Time consuming. I think always a real benefit in treating knowledge before training. If knowledge passes assessment, then no need for training.

I am sure you can appreciate the responsibility we have as a training provider to ensure our users are taking the time to read and understand the information in front of them. I do however appreciate some people absorb information faster than others! The course can be stopped and started at any time and doesn't have to be completed in one sitting. There is also a settings button within our courses and it does allow you to select your course speed to suit your preference, I hope that this will improve your experience if you purchase from us again! Enjoyed the course. The Assessment pass mark should be 85%, to expect 95% is ludicrous!

very basic, i'm undergoing an SMSTS course, i had hoped this would improve my chances but i think it would be better to read the CDM 2015 regulations, i think £22 not well spent as other sites give an more in-depth view with more 'checkable' questions/answears. Too basic for me whilst sitting an intensive course

23 modules was a lot to endure in a single day, as time is off essence had to finish in a day. the test some of the questions are put across poorly in an attempt to misdirect you to the incorrect answer, h&S tests shouldn't be to trip people up there should be a definitive answer, one of the poorest H&S Level 3 test I have had to do in all honesty.

The Level 3 Health and Safety in the Workplace course is a very in depth course and covers a lot of necessary topics in order to ensure that the learner has met the UK and EU legal requirements and as it is a Level 3 course there is even more topics to cover. The course can be spread out over several sessions, and doesn’t have to be completed in one go which may help in terms of the length of the course! With regards to the questions it would be really useful to know which questions you feel are worded in a way to misdirect the learner, I would love to bring this to the attention of our content team. Shouldn't need to listen to all the modules to pass the course. Over 30 years in construction and had to endure absolute boredom to pass the test.

Hello Owain, I hope you are well, and thank you for your review and feedback. It's great to hear you enjoyed the course and found it was nice and user friendly, however I'm sorry to hear you did not like the assessment questions! While having asbestos removed by a contractor is an appropriate action in many cases, it's not always necessarily the first one. Perhaps on a building site where old structures are being demolished that would be a good first action, but a duty holder carrying out a risk assessment in a building currently being occupied, for example a school or an office, may identify the location of asbestos but it is actually safer to leave it undisturbed and there is no immediate need to remove it which is why we would advise always checking the risk assessment and going from there. The term friability is used to describe the tendency that a solid material has to break into smaller pieces and release fibers when it is rubbed, touched, knocked and so forth. Materials that are high friability have a greater tendency to release these fibers when disturbed, which means they pose a greater risk to peoples health which is why we have used this term. We are soon to review this course with our specialist so we will be keeping all the feedback we've had from customers in mind including this one in the future!
