Hi Peter, Thank you for your review and your feedback, we really appreciate it! Our courses are not directly linked to CSCS, and they are not designed to go towards the CSCS card. I have sent across some more information regarding this via email, however if you would like to contact me over the phone just give us a call on 0333 006 7000, we’re here Mon-Fri 9am-5pm! Thanks again, Abby Eden (Customer Support, High Speed Training)

Apart from a few instances, the content of the course was very vague and common sense. I do not believe I really learnt much of value from this course.

Boring, Boring, Boring, oh did I mention it was BORING!!!!!!!!!!! The monotone dialog in the narrative does nothing to engage the student & it wasn't even in time with the visual text which would at least have been less distracting than having future text appear before the current text has been narrated.

Too time consuming and doesn't make it easy to remember the content too well

Learning materials were of low quality, with points often accompanied by photographs showing poor practice. Just one example, do cleaners in industrial premises really wear open-toed flip-flops? I've had to undertake this training as a box-ticking exercise. I regard the certificate as meaningless.

The course was too long and lacked interaction apart from the final quiz at the end

It is like "death by powerpoint" There are no practical examples of Risk Assesments or practicle example of implementation of the advice. Also the information is slightly out of date. CHIP regulation was withdrawn on 1st June 2015 and replaced with the European CLP Regulation. Also with regards to equipment and tool safety there is no mention of the Physical Agents Directive 2013/35/EU of electromagnetic fields that became effective on 1st July 2016. Finally I cannot download the slides. Cut and paste is too tedious. However I have the certification document that I need it.

in one of the questions; if a piece of equipment broke down then the job would change so you would then need to re evaluate the risk assessment, surely

Please allow an option to have all the text on screen at the same time instead of gradually popping up. Also, you may want to proof read some of your text as at times the grammar was confusing.

It's was so much and al lot of information was teached several times. If you had a good answer then a sign in red occured. I expected a green sign for this is more logic.

The slides were delaying the reading process. In my opinion it's easier to have them written down already in a way that we can press "next" as soon as we're done reading and not be forced to take a longer time to finish. Thank you.

it's S L O W to get through the pages. We do this for a living, we already know it, we don't need the ladybird book of how not to take a bribe/sell data/be corrupt. just put the words on the screen and give us a next button so that we can get on with our day!

We really appreciate all forms of feedback, so I've passed your comment onto the appropriate team to see if there's something that we can change for later versions of the course; for example, a way to speed up the text pages. While I appreciated the simplicity and automation of the training, the content tells the candidate that member states of the EEC were included in the desitinations to which information could be sent. One of the later questions in the 20-question quiz asked 'to which country could such data be shared' out of the following : Switzerland Pakistan China Russia The quiz gave the correct answer as 'Switzerland' but, to my understanding, this state is not and has never been a member of the now-defunct EEC nor the current EU. If we were supposed to follow the link within the training to check the Adequate Protection status of Switzerland [https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-data-protection/principle-8-international/] it is not actually listed among the EEA. We would then have to check the European Commission on Data Protection list for up-to-date information [http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/international-transfers/adequacy/index_en.htm]. This _does_ show Switzerland but I sense this was not supposed to be checked by the testee. I find it concerning that I may have been trained on a legal matter where the information (terms such as the EEC) is out of date and so incorrect.

Hi Jonathan, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I passed your comments into the appropriate team and they have responded saying that the course has been updated to state "France" instead of "Switzerland" and they have also updated the quiz question to avoid further confusion. The Government's website states ‘The EU operates an internal (or single) market which allows free movement of goods, capital, services and people between member states' - you are correct that Switzerland isn't in the EU however it is part of the single market, which means that the transfer of data to / from is acceptable. I hope that helps but if you'd like any other information, please feel free to contact me directly on 0333 006 7000 or support@highspeedtraining.co.uk. We're here Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. Many thanks! Kind regards, Phoebe (Customer Support, High Speed Training)

Hi Stewart, Thank you for your review and your feedback, we really appreciate it. To reach the assessment, you have to go through all of the reading material first; so everyone should be able to pass when they reach the end of the training. The recommended renewal date of the course is 12 months, however it is down to each individual company's risk assessment to decide when and how the training should be refreshed. We'd love to hear your thoughts on how the assessment can be improved. If you could please contact our Support Team, that would be really helpful: support@highspeedtraining.co.uk / 0333 006 7000. We're here Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. Best wishes, Phoebe (Customer Support, High Speed Training)
