Their customer support agents suck! In 3 messages they will disconnect the chat; 1. Hi 2. we can't issue a refund 3. Bye that's all! they don't care at all what customers are trying to say.

I wish I could rate it a zero. Between the long waits, them putting you on hold 24 times within the call, then repeating the same script to you even after you explain the problem, and them not figuring out how to solve simple issues that you have screenshots for, Uber Support is the WORST!

An Uber driver drove over my foot in Colombia last week. I was wearing a backpack and had to put it into the car first before i got in. So I set the backpack in and before i myself had the chance to get in to the car, he decided to start driving and ran over the top of my left foot. Uber is illegal in Colombia apparently. How would I have known that? It's not clearly written on the internet. According to this uber driver, uber being illegal was the reason he was rushing us into the car because he didn't want to get caught. When I told him he ran over my foot, he blamed me and said it wasn't his fault because Uber is illegal and he did what he had to do. Uber is negligent for operating illegally in a country. This wouldn't have happened would there have been no concern of "getting caught". And all Uber did? They "reminded him of the terms and conditions" and nothing more. It's laughable really. They then reimbursed me for my ride (which was a whopping $7), as if that would make this all better. This won't be going away anytime soon.

Uber support is ridiculous, they only repeat the same message with no clear instructions. How do your drivers get blocked & you claim its deactivated but your unable to fix?

If I could give -5 stars I would. The Uber Customer support agents are AWFUL, DREADFUL and HOPELESS. I don't know how much they are paying these people who BARELY SPEAK English but it has to be bad. They talk over you , they hang up on you when they can't understand you (which can be pretty bad if you are on the road in a dangerous area and need help)...and they rarely give you the help you need...in fact, they nearly never do. Don't drive for Uber because when you inevitably need serious help, you will suffer (at best) and be in great danger like I am right now (at worst).

THEY NEVER EVER LISTEN TO ANYTHING I HAVE TO SAY. THEY ARE EXTREMELY RUDE, THEY HANG UP ON DRIVERS, THEY WASTE DRIVERS TIME BY DELIBERATELY IGNORING THE DIRECT CONCERN EVEN AFTER I HAVE PROVIDED THEM WITH SCREENSHOTS AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION IN A VERY CLEAR MANNER SEVERAL TIMES. THEY TOOK OVER 24 HOURS TO RESPOND TO ME ONLINE ONLY TO STILL GIVE ME THE WRONG INFO AND TOLD ME SOMETHING THAT HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT I SAID OR EVEN THE ISSUE WAS. LONG STORY SHORT, I HAD TO DO MY VERY OWN CALCULATIONS AND LOOKED AT MY ACCOUNT DIRECTLY ON THEIR WEBSITE SINCE ON THEIR APP IT WASN'T CORRECT AND SOLVED MY PROBLEM MY DAMN SELF. MY CONCERN IS WITH UBER IS THAT I TALKED TO SOOOOOO MANY SO CALLED AGENTS AND SUPERVISORS AND NOT ONE OF THEM WAS ABLE TO PIN POINT THE EXACT PROBLEM BUT INSTEAD EVERYONE KEPT ON PLAYING GUESSING GAMES AND KEPT ON GRASPING AT STRAWS INSTEAD OF FINDING OUT WHAT THE REAL ISSUE WAS. ANOTHER MAJOR PROBLEM IS EVERYTIME I CALL I GET SOMEONE IN INDIA WITH A VERY THICK ACCENT AND A HORRIBLE PHONE CONNECTION. I HEAR DOGS IN THE BACKGROUND AND AT ONE POINT I EVEN HEARD A DAMN 🐄 IN THE BACKGROUND MOOING WHICH I FIND VERY VERY VERY STRANGE. UBER HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH DAMN MONEY TO HIRE PEOPLE RIGHT HERE IN THE USA INSTEAD OF HIRING THESE RUDE, LAZY, INCOMPETENT AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE IN INDIA OR OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD ONLY TO PAY THEM LESS JUST TO SAVE THEMSELVES SOME MONEY. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE PROBLEMS WITH UBER "SUPPORT" WHERE THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER AND THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION I HAVE SINCE THE GREEN HUB HAS CLOSED IN MY CITY DURING THE PANDEMIC. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone, the stupid AI chatbot is incredibly useless, and is not able to help outside of the most basic issues. All it does is link to worthless articles that don't actually resolve anything.

The incompetent driver could not find my location and he cancelled the trip, then I was charged a cancellation fee. I tried to dispute it with Uber and of course I was not refunded.

Their drivers consistently do not go to the right pickup point, and when I call to explain I don’t see them and that I’m standing RIGHT OUTSIDE they are rude and cancel, then I get charged!!! Make that make sense!!!

Charged me twice for rides that were not confirmed. Impossible to speak with someone in customer service. Terrible experience! Trying to get help on the app is impossible. It's a scam that they take your money without providing services and then tell you it will take 3-5 business days to refund!

As a rider, the inability to reach a person for customer support is completely unacceptable. I used two rides yesterday, and have three charges on my credit card, that do not add up to the two charges for the rides that I took. In addition the first ride that I took, automatically added a $10 tip to a $12 ride. And though I added a tip to my second ride it is not showing up on the receipt for the driver. I tried to use the bot in the app, to solve my problem, and the butt said that the ride was too old to talk about. So I will be contesting the charges that are in my credit card.

I would give this a zero if I could; seriously not even close to 1 star. The customer support agent I spoke with told me he has no way to see the app and can’t help me navigate it, so there was no way he could help me with my problem. He was completely clueless about anything Uber related. I found out more from Reddit and googling about my problem for 15 min than I did in my entire conversation.

Uber support is not helpful in the slightest.. and during tourism time i have to wait a half an hour to an hour to be picked up.. either uber isn’t pairing me to the closest driver or the drivers only want to pick up tourists who dont tip and vomit in their car. Its bad enough our city sidelines the locals for short bursts of tourism that ends up costing our city more money than it makes from them but uber doing it too? Don’t be surprised when locals stop paying for your overpriced taxi rides where most of the money goes to the app not the driver. Not only are you not paying your employees properly but when you raise the prices during hurricanes (which is disgusting to price gouge poor people trying to evacuate) and during high tourism and your drivers still make the same amount regardless it makes locals not want to pay your made up prices.. cause where is that money going? you aren’t passing along that money to the consumer once tourism is complete by making rides cheaper for a bit, and you dont give it to the drivers doing all the labor, so where does it go?

This is very very bad experience. Customer support people are messing around us. App is not updating property. I order some foods by updating the location. Even though app shows the correct address delivery location hasn't updated. Foods has gone somewhere else. Since it is a card payment, i lost my money as well.
