Worst Customer Service Experience – Completely Unacceptable Uber’s customer support is beyond terrible. Every time I have an issue, they completely avoid taking any real responsibility. They don’t listen, they copy-paste generic responses, and they rush to end the chat without actually solving the problem. It feels like they care more about closing tickets than helping real customers. In this particular case, the restaurant was taking forever to prepare my food. There was no option in the app to cancel the order, so I called the restaurant myself. They told me to cancel it on my end, but Uber doesn’t give you that ability. So I had no choice but to go through Uber's in-app chat. I contacted support four to five times, and each time it was the same story—no phone support, just repetitive chats that went nowhere. Not a single agent was willing to properly address the issue. They kept dodging responsibility, took too long to respond, and ultimately let the situation drag on until the restaurant finally prepared the food and a driver picked it up. All of this was completely avoidable if anyone on the support team had acted with urgency or basic common sense. Instead, they let it play out, and then closed the chat like everything was fine. Uber needs to seriously rethink how they handle customer service. This is unacceptable, and if this is the level of “support” customers can expect, it’s not worth using the platform

Normally I don’t have an issue with uber. I tip well and leave positive feedback. I booked a driver in advance to avoid headaches. Last minute he calls me and asks me to cancel bc his car is giving him trouble. I cancel and select “at drivers request” and get charged $30 cancellation anyway. Then their customer support wants to give me uber cash instead of my real cash which they shouldn’t have taken in the first place. Livid to say the least.

Absolutely shocking service. I am totally shocked that anyone drives or delivers for this company. No one on the live chat ever helps to the extent I once asked if I was talking to a robot. They tell you they have escalated your enquiry but weeks go by and no one contacts you. They refuse to give you an email or phone number

This review is mainly for the driver who drove the trip from RACPC SBI Tambaram to SBI GNChetty road . While starting the ride he asked for 350rs which was extra to the amount that showed but I agreed to it later at the drop location he said that I need to pay 370Rs and started talking harshly. Due to my safety issue I paid the amount. When I raised the complaint they said paying extra is your headache ok but did not address the safety issue. Being a woman customer now I dread taking the auto at Uber alone and ask some male members to accompany me.

I truly don't understand why they have a support team for... I've been waiting for my background to clear for over 3 years now and still nothing.! I know for sure that I have a clean background given the fact that I work at NASA and they do finger prints and all... and if my background can clear for them then what's taking so long for my background to clear for Uber? but every time I ask support to just delete my account so I can start the process all over they seem like they cant help me. 3 years is a long time and things has changed like I have a newer vehicle that I will need to update and same with the insurance. now they told me that they use a 3rd party for the background and I will have to call them.. well I did that and the said I will have to call Uber support...Hopefully someone will see this and they may be able to help me out

I went with several Uber drivers and only 1 driver, help my sister who had a walker, and help her after as well. The others just sits in their car and don't help. No manners.

Mostly in peak hours you will never get a ride. Then why do you boast about your app. Then, drivers keep cancelling.. Horrible service when we require the most

Θέμα: Απαράδεκτη εξυπηρέτηση – Καμία διαθέσιμη κούρσα επί 10 λεπτά σε επείγουσα ανάγκη Αγαπητή ομάδα της Uber, Οφείλω να εκφράσω την έντονη δυσαρέσκειά μου για την απαράδεκτη εμπειρία που βίωσα σήμερα μέσω της πλατφόρμας σας. Προσπαθούσα επί δέκα συνεχόμενα λεπτά, μέρα μεσημέρι, να βρω μια διαθέσιμη κούρσα στην περιοχή μου, σε μια στιγμή που είχα επείγουσα ανάγκη να μεταφέρω έναν άρρωστο άνθρωπο. Είναι αδιανόητο το 2025, με τόσα μέσα και τεχνολογική υποστήριξη, να μην μπορεί η Uber να εξυπηρετήσει άμεσα μια τέτοια κατάσταση. Δεν υπήρχε ούτε ειδοποίηση για καθυστερήσεις, ούτε πρόβλεψη, ούτε λύση. Μόνο ένα ατελείωτο “Αναζήτηση οδηγού” που απλά ανακυκλωνόταν, αφήνοντάς μας ξεκρέμαστους. Η αντιμετώπιση αυτή δεν συνάδει ούτε με τη φιλοσοφία εξυπηρέτησης πελατών που διαφημίζετε, ούτε με τις προσδοκίες των χρηστών σας. Όταν μιλάμε για ανθρώπινες ζωές και ανάγκες, η αδυναμία σας να προσφέρετε ένα τόσο βασικό πράγμα όπως μια διαδρομή, είναι εξοργιστική. First of all I was told I was not technically inclined because I couldn't hear the person. Then I was asked not to get mad because.i had an appointment and for some reason it wouldn't take my debit card information over and over again. So I said I have to go amd hung up the phone. Maybe it was just the person I was dealing with.

Uber in general is just not a company you should do business with their driver are able to lie and steel from you with minimal repercussions and I am very unsatisfied with their services as a whole.

I am not upset with any of the drivers but I am upset that I had a driver within 2 minutes away and it got canceled for me to have to wait another 17 minutes. This is very unprofessional on Uber's part.

I'm a driver with Uber and this platform is very unreliable. They take a large portion of your money for the trips that you perform and customer service is full of broken English speaking individuals that just transfer your calls to different departments. Customer Service gets upset with you because they can't understand you, but it's not my fault that English isn't their first language. Bring back English speaking customer service representatives and I would continue to drive with them. Until then, I suggest driving for Lyft. The app constantly crashes and you'll constantly get spam calls regarding your account.

No issues with the ride but Uber played a dirty ruse by sending out an email with a promotional QR code that can be used for the fast track at Rome airport and shopping discounts. Needless to say, there was no QR code in the email No one replied to the support email. Customer service ranks zero
