I ordered a set of landscape lights for $300 to be delivered to my house. It never arrived. Home Depot and their shipping company claimed that the item has been delivered, however they offered no proof that the package was dropped off at the correct address. They also claimed that they cannot issue a refund and told me that I had to resolve the matter through PayPal. I was honestly shocked at the complete lack of accountability at this company. I am never ordering anything from them again.

We have been waiting one month for a refrigerator purchased via the Home Depot website. The delivery drivers arrived 30 minutes before their window closed. One of the drivers was injured and said he could not participate in bringing the old refrigerator out, and bringing the new one up. They said they would come back but they didn't. My husband has spent at least three hours on the phone trying to get someone here to finish the installation as the new refrigerator is presently in our garage. Since the delivery drivers are from a third party, there seems to be zero accountability and we will have to wait to get someone here to finish the job. Absolutely atrocious customer service. As soon as Home Depot learned about this they should have prioritized us for the next day. Instead, they bounced us around from number to number for hours, kept us on hold, and we are left high and dry. Home Depot should be fixing this problem for us, instead of us banging our heads against the wall.

Flagstaff AZ Bought 81 boxes of Life proof flooring and had 4 unopened boxes left and HD would not take them back because being past their return date. When I purchased the flooring I was told I could bring back extra flooring They still sell the same item I have spent ~ 50,000 dollars over the years with 4 different houses and on one $4000.00 purchase they can't give back $200 Will not go back.

I went to the Home Depot off of Crestline in Littleton, Colorado this morning to pick up some storage containers. When I walked in and over to customer service, no one acknowledged me so I said "excuse me" and politely asked where I could find the containers. The associate, Kellie, looked annoyed and rudely said "aisle 9" - she said it like I should have known and not to bother her. I said "thank you" and went down that aisle where I only found one of the containers that I was looking for and knew that the website had said that this location had at least seven in stock. So, I went back up to customer service to ask if there had any in the back and a very nice man (I neglected to get his name) said, oh we have then scattered around the store and he very kindly pointed me in the right direction. I made my purchase from him and when I got home, I realized that one of the containers was badly broken. I returned to the store, the nice man was with someone, so I approached this Kellie again and kindly explained the situation and asked if I could exchange the container. She very rudely said the following, "fine, just go get one and get out of my box!" - these were her exact words. I was shocked at her behavior, and having experienced her rudeness earlier in the day, I started to walk away and told her she "didn't have to be so damned rude" (I do not normally use cuss words but I had had enough from her). I had my mask on and honestly didn't see the lines on the floor (wasn't looking) and I didn't think I was "in her box". After retrieving my replacement container, I went back up and asked to speak with her manager. After I explained the unprofessional and rude behavior of her associate, the manager, her name was "Merry", just said "I can't allow anyone within six feet of my associates". Well, I get it, I didn't know I was committing the ultimate Home Depot sin and I didn't know I was within the 6', but Merry wasn't helpful and did not seem to care that her associate had been so rude and unprofessional. Bottom line, I get that there is concern over COVID, and I was wearing my mask and I do respect the "law" of staying 6' apart and I honestly didn't know I was "in her box". But that does not excuse rude and unprofessional behavior. We have been good customers of Home Depot for many years, and I have never been treated so poorly as I was today. Kellie could have kindly and politely responded, but instead, she chose to treat a customer horribly - twice in one day. In my opinion, Kellie and Merry both should lose their jobs over this because they do not function and interact with customers as a Home Depot employee should. Their behavior has no good excuse. There is too much competition for Home Depot to have customers treated in this poor manner. I hope you will take appropriate action - let these two employees go - and hire employees, like the nice man I made my purchases from, so that Home Depot can keep up its status of being helpful and professional.

