It is horrible to order product online from Home Depot. I ordered some product never received it!!however when I jump through the hops to get in contact with customer support team Tanya (chat) for a long time without the result then with Brian on the phone from customer service!! waste of time. They are charging me for the product which I didn't received. They wanted me to call my bank and ask the bank to take care of it.!!!. I have been shopping and buying materials from Home Depot in person, however due to covid I decided to shop online and had a horrible experience. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SHOP ONLINE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE, RUDE AND MOST OF ALL DO NOT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE PROBLEM. I asked for replacement, Tanya told me to go online order it again and pay for it again!!!. I don't know how she got her training and what is the logic behind this stupid and illogical statement. I AM DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I'm in the middle of a home construction project in rural Colorado and my furniture has been in commercial storage since May 1st. I needed garage doors for two out-buildings so that furniture could be moved into them. I made an in-store purchase of Two Clopay 8'x 7' overhead garage doors at the Morrison, CO store on July 12, '21 and was told at that time the order would be ready for delivery "sometime in August". I was never updated by the store as to the status of my order and each time I called to inquire the delivery dates were pushed back to September, October 10th, November 2nd and November 20th. Sometime near the end of November I called to cancel my order and was told that the doors are expected at the Denver Clopay warehouse within the next few days. A few days later the store manager called to say that the door panels were at the warehouse but that the hardware package associated with my order had been misplaced and was on back order, expected in on January 10th, a full six months after I had placed the order. My furniture is still in commercial storage and my out- buildings still HAVE NO DOORS.

I purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot. It was scheduled for delivery on 12/15/2021 the instructions from Home Depot is you have to have the area cleared out to receive the delivery. So we turned off the water line to the refrigerator and removed our old refrigerator from the house. Well we received a call the afternoon of the 15th that they were canceling the delivery due to strong winds. Instead of them scheduling to deliver it the next day they scheduled it for 5 days later on the 20th of December. So they show up the deliver guy comes in and says the refrigerator is to big to fit thru our kitchen door and then leaves. The refrigerator will fit thru our door but I called Home Depot to get the measurements and to get them to come back with my refrigerator. Home Depot said it’s a third part company that delivers and they won’t take any responsibility for our refrigerator not being delivered because it’s a third party company that they have deliver appliances and we need to speak with them. After 4 hours on the phone, two wasted days, we have to wait another 9 days to have the same sorry company come out and all we can do is wait and see if they will deliver our refrigerator or not. Home Depot had no problem taking the money out of my bank account the day I ordered this refrigerator I spent a lot more then I had planed on because I needed a refrigerator and didn’t want to wait for one that was on back order. All I can say is they will never get another dime of my business. If they continue to treat customers like this they will go out of business or at least I hope they do. Hopefully I will end up with my refrigerator. They don’t care that we are having to go with out a refrigerator, hundreds of dollars of food wasted.

If I could give a 0 for a rating I would. We purchased a washer/dryer set on 11/26 with pickup of old. Paid in full by check with delivery on 12/7. 12/7 came with delivery The order was so mixed up that they sent wrong color, and was refusing to take away both old ones. Plus we debated on just taking the wrong color and before we could decide the delivery driver told it was too late, he was putting them back in the truck! They were sitting on the lift to lowered to the ground. We then refused the order, sadly, went back to home depot to try and fix and was met with an individual in the appliance department that wouldn't help us. She was finishing out her two week notice and was just ugly with us. Kept saying you have to call that number, can't help us. This is where I bought the set. So we called the number and got some guy who couldn't speak great English. We told him that we only wanted to cancel our order for the washer and dryer and not the january delivery of the stacking kit. he CANCELLED everything both orders and said wait 3-5 days and we will get a call about refund. No call, nothing. I called on day 7 and was told he had cancelled everything. Went back AGAIN! and the appliance manager was extremely helpful. Worked on correcting a huge mess of an order. Got us another set, delivery date of 12/20. Sadly, I had to pay again to keep that delivery date. So to date I have paid for 2 wash/dryer sets, only received a partial refund and am fighting with the store to get the rest of my money back. I won't wait 3-5 days for a check, I expect a full refund immediately, just like I had to pay to get it. This will be my 4th trip into the store to see the store manager about my refund. They have been rude, disrespectful and absolutely not willing to work this out. Only bright side is the two individuals in appliances that really worked hard to help us. Even they were given a hard time by customer call center. Don't buy at home depot. I will never buy another item at this store again. My next steps will be going to the BBB, attorney general and maybe even the media. This is in North Canton, Ohio.

After two days of being stuck at home during the busy holiday season awaiting delivery from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., we still did not receive our order. Numerous phone calls and a tremendous amount of time on hold resulted in a conversation with Lee (manager of the Johns Creek Store), who went to great lengths to insure delivery the following day. Also, thanks to manager Bob who personally delivered our purchase.

