“I needed some fittings for roof bars for my Volvo at short notice due to a late availability break. On Monday 10th August I went to your Tamworth branch and saw Gavin. He told me he didn’t have any in store and ran a search at your other branches for me but unfortunately without any look. I told him I was due to go away on Saturday 15th so he ordered some in the hope they would arrive by the Friday/Saturday morning but he couldn’t guarantee they would arrive in time. However Gavin rang me on the Wednesday saying he had rang the depot and explained how urgent my order was and they had sorted it out and the fittings had arrived in store so he could fit them that day for me. I honestly can’t thank him enough as without him I wouldn’t have been able to go away. He was so professional, friendly and went well above what he needed to. He’s a real credit to your company and definitely a member of staff you should keep. Thanks again Gavin”

“I went into Halfords in Cheltenham retail park. I had an awful scratch on my car and was kindly helped by Ross he was so helpful to help me find the right paint to cover it up. I hope he gets some recognition for this, as he went out his way to come into the car park and see the scratch on my car to make sure we ordered the correct colour paint for my car. By far the best customer service I’ve experienced in a Halfords branch.”

“Please thank your staff at Worcester store for their excellent customer service. We had an issue with a headlight bulb and after finding the correct bulb they kindly fitted . The assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately he didn’t have a name badge on but hadn’t worked at the store too long . Saturday 19 September 09.35 . David Boddy”

“Phoned the Eastbourne branch and spoke to Gerry by phone explaining I had a problem with my car battery and was reluctant to turn the engine off until I knew what was wrong. I thought it was the Earth Strap as a nut had sheared off. He met me outside with a new Strap and asked his colleague to perform a battery check. It needed a new battery too, (the old one kept discharging), which they were able to supply a AND fit. I was back on the road within a few minutes. Absolutely fantastic service, thank you.”

“Overall, I am happy with Halfords. I buy their own brand car oil, filters, wipers and light bulbs. Their fitting service is excellent and the labour costs are competitive relative to main dealers. Staff are helpful and competent. I try to avoid peak times for obvious reasons.”

“I had a dash cam fitted yesterday at halfords in leamington spa and the guy that fitted was very helpful showed me how to use it told me how long it would take and was very thorough would highly recommend him im so happy”

“The team at Halfords Crystal Peaks are so friendly and most helpful. I took my car in fo have Tyre Pressure checked after a warning msg on the Car. They sorted out the tyre pressure in a most speedy time. I recommend Halfords all the way. Thanks so much guys.”

“I have found Halfords in Uxbridge to be the epitome of what customer care and good service to be all about. So refreshing to get happy smiling staff in a shop where you genuinely want help. I have used the car service for lamps and wipers and the bike service any number of times. I have had a full bike service, puncture repair, new tyres all sorts of purchases and every time I see to be served by someone new with the same philosophy. “Here’s an old bloke who needs help, let’s cheer him up!” Today I popped along expecting the store to be closed but they had a physical distancing policy in place that worked well. No one allowed in, parked bike outside, told Charlie ( for that was his name) from around 12 feet away, about my gears not working properly, he came out wheeled my bike away and 15 mins later it was back on the rack, he said “i only had to twiddle a couple of screws, so no charge”!!! I then pedalled off into a glorious sunny day for a trouble free multiple gear changing ride for a couple of hours much needed exercise. Thank you Halfords and bless you a Charlie and all the staff in these difficult times.”

“Bought halfords red universal cone airfilter and honestly couldn't be happier. It fitted perfectly onto my Corsa C 1.2 SXI twinport with no issues. As soon as it had been fitted took it straight out for a drive and it does do what it says on the box plus makes the engine sound a bit meaner but drives a lot smoother. Although the delivery was late I can honestly say I'm happy with my order.”

“I just wanted to say a huge thanks to the staff and in particular the young lady that answered the phone at the Lancaster Branch. I had a flat Battery on my discovery 3 and the Battery was under warranty. My Local branch at Kendal was closed and I had phoned the nearest branch to me at Kendal.This was on Sunday the 29th of March. I travelled to Lancaster the car was needed the following day to go to work in . The staff there were brilliant. Thanks once again”
