I find it hard to support a business that supports homophobia. And whose founder smuggled cultural artifacts.

Racial profiling by management and employees. Ease dropping on your conversations and asking personal questions like they know you. Felt very uncomfortable when this older woman start talking to me for such a long time and I didn’t know her. Prices are too expensive compared to other places. Need to hire more people of color and treat them fairly.

On November 21, 2022 my friend and I went to Hobby Lobby located at 13899 SW 88 Street in Miami, FL 33186 Store #559 The store was packed as expected at this time of year and the lines were long. I had made a Happy Planner purchase last week and this week they were on sale for 40% off and I also wanted to purchase one for my daughter as a gift. The cashier could not speak English at well nor could the manager!! They had the nerve to ask me why it bothered me that she didnt speak English. She is new and so what if she doesnt speak it. This store is on American soil and I an American have lived here all my life. I made my purchases and then the problem really started! She didnt understand I wanted to return my purchase and re buy it at 40% off. she put the items aside and i had to keep repeating that I wanted to repurchase them The manager came over and she could not understand us either. A third employee had to come over and explain what we wanted done. Another employee even chimed in so what if she doesnt speak English, she is new. I as an American can not get hired if I am not bilingual but yet you are hiring and promoting people who dont speak English?? My girlfriend returned her purchases. Her and I vow to never shop at Hobby Lobby again. We are not a bilingual country We are America and the language is English. I kept my purchase because i truly needed it but from now on I will order directly from The Happy Planner Website. You really need to rethink your hiring process This is not Little Havana or Cuba. This is West Kendall in Miami, FL More people need to take a stand and stop supporting theses stores that are so offensive.

Hobby lobby online is beyond inept. Canceled order for no reason, double charged card, wrong tracking number, 10 days to get notified one item is out of stock, lied to about being shipped, now won't issue refund until I get, and then return package! Which they now say I won't receive for another 8 days. Never again will I spend ANY money at hobby lobby, online or in-store. Inept doesn't cover it.

Customer service is terrible. Beware ordering online, if you have any issues they have very poor service & not customer oriented. Losing many returning customers.

Extremely disgusted to see metal letters on one of Hobby Lobby's ads showing "TRUMP." He is a threat to America's democracy and that little bit of subtle endorsement made me decide to never shop there again. Think about it!

I have always heard that Hobby Lobby were believers in the Lord, I would think that their employees would be a reflection of that...I was wrong. I was shopping in the Greenwood sc Hobby Lobby a week ago and overheard the manager talking to one employee about another employee! Even worse, they seemed oblivious to the fact that people were around and listening. The kind of things that that manager was saying disappointed me so badly that I quickly grabbed my baby from the buggy and left the store. I will probably never go back in that Greenwood Hobby Lobby again.

Absolutely awful, terrible terrible terrible. I would never recommend shop there. Maybe find a different craft store or shop online. This was an awful experience! I’m so upset with the outcome.

My experience with my online order delivery. I received 2 wall decor yesterday (3/31/22). The box was not sealed completely, the box was partially open. Only 1 of the picture was wrapped in plastic, the one that wasn't was slightly damaged ( with paint scrapped off). Dissatisfied!

The Hobby Lobby store recently opened up in Avon I have been purchasing there since that they opened. I recently purchased a can of spray paint the instructions said to stick a screwdriver in the cap and turn it to remove the cap. Upon doing that the complete can of paint completely erupted. All the paint went on my workstation my green mat my floor in my chair and myself. I took the paint back to the Hobby Lobby store and I said I was very unhappy with what had happened and I didn't think it was fair to just get the $3.50 that can cost me. Rather than asking what would make me happy which would have been very little based upon what it happened the manager very matter-of-factly said oh you have to call the manufacturer and deal with them. I explained to him that I had bought it from Hobby Lobby and that's where the problem was and again he never even asked me what he could do to make it right again it would have been very little considering the damage you that done. I feel that these managers are not trade-in customer service they're strictly trained in making money that is the way it felt and therefore I do not need to do any more business with Hobby Lobby anywhere.

I'd leave less if I could. Went to hobby Lobby in Racine Wisconsin on 3/17/22. I operate an Etsy store and Hobby lobby was my go to for basic supplies. Yesterday's Trip was a nightmare. i Asked where certain items were and was ignored, I asked if there was more of a particular items in back was very rudely told that they don't keep stock in the back, I also asked for a price check on an item and wad told by staff, there's no time to price check. It was 1 pm and other than the staff there might have been 5 customers in the store. The few things I did buy were priced on the high end of reasonable. The unfinished wood boxes are now not an item I would buy from Hobby lobby. They have raised prices on several items by as much as 500% or more. Went to Michael's and got treated much better by the staff.

Cute stuff, but it’s really all junk. Poorly made and they don’t back their products. Probably best for one-time-use items - party decor, give-aways, etc. stay away from wall decor and fake wood items!

The prices are good but the lines rival Walmart's ridiculous business practices. Now I know why a lot of people buy online. And the manager is no where to be found!

Do not order from Hobby Lobby online! I purchased two baskets late December 2021. One finally delivered January 18, the other one was on the FedEx truck to deliver January 19. I sent an email and called Hobby Lobby CS on January 20th. I left a message because they were too busy to take my call. Customer Service returned my call but I was unable to take the call because I work during the day but call right back 4 times leaving a message each time but no response. I spoke to the operator who transferred me to the sup Jana but she never returned my call. On January 21st I called during my 30 minute lunch. I was finally able to speak to a CS rep after a 20 minute hold. After explaining my issue, she put me back on hold and I believe maybe reached out to FedEx, came back on the phone and said that I should call back after 8 days for a refund if I still have not received the item. Really!!! Hobby Lobby has had my money since late December and I still do not have the merchandise.

i received a gift card to Hobby lobby and although i don't normally shop hobby lobby I went to one a couple of weeks ago to use the give card. i was going to buy yarn and the yarn department was at the back of the store. a manager was walking by me so i asked him if they'd acquired scooters. he said no only wheelchairs, i asked if he'd push me in the wheelchair to the yarn department and he said no he couldn't. the store is so big, and it is a hardship for me to shop there. anyway, when i was there i bought several skeins of yarn, i decided i need some more yarn so i hopped on line and went to their website to order more yarn for curbside pickup. i couldn't find where to signify that i wanted curbside pick up and couldn't find it so i called their customer service number and asked for help finding out how to make the order. the woman who answered the phone said that their website is owned by somebody else who have their own warehouses ergo no curbside pickup. for a company who toots their own horn about allowing staff and customers a day of rest in order to worship by keeping their stores closed, this attitude toward customer service is pretty bad. i will never shop hobby lobby again.

Hobby Lobby is giving their full-time employees a raise from$17 to $18.50, however, after the Christmas holiday season which is only about six weeks, the full-time employees will barely get 30 hours and the part-time employees will barely get 12 hours. Hobby Lobby's own employee handbook stipulates 35 hours or more as full-time. The public does not know this.