Had one of the worst experiences with a vendor, that I can remember. Went to your flooring dept. at you Poulsbo Washington location picked a slate flooring and scheduled install. After waiting 2 months they show up today, pull my carpet, cutting it into pieces, remove it with padding, lay out my slate, call manager, manager comes, installers leave. Evidently they do not like to install flooring on chip Crete, which is what I have over my radiant floor heating system. I am sitting in my home with no flooring and no resolution other than oops sorry, we can refund you you're money. Crystal (from flooring) and Shannon (store manager) were absolutely no help. This is how you operate? The measurer came out 2 months ago, measured, pulled a corner of carpet and indicated the subfloor, so what's the problem? Why am I sitting in my home with no flooring and no help!! As my records will show, I have spent $15,000. at Home Depot this year and hundreds of thousands over the past decades. This is completely unacceptable.

Worst delivery experience of my life! My refrigerator was scheduled to be delivered yesterday 12/6 between 9:30am and 1:30pm. I was told I would be called 30 minutes prior to delivery. The driver called me at 9:03 am and told me he was 10 minutes away. I told him I thought I was supposed to get a call 30 minutes before the delivery, and he said they were finished with a delivery nearby and would be there in 10 minutes. I said ok, my son is just down the street I’ll call him to come over. I also told him I just want to double check and make sure they had the water line that was part of my order for installation. The driver seemed confused, said something to someone else and then said yes, it’s on the truck. My son was there in about 10 minutes and I arrived from work shortly after. I waited for 2 hours before I had to go back to work. My son stayed there all day to wait. Throughout the day I spent almost 5 hours making phone calls and live chatting (getting disconnected and booted out of the chats multiple times. Eventually I was told that a “delivery attempt was made at 9:14”. (What good is a 4 hour delivery window if you don’t deliver within the window!) After much frustration and discussion, I reached a supervisor who rescheduled the delivery for today 12/7, but they were unable to give me a delivery window. I had my adult son and daughter stay at my house all day today for the delivery. I eventually reached someone who gave me a 2-6pm delivery window. At 5:30 when I had not heard from a delivery driver. I used live chat and also called the delivery number. I spent an hour and a half chatting and waiting on hold at the same time. A supervisor named Brittany was supposed to call me back within an hour - I did not receive a call. At 8:10 I received this fairly generic email. My old refrigerator was sold and picked up on 12/6 - my new one was supposed to be delivered before the old one was picked up. As a result I have almost $200 of spoiled groceries, and my son took off 2 days to sit at my house and wait for the refrigerator that was never delivered. This has been an exercise in frustration and is completely unacceptable. Words cannot express how much trouble this has been and I still do not have a refrigerator.

Please see the case number below I will NEVER visit a home depot store again, and will do my best to ensure that anyone that I am associated with, patronizes Home Depot I ordered a washing machine from you, never imagining that I would be in Home Depot / LG Hell.  a vicious circle that was created so home depot and LG together can hold on to a consumers money, and Just play games with them   The washing machine was delivered to us on 11/27.   they tried to deliver it, however it was damaged.  We did not accept the delivery.  I called the store (home depot) and was informed, that it is NOT their issue, that I am a LG person.   I stated "I purchased this from home depot" and the store informed me that I am not their problem  - EXACT WORDS. I called LG, which they had already received the pictures of the damage.   They indicated someone would contact me in 24 hours.  Of course, no phone call from LG (to date, I have never received a call for them regarding the damaged washing machine)  So on MOnday,11/29,  I cancelled my order with Home Depot.   Home depot indicated that I would have my refund in 3 - 5 days.  (actually on the phone they said 48 hours).  So here I am 6 days later, and still no refund.  The sad part of all of this, I was a fool and ordered another one from Home depot.  Very dumb move on my part. Today in the store on 12/3,  I am informed again, that home depot can no longer help me  They do not refund money on applicances.  I DID NOT receive or accept the washing machine due to the damage.  I purchased this from Home Depot and they should be the one refunding back to me.  I trusted home depot, based up on lowes and best buy.  As of today, I will be a lowes customer.   I am then informed that LG has not yet released the appliance so I can get a refund  I asked how long this takes and they said typically 24 hours.  Well guess what...... it has been 6 days   I spoke with LG, and they stated they would escalate this as they do not understand why this has not yet been released and perhaps it is not back to the warehouse?   I truly dont care, its not my issue, and no one, NOT home depot nor LG care about me the consumer.  I am caught in a tangled web of lies between home depot and LG. so as of today I am out $2000 dollars, and still no washing machine  I have NOT been refunded the first one, I have ordered the 2nd one (and paid for it) but yet I have no washing machine to show for all of this. And the biggest thing, home depot does NOT care and will not help you obtain your money back Again, home depot informed me that I am NOT their customer, that I belong to LG. LG will not help me.   They stated that I need LG to work out the problem.  again, I ordered this from home depot, not LG.      I was NEVER once informed of this when I purchased the washing machine, no one at Home Depot said "hey after you pay for this, please do not call us, you belong to LG"  I would have immediately walked out the door.  This has been repeated to me so many times   "mam, you are an LG customer, not home depot.  Does not matter that you purchased from us" I will never ever ever ever visit a home depot store.  I am going to be cancelling the 2nd order as well, as I cant relate to a store that does not support their customers.    please advise what is the steps that need to be taken to get my washing machine refund on this order?  My next steps is to take legal action as I am quite sure any legal area would love to see how both home depot and LG DO NOT support the consumer and just continue to find ways to keep the money. I ordered Weatherguard tool boxes for my new company truck. Told another guy I work with to order his. Our new company trucks have been sitting in the same place for a week now. Going to be at least another week. The boss asked him why we weren’t driving the new trucks. He told him Home Depot has our new boxes for 3 going on 4 weeks when they promised 2 week delivery. Thanks Home Depot. Really appreciate it.

