubs fitted and the poor man on his hand and knees for about 15 mins but well worth the money”

“My key fob batteries were flat so I went to the Sidcup store and a lovely polite young man was very helpful and fitted the batteries for me even went outside to check they worked properly.Could of had better service even the ladies on the cashier were very polite and friendly. Will definetly return to this store”

“I went to Halfords in Amblecote Stourbridge as I thought my side light had gone on my car. Ashley came out to look at it for me and said your bulb hasn’t gone it’s just the connection and the bulb worked. He said any problems just pop back. He could easily have sold me a bulb and I wouldn’t have been any wiser. I would like to commend him and will always recommend this store to my family and friends”

“The service was the best i have been treated to in a very long time. The young man could not do enough for my two grandchildren. He built and added a badket to my grandaughters bike. Took time to fit helmets on them both. Nothing was too much trouble. I would like to say a very big thank you for all his help. The young man was in the Lesds store on sweet street.”
