“The styles are good for the more mature woman, in good fabrics, stylish without being over the top. The new shop, with Phase Eight and Whistles, is a pleasant space to browse and try on and buy.Also online purchases arrive in good time.”

“Love their style and colour spectrum. Very classic but not stuffy ladies clothes. Has made me rethink my wardrobe. Love Hobbs navy blue with colour pops in other garments. I am certain I will be shopping again soon.”

“The clothing at Hobbs is of a higher quality than most women's brands. The material, the cut, everything aspect tells you that you are getting what you paid for. It is what I used to think of Ann Taylor many years ago.”

“It would be good to have an option for leg length, other brands have short, regular and long. Why cant Hobbs? I am not prepared to pay almost £100 to have to cut at least 100cm off the end of the legs.”

“I'm astonished to be writing this about a company like Hobbs but, frankly, both of the shirts ordered arrived in a very poor state: badly creased and looking as if they had been at the bottom of linen basket waiting to be washed and ironed. A little tissue paper in which they were wrapped failed to disguise the lack of care and quality. I had been attracted by the photograph of the shirt online and ordered two sizes to try. One was far too small, the other nearly so. Certainly didn't suit me. As a newcomer to Hobbs, I can only say that I was not impressed, and would not choose other items in the future. On the positive side, delivery was very prompt.”