After having the same washer and dryer for 20+ years I decided to go to my local Home Depot to get a new front loading washer and dryer. I fell in love with a LG set. When purchasing the washer and dryer we decided to open up a Home Depot card to build my husband's credit. We put 1/2 on the card and 1/2 on my debit card. This was on 11/28/20. The sales person who helped us said we couldn't get the washer and dryer until 1/9/21. Though it was over a month away we decided that would be find because we were going to custom build a pedestal for this purchase and I would need a bit to complete that project. We were told that we would get a phone call the day before to give us our delivery window. We never received a call on 1/8/21. I had to call to see what is going on with the delivery. I found out the washer and dryer delivery was now pushed out to 2/17/21! We received no phone call, no heads up. My washer has since quit working so now I do not have a washer. I went to the store to see what we can do or if they have a comparable set I can get sooner. The sales person said we may be able to get the washer and dryer set in white sooner, but couldn't guarantee this either. The sales person who was helping started talking about their MLK sale deals. I found another set, the date we could get this one was 2/5/21 and that was not a guaranteed date. We decided to get a refund and try somewhere else, however the refund is where it gets super fun. This is where everything gets super fantastic. We had already paid off the Home Depot card and they froze the account because it isn't normal for people to make a big purchase and pay it off so quickly. I spoke with a manger and he said he would get me a cash refund due to all the issues we had. I was like great this is fantastic. The manager left and 10 minutes later came back and said he cannot give me the cash refund he said he would. It would all have to happen the way we purchased it. The manager also made a comment he would like to see the corporation just do away with appliance sells because his life would be easier if they didn't have to worry about them. This was not professional. My husband was on the phone forever with the Home Depot card to get it unfrozen to accept the refund. Once he got through they said we have to call back in 2 days to see if the refund went through, but the account will be frozen until the refund pushes through. Once the refund is complete it will be 7-10 business days for us to get a check for the refund. They cannot electronically push the refund back to the bank that paid off the card. The communication is lacking. While we were trying to work out options with the store the lady in the front let us know that there has been so many issues with appliances and people have been waiting 4+ months for their appliances to come into stock. Had we known this we would have shopped elsewhere or went with another manufacturer. The lady also said that the delivery/warehouse personnel are a 3rd party provider and they are hit and miss with the communication to the customers and there is nothing they can do about it. I would love to know why they are even selling items they know will not be in stock for 4+ months. Why they are doing business with 3rd party vendors that are known for lack of communicating with their customers? All of this reflects badly on them. They did nothing to make this purchase right. I am out a washer and dryer, I have to wait a week to 2 weeks for a refund. All of this could have been okay had honest communication taken place. Once we get the refund we will be canceling the credit card. My husband is a contractor who has many times gone to Home Depot multiple times a day to assist his customers. Because there was nothing done to make this right he will be using Lowe's now for this daily construction needs. My suggestions for the store to improve: 1. Be honest with the customers. Let them know that the manufactures are being delayed and the purchases can take months to arrive. 2. Do not have sales for items you do not have available to customers. Most of you customers will need the appliances soon otherwise they would not be shopping for appliances. 3. Do not offer a solution you cannot follow through with. 4. Don't blame all the issues on other companies. The people you do business with will reflect positively or negatively on you. If you continue to get complaints do business with another company that can keep YOUR promises.

I bought recently an appliance for a tenant which required installation. It has been nothing but a nightmare. It is disgraceful and it shows the disregard that Home Depot has for its customers.

Will never purchase or order anything from Home Depot again. Order Chalkboard wallpaper for my daughter for Xmas on Dec 3rd was supposed to receive it on the 8th. Never received it even though the tracking number the provided me stated it was delivered. Contacted FedEx, they said that was an erroneous tracking number and they couldn't locate the package. I was refunded my money and repurchased the product on Dec 13th and was promised to get it by the 18th. Today is Jan 5th and they still dont know where it is. Poor customer service. The customer service rep stated they have plenty in stock and can't explain why they cant ship it.

I ordered online 8/30/2020 a brand new Maytag HE washing machine. it was delivered in Oct 2020 everything was on back order. No problems until 12/29/2020 when the machine started acting up. Called Home Depot told them the prob and needed someone to come look at it.. They told me I had no warranty... it was not true, called a repair shop explained to them and they said I should have a 1 yr warranty.... I DO NOT TRUST HOME DEPOT, they looked everything up and saw when it was ordered, how can they say I don't have a warranty...

