In SC they don't require face masks for workers or patrons. Will not step foot in the stores. How can you have such a callous attitude towards customers and workers health

Sent 2 emails and 2voicemails and no one responded. My last 2 orders the package wasn't secure, they reimbursed me for the bad marks on the yarn, in the first package, but now the second . package was open and one skein of yarn was missing.they won't respond.

They’re pretty terrible from top to bottom. My experience as a customer is always poor (they can never complete online orders even though the customer pays for shipping) and the company itself is very conservative. Shop with caution.

They have amazing products and in store service is always fantastic. During the pandemic, though, I ordered from online. I received my package and had two items completely broken in several places and two others damaged. I've tried contacting corporate for a week now and they won't accept phone calls directing you to email only. Well, I emailed the first day and have now emailed twice and yet to receive any response. So, I called a Hobby Lobby store about an hour from my location asking if I could bring in my receipt along with the broken items and the damaged items to exchange for items that were not broken. They said when ordering from corporate it has to be dealt back with corporate. So, the in store customer service has been amazing when I've gone to physical locations - always very friendly and helpful. Dealing with an online order - has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered. I'm about to drive an hour to my nearest Hobby Lobby location and just purchase the items again since I cannot receive a response but then do not intend to shop there any longer. If the items weren't matching items to the other ones I got - I wouldn't even bother.

I travel all over the world. I have not seen a person of color working on any Hobby Lobby except in Pratville, Alabama. I would like to know why does Hobby Lobby only hire Caucasian. I had this conversation with my Chamber of Commerce Diversity and Inclusion Board.

I have always been amazed at the amount of religious product at hobby lobby. In the past, I could not find a desk calendar that didn’t have a cross on it. (Would not have been appropriate in my office). This time I went to the Latham, NY store get decorations for my grandchild‘s baptism. I thought hobby lobby would be the best place! I was so wrong. They did not have one baptism decoration. I guess you want to spread the good word but not baptize new Christians? Still shaking my head.

customer service fail. I ordered a gift card 10 days ago. It shipped the same day and was never received. Customer Service is telling me my only option is to have the GC cancelled and refund my money. Can you not cancel the GC and send another one?

Late delivery of my order of $1000+ Order. Tracking says it was but it wasn't. Found it hard for anyone to replay to my emails. Beware things can go wrong at Hobby Lobby!

I went to the Jackson, TN store to purchase a large size box and wrapping paper. ONE checkout was open and there were 6 customers ahead of me. I waited in line for 15 minutes and spoke to the manager who was just taking up space, to say "You have one register open and this is Saturday when a lot of people are out shopping and if I could find the items I need somewhere else, I would not be in this store". I have been reading your reviews. Can you not see how many complaints you have about only one checkout line open? OPEN YOUR EYES.

I was charge full price for a clearance item and when I told them they acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Now I have to bring the item in with the receipt to prove that it was on sale. I got no Apology or any compensation for my time and gas.

I went into Hobby Lobby today and picked up a frame and a wind chime. As I am walking away from the register after purchasing the wind chime literally breaks and part of it falls on the floor. So I kind of laughed and said to the two women at the register (one checking people out the other, literally just standing there) "Well, I'm definitely going to return that.." and then she says (the one doing nothing and just standing there) "its not really broken.."(it had screw hooks and the screw hook had fallen out...probably because the hole was too wide) . Then I said (nicely, keep in mind) well it's clearly kind of flimsy so I would rather return it. And then she just looks at me and said..."well, you're going to have to get in the back of the line". At this point 10 people were in line. I said "are you serious?" because in my mind...why wouldn't you just see what happened (be an employee doing absolutely nothing with your time) and just say, I'll take you to the other register so you can return that no problem. Then the woman ringing out says...yup..you have to go to the end of the line. So I start walking back there and then was like...nope. I turned around...put it down and said "you keep it" and walked out. I ended up calling the manager, telling him what happened and he had me come back so he could refund me for the item. He was very nice, but I will never go back there. I don't need to see those two employees of the month any time soon. I have worked in customer service a bunch and as a waitress, teacher...this just isn't how you treat people. Period.

I was with friends buying wooden boxes. There’s was $12 and mine was $26. And I went to the back to see if they had more of the $12 boxes because I don’t want to pay $26 for a WOODEN BOX, and they said they didn’t have any which they totally did. This box had an ugly wierd metal handle and had no color and was smaller. And it was 14$ more.

