The Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering course is a very in depth course and covers a lot of necessary topics in order to ensure that the learner has met the UK and EU legal requirements. The course can be spread out over several sessions, and doesn’t have to be completed in one go which may help in terms of the length of the course! - it would be useful to have a summary at the end - available to save or print. - the test is way to easy with incorrect answers being simply silly - not challenging enough - when registering for the course, you must specify that the student's email address should be entered, not the payee's - the content is bulky and boring, perhaps include more activities etc to liven it up

The info said the course would take 2 hours. It took 3 and 1/2.

Nothing went wrong. I just thought that the pictures could be more interactive and more 'fun'....it was a bit dry!

The training substantially lacks interactive elements and tasks, there are only a couple of questions asked from time to time and it doesn't feel very engaging. I had a support request and it was dealt with immediately. However, both certificates have been sent in standard envelopes with no card backing, one has arrived a bit creased up, the other pretty much folded in half. Not very happy about this, they look rubbish.

As for the certificates, we do have a note on the envelope that says 'Do not Bend' so I do apologise this was missed. I will request for replacement copies to be sent in tomorrow morning's First Class post, this time in hard backed envelopes. The questions within the minute taking assessment at the end were quite ambigous, there were a few instances where I changed my answer and I has picked the correct answer in the first place which led to me getting an incorrect answer on a couple of questions.

The writing took a long time to appear even on the fast setting. More quizzes would have made it more engaging!

A bit of messing about to get / waiting for a username and password. 1st question in assessment I got wrong concerning disposal of fridge. This seems to contradict HSE website. http://www.hse.gov.uk/waste/waste-electrical.htm

As for the question, I forwarded this onto our Content Team and they have said the question is a little misleading and will be changed accordingly. The answer to the question just to clarify is that a fridge would need collecting and taking to a WEEE recycling center. Useful course with lots of interesting and relevant information. However the phrase 'death by PowerPoint' springs to mind! The content could do with a little more interaction to make the whole thing a little less tedious.

The course was fine I am just waiting for my certificate that said it would arrive next day, 4 days have passed

Sometimes the certificates may take 1-3 working days to arrive after we send them with the Royal Mail, so it is likely that it will arrive today! Nothing went wrong, whilst I appreciate the training should be accessible to all, the assessment questions are insultingly simple. This is not because I'm some sort of health and safety genius it just means that I managed to turn on the computer