"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark." *William Shakespeare Please be careful and protect yourselves. The delivery people are contracted out. No one at The Home Depot does criminal background checks on them. You have no idea who you are really opening your door to. Please never be in your home alone when they arrive. I was, and I paid dearly for it. Trust none of them. Also, they are not plumbers, maintenance men or handymen. They seem to not know how to install appliances or they choose not to do the jobs, due to the fact that it includes more work for them. They will inform you that something is wrong with your equipment and leave. They are nothing more than delivery people-with no code of ethics. They appear angry...Please don't turn your back on them and stay safe. I didn't want to write a review, but I am concerned about the safety of others. Good luck.

Flooring installation. Flooring was laid incorrectly and over time warped because of this. We told Home Depot and it’s on the order that we needed leveling prior to installing of wood planks. Their installer refused to do leveling when he came and said it didn’t need it but it did. We complained but they wanted to only repair it which can’t be done. Has be torn out and replaced. They said we waited too long to complain but that was due to pandemic and not wanting people coming into home. They don’t care! We were told we have pay to have it redone when they failed to do it right in first place!! The product is fine as we had more laid by our own installer and it’s great! Buyers I don’t use their installers from Moore store.

I ordered multiple things from Home Depot online two of them they had one they back ordered so they canceled the order I paid for it through PayPal I'm going on the 6th day now and I still can't get a refund for the canceled order and no one seems to know what I'm talking about they don't even exchange the canceled order for a different set of what I ordered at equal value I don't understand why they can take the money immediately but it takes days and weeks to get refunded that doesn't make sense

DO NOT EVER DO SERVICE WITH THIS STORE. They have absolutely ruined my experience of buying appliances. The first washer and dryer we bought was supposed to come within the 10:30-2:30 window, it did not get delivered until 6 pm. A few days later it was leaking. They replaced it and did not give us proper notice on timing and would not stay to wait for us to get home. AGAIN, the NEW washer leaked, we then bought a new set that got delivered and CANCELLED on us FOR NO REASON so as they brought them in they took them out within 5 minutes of being there. They left our old ones in the garage to where we could not access them. Home Depot could not tell me why the order was cancelled and they could not provide me with any type of compensation or help. This has been 3 weeks of a nightmare dealing with Home Depot.

So I bought an old house that needed a face-lift and decided to do an kitchen remodel to the tune of $35000 I paid in full for a project that wouldn't start for 6 months. An emergency (2 actually) and I had to cancel the work. HD said they would process a refund but it has been 6 weeks and I have nothing. I have called, emailed and am getting no help. My husband ordered a bathroom vanity but let's be honest...it was due on Monday, today is Friday so we are canceling that as well. It is impossible to get ahold of some one at Home Depot Corporate and I don't think I will ever consider abig project through them again!

Frankly, I don't even know why I bother writing reviews on these corporate businesses anymore. No one listens or cares.... I ordered two high end refrigerators online, a $5500 order to be delivered to two houses I own. Filled out first order with street address. After completing the first order, pop up ask if I wanted to order anything else. I filled out the second order and indicated in the notes section that the second delivery would go to the second residence at a different address. On the delivery day, shipper refused to deliver to the second address, even though it's only a mile from the first delivery. Called Home Depot, they refused to authorize the shipment and said I had to cancel order, purchase again, and reschedule with "the correct address". Shipper delivered product to first address and even though they had the second refrigerator in their delivery truck, they refused to deliver it to the second address I provided in the order notes. I wrote the second delivery street address in the notes to clarify my order of two refrigerators at the same time. Why does Home Depot have a notes section if they don't read it? Does anyone there give a damn about actual customer service? Second, why doesn't anyone at Home Depot have the authority to make it right. They give you an 800 number and no actual person is available to talk to. When I finally found another "customer service number", it was text only. Can't talk to an actual person. Home Depot is beyond pathetic. They have a lot learn about customer service and authorizing their employees to do the right thing. Home Depot is the epitome of an indifferent, faceless corporate business that doesn't give a damn about customer service. Shop elsewhere, preferably a local hardware store that still understands what customer service means, not just someone who greets you at the door but actually provides customer service.