So I usually go to a different store for my art supplies, but I was visiting a friend and decided to check out the Hobby Lobby in her town of Mt Dora. We each had an arm full of things we were going to buy and made our way up to the cash registers. To our surprise there was only 1 register open even though there was 3 people in line ahead of us and one behind us. Three other workers were around the registers stocking. No one said anything as we stood there waiting. Finally we put our things down and left. What has happened to customer service? I’ll stick with Micheal’s.

3/22/24 I was in the Paris Store today I was headed to check out one of the store clerks yelled that another lane was opening up for everyone to hear I was heading right there to the lane that was opening up I was literally right there all I had to do was put my items on the counter when the clerk that yelled the lane was opening she literally stopped me and said ma’am you will have to wait because I told them talking about another customer that was in the first lane they could come over the this lane. I stood there while a couple with a buggy full of items with a child that was climbing out the buggy come all the way from the first lane over two or three lanes I only had 3 small gift bows in my hand the clerk said “ sorry ma’am but that’s store policy” I then moved over to the first lane because it had no wait at that time I ask the guy clerk what was the ladies name that yell another lane was opening up he said he didn’t know her name I was very upset that i was treated that way he literally said that didn’t make any sense I started to just leave my items and walk out but I didn’t. I said it’s because I’m BLACK!! and the other customers were WHITE!!! and I was VERY VERY OFFENDED!! so before I left the store I went to the clerk to ask her what her name was she said SUSAN I was looking at her store badge not only did I see her name on her badge but she was also the Manager this happened at the Paris Tx store now I have been in retail before for several years and the way I was treated today was uncalled for and very inappropriate I told her I was going to make a online complaint and I was going to call the corporate office on Monday morning all she did was stand there with a fake “IM SORRY” I told her I’M SORRY TO!! but you will be getting a compliment online TODAY & a corporate call on MONDAY. This how Black people are treated In the Paris Store.

I went to make a return today and the store was very busy with 2 checkout cashiers. I was in the shorter line unknowingly it was not the return line. Some person in charge told me to get in the other very long line instead of just allowing me to return my item at the line I was currently in. After about a 20 minute wait in the return line, the cashier Karen G was very rude and sarcastic asking me if there was anything wrong with my return. I asked her why she needed that info because the store tags were clearly still on the merchandise. She got very snippy and went on to explain why. If I was so rude, sarcastic and snippity to my customers in my profession I would be fired. Be careful at the Hobby Lobby at 9955 Triangle Blvd Naples, FL. Very nasty people work there.

I wasn't in my lunch time. I went to the Hobby Lobby at Oakley at Argyle Center Jacksonville Fl. It was nobody in the cashiers only one requesting help and the customer she was taking care have many items. Then was a clerk walking around simulating fixing things that was not me to be fixed. She looked at me I thought shw is going to open but not keep doing nothing, she anseer the phone ans look around ignoring. I was in the expectation if she is going to help since I'm also have a lot items too nd there was more people behind me. She didn't s She don't address me and she keeps fully around in the area. Doing nothing when people are waiting. I come in my lunch time. I Left the basket snd leave there at least now she has something to do. And this is really wrong because it isbsomebody available and you there why you do that. And you see people are line. To a craft store customer service n3ed to be a mayor thing. You need to feel Welcome and and people buying in these place are created ipeople that delight to enjoy the time there to do different things. I leave frustrated

The manager’s at the Chulavista store makes me UNCOMFORTABLE every time I shop there! I’ve shopped for picture frames and flowers, and I’ve noticed that I’m always always always been followed by the African American manager and the Hispanic heavy set manager in the glasses! This is truly EMBARRASSING TO ME! I AM NOT A THEIF! MOST OF THE WORKERS ARE THIEVES AND HAVE THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS COMING AND TAKING THINGS. I HAVE witnessed it many times, next time I’m going to videotape and put it on social media!

Very poor customer service. Waited in a line of 13 customers ( only 1 register open) only to be told I have to go to another line to make a return transaction. When I asked why other store associates weren't called to open more registers the response was " sometimes people won't come to open another register when called" really? Is that good customer service? I stood in another line ; the correct line I was told to complete my return. I have been a good and loyal customer to this Berlin, Vermont store since its opening but I can buy the items I shop for at other stores near me. I'm done with the disrespect I felt today at your store.