Wish I could leave a zero star review. I ordered a washer and Dryer on Dec 20 on their website with a delivery date of Dec 30. I received an email with the receipt and confirmation with the delivery date and my credit card was charged and I even took the day off of work to accept delivery. On Dec 29 the day prior to delivery I received a call from them stating that my order was only a quote and it needed to be completed. What a quote?? when you purchase something online and receive a receipt, a delivery date and your credit card is charged how is that only a quote? I called the phone # they gave me to figure out what happened and they were not able to help me. When I got home from work I looked at my order history to find out that my order was "delivered" I do not know where they delivered it to as I do not have it. I called back Home Depot Customer service and was on the phone with them for 31 minutes 22 seconds and then I was "disconnected" I called back and was on the phone with them for 2 hours 4 minutes and 20 seconds trying to figure out what was going on with my order. I talked with 5 different people including a supervisor and had to explain everything to each person, no one knew what was going on and didn't know why I was transferred to them. The first person I spoke with stated that my washer/dryer is scheduled to be delivered on Jan 8. I asked her why the change as I was not informed she did not have an answer she asked me to hold as she was going to transfer me to someone that could help but instead of transferring me to someone else I was sent to their survey. I called back and talked with person #2 and was told that my order was delivered, I explained it was no delivered and it wasn't even supposed to be delivered until the next day. she transferred me to another person. Person #3 stated that I did not have an order and they could not find when. I stated that I have a receipt and I have talked with other people at Home Depot and they were able to find my order, I was asked to hold on while they looked for my order. I was then transferred to Person#4 and was told that my order was cancelled and if I wanted the washer and dryer I needed to reorder. I told them that it was already paid for so why would I want to reorder. I did ask her if I reordered with her if I would have delivery tomorrow as scheduled she said no. I would have to wait until January 10 for delivery. This was odd since as while I was talking with them on the phone I placed the same washer/dryer in my shopping cart and it stated delivery of January 5. Person #4 kept asking for my credit card # I stated that I would not give it to her and asked for a supervisor after waiting on hold a supervisor finally came on the phone she was very useless and told me that I had to reorder the washer/dryer and dispute the original charge with my credit card company. I did buy these on sale and they are no longer on sale and the supervisor would not even honor the price that i originally paid as the items were not on sale anymore and that the original order I placed and paid for was only a quote (yes they were in stock). I ended up placing my order at Lowes and my new washer and dryer will be delivered and installed tomorrow. I would not recommend purchasing anything at Home Depot especially online, if you must purchase from them go in person at least this way you will be able to leave with the items that you purchase and it won't be just a "quote"

My bad experience came from store #6984 in Brownsville, TX when they had a misleading advertising price for a Dewalt Drill and Impact. The store had a "locking mechanism" with 6 of the same items (Dewalt Drill and Impact Combo) for $149, and when I requested for an associate to retrieve the item to purchase, even he confirmed the price of $149. It was not till I got to the register it rang up for $249, which I then spoke to a Manager (Edward) and he admitted to saying it was a store mistake and could not honor the posted price. I felt it was unfair so I took many photos because it was not just one item but many in a locking position. I may have understood if it was a consumer who may have mistakenly placed it there but the items were locked with security alarm thing which falls toward store mistakes. He then refused to work with the price listed and commented to go online and purchase it instead because he was not going to work with the false misleading price they had posted despite 2 employees had confirmed the $149 price tag. I was very upset and left the store with the consideration of submitting a claim to the BBB for an investigation.

A few days ago we bought a Christmas tree at Home Depot. And what a surprise awaited us and our child today when we saw that dozens of ticks began to crawl out of this tree. That's just terrible!!! When we buy a live Christmas tree, we are looking for a Christmas mood, a holiday for the whole family, gifts under the tree, and instead we get the tears of a child, disappointment and fear from realizing where else the ticks could crawl in the house. It is terribly unprofessional to sell such trees to unsuspecting people and expose people's health to such a risk without any control over the quality of living trees. I'm not talking about the spoiled mood! Be careful when buying live Christmas trees at Home Depot. It is terrible situation! 馃槩I can鈥檛 describe what my child feels now..

Do not order curbside pickup here. I needed two items today. One item was ready for pickup. The other was not despite being available in the store. In the store, I was told I could buy the other item but they couldn't cancel it there because the original order had already started shipping. After getting home, I called Home Depot to cancel. For some reason, they were shipping that item to me and would not cancel the order.

Customer services in this store is awful and I would recommend buyers to heck the price and quantity of items as they sell couple of items in the pack, but when you open there is only one. Cashier scans an item and it is not showed in your receipt. Management is poor and customer services is not appropriate. Stay away from this store at 2350 Cortez Road West Bradenton, FL 34207 路 Cashier Jodi is putting customers on hold for too Long. 路 Agent Wandy is using negative language. 路 Assistant manager Rikki is asking customers to repeat and answer a simple question many times. 路 Assistant manager Rikki and other agents Offer no empathy. 路 Agent Wandy and manager Jouli are rude behavior and bad attitudes. Worst order/delivery experience of my life. I鈥檓 Never shopping Home Depot again. 3 returned orders of damaged product over 5 months of back and forth all for nothing. Countless calls. Multiple support supervisors involved that just quit responding to my emails week after week. Constant lack of communication on deliveries. Orders left on doorstep or driveway with no notice. Complete disaster from start to finish and now I鈥檓 done. I鈥檓 confident Home Depot can not make a large order delivery.
