This was an extremely disturbing and unsafe experience I had with an Uber driver on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. This trip was booked through my medical insurance, HealthNet transportation, by Modivcare, and was not associated with my personal Uber account. Trip Details: * Date: Wednesday, June 18, 2025 * Approximate Pickup Time: 2:47 PM * Pickup Address: 12424 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles 90025 * Intended Drop-off Address: 505 S Virgil Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90020 * Driver Name: Catherine * Driver Vehicle: Gray Honda Civic, License Plate: 8K0Z757 * Driver Description: White Latin female, on the thicker side, wearing light jeans with a white shirt that has green leaves and peach color flowers, and a black cap with an LA logo. Incident Description: Upon pickup, the driver, Catherine, immediately expressed frustration about the trip duration, stating, "it’s going to take us an hour to get to your destination." Despite my assurance that I was not in a rush and would arrive on time for my appointment, she began attempting shortcuts. Throughout the journey, the driver exhibited highly reckless and aggressive driving behavior: * Erratic Lane Changes: She repeatedly changed lanes suddenly and aggressively, causing my body to "flip" to the left and right. This was extremely painful and dangerous, especially as I suffer from pre-existing back, neck, and hand injuries. * Excessive Speeding: After exiting the freeway onto Crenshaw Boulevard, where the speed limit is 35 mph, she accelerated to 55-65 mph while still changing lanes rapidly. * Verbal Abuse & Threats: When I politely asked her to stop speeding, she vehemently denied it. Upon my clarification of the speed limit, she began yelling, stating, "I’m not and this is my car I can drive it which ever way I want, you cannot tell me how to drive." She then repeatedly threatened to abandon me "in the middle of the street" if I did not stop telling her to drive safely, yelling, "if you don’t like it you can get off right now." I told her “I’m not telling you how to drive” and she responded “Then forget it, i’m gonna drive, however freaking I want to drive, if you don’t like it you can get off right now”. * Hostile Actions: When she noticed me holding my phone, she became more aggressive. She turned her body towards me while driving, making me fear she intended to hit me, causing me to move away. She then stopped the car abruptly and diagonally on the sidewalk, pointing her hand and repeatedly yelling, "get off here" while I was trying to exit the vehicle. I screamed "do not touch me" as I opened the door to get away from her. I was forced to exit the vehicle prematurely at an unsafe location due to her aggressive and threatening behavior. This left me stranded and required me to walk to find a business to call for alternative transport. As a direct result of this incident: * I was unable to reach my scheduled medical appointment (from a physical therapy office to an orthopedic office) on time, despite it being pre-arranged. * The reckless driving significantly exacerbated my existing injuries; I repeatedly hit my right hand and arm against the door, experienced whiplash in my neck from sudden stops, and felt increased pain in my back. * The entire experience was terrifying and highly distressing. This driver's conduct is completely unacceptable for any passenger, but particularly for a medical transport patient with injuries. Her actions put my safety and well-being at severe risk and directly impacted my physical condition. I hope that Uber will conduct a thorough investigation into this driver's behavior and for immediate appropriate action to be taken to ensure such an incident does not happen to anyone else. Uber has a responsibility to vet its drivers and ensure a safe and professional service, especially for vulnerable passengers on medical trips.

My driver was wonderful , but the system to unite driver and passenger at Charlotte Douglas airport makes me not want to use uber again for rides from airport. Signage and app directions on meeting point are vague or just plain wrong. Not everyone can distinguish car types so I would suggest a way to let passenger describe clothing so driver could recognize. An a way to actually text the passenger would be very helpful as it is a noisy airport and telephone communication does’t work

Mostly in peak hours you will never get a ride. Then why do you boast about your app. Then, drivers keep cancelling.. Horrible service when we require the most

A scheduled Uber ride with Vanae On April 07, resulted in my mother being scammed for 55$, since when I was out unloading the luggage, she told her the amount. The ride had already been prepaid on the app. Uber also has zero customer service. Beware!!

Uber is ok in its own way both delivery and ordering. Anything in life can be better. Delivery is hit and miss, uber will sometimes pay about what the order is worth and other times want two to three orders done for barely gas money. Ordering is usually more good than bad just getting lucky enough to get a good driver, most are in it for the money not customer service. Tips…well greedy customers will always be around I figure. Some tip very well and others think money is everything.

Uber black costs twice and all of the cars smell of cigars and some of them were overused and old cars. Why would we pay double for that?!?!

2025 Jan Visakhapatnam now a days I tried book uber they are asking for extra money which is not correct they are charging us more or else they are telling to cancel it. It is becoming so difficult to book uber now a days plz do something on this

It is a mixed review. I was pleased with the quick and informative response to a ride request. On the other hand, the Uber site advertises that it is prudent to reserve ahead of time to make sure a ride will be available. I tried to make a reservation for an hour and a half later....twice. Both times I was informed that an immediate driver was on the way. I had to cancel twice because I didn't need a ride immediately. Two cancellation charges resulted. Reserving a ride right now worked better. Mixed review.

They need not allow drivers to rate innocent riders one day for asking a driver to not go 20 over speed limit. Before it was because I’m a cautious woman that’s not super chatty at all, esp to strangers. Simply polite. And I tip decent. It’s so silly a rider is rated as drivers carry way more responsibility but I’m scared to speak up to them as I know they will rate me portly. Uber does not fix ratings. They give standard replies and makes me look bad to next driver as well as potential longer wait times. This is crazy and needs to stop. I’m currently seeking alternative transportation

I do not recommend working for Uber as a delivery driver. I completed a trip, but the Uber App wasn't working properly, and I wasn't able to confirm that I completed the order so I reached out to Uber Support to help with confirming the order so I can continue on. The agent lied to me by saying that she will have to cancel the order, but she promised that I will still get paid for it. Long story short, Uber didn't pay me the full amount they owed me. Uber Support continuously transferred me to every agent just to tell me that they weren't going to give me what they owed me. I asked for a supervisor many times, but they ignored me and continued to transfer me to another agent that basically couldn't help. PLEASE DO NOT WORK FOR UBER DELIVERY, it is not worth the frustration.

Either Uber or the driver took it upon themselves to leave an outrageous tip right after I was dropped off. There is no way to call or to talk to an actual person. Through the chat AI kept responding after refunding the tip amount. That doesn't solve the fact that the driver stole from me or Uber stole from me. I haven't been able to get a hold of a real person

I was happy at first when you were atleast provide proper services but now in emergency, drivers cancel ride and waiting time is more than 30 mins. because of that I was rejected from my interview even after being ready 30 mins before because uber drivers cancelled booking and waiting at least don't give fake hopes that your diver will come... I would've chosen other way. Please solve this issue...

99 percent of your Wagon R vehicles have inefficient ACs, instead of cooling car and re-circulating air inside it gives hot air and not air circulating, which makes us suffocating. Long journey becomes very pathetic. Iburge that you either remove all the Wagon R s from your operation or keep monthly AC check ups at your end. Better remove all all wagon Rs, because it is better to travel in Uber Auto than travelling in non functional AC in Wagon Rs
