Washing machine rubber split , the guy came and looked told me a week and then cancelled on me , then showed uk a week later , said he’d fixed it , smoke and burning rubber smell bellowing out the machine , they somehow managed to give me a new problem !!! Cannot get anyone to listen to me . Huge pile of washing another trip to laundrette , what am I paying £8 a month for ??!!! Trying to tell them I have an emergency and they want to tell me about offers !!!!!”
“Hoover have been absolutely awful. My washer dryer is 11 months old needs a new rotor and a new PCP board I’ve been waiting since July 27 th for a repair and am still waiting”
“My Hoover induction hob has been malfunctioning for the past 4 weeks. It will turn itself off or up to maximum heat, which has almost burn my kitchen down and certainly burnt my food if left for a few minutes unattended. Serious safety issue to my home. I logged this with hoover for repair in thier 'ten year warranty', 4 engineer visits later and it's still not fixed. I requested a call back from a manager but now 4 days later no call!!!!! It seems Hoover/ Candy just do not care AVOID HOOVER CANDY APPLIANCES”

“I called but after 30 min listening to garbled piano music, the call got dropped. I tried chatting, no good there either. It seems Hoover goes out if their way to NOT provide customer service. Seriously doubt you'd be able to help anyway since there are no replacement parts available for broken handle on my WH20200. It seems it's made of toy-grade plastic to be so weak and it has not been exposed to UV light or used much at all.. maybe 5 times.”
“Do not buy Hoover. Washer dryer has died after 33 days. They will only repair and parts are not available. They have told me I have to wait 3 weeks. Customer service is rubbish. I’d give zero stars if I could.”

“Hoover Candy would not honour their 10 year parts warranty. Made things very difficult for me when trying to claim against this. Made me wait 2 months for resolution and then offered me a washing machine at almost retail price as compensation. Do not buy any Hoover Candy products. If things go wrong you will not get any service from these awful people. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!”
“We purchased a Hoover Washing Machine on 5th December 2023. Model Number: H6WPB610BCR8-80. Serial Number: 3101987523386117. On 22 April 2024 we reported a FAULT with the machine. A part in the drum has come off and we cannot use the machine. We purchased from Currys but was passed to the manufacturer Hoover. They opened a CASE - Ref 15545816, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. They scheduled an Engineer to come out to repair as per the warranty terms but they did not turn up. I called Hoover service after sales today to be told they don't know when they can schedule an engineer. WE WILL NEVER BUY HOOVER AGAIN. What awful customer service and after sales. We have been left with a broken washing machine and they are not scheduling a repair. We will have to take matters further. When purchasing what you think is a trusted brand you do not expect to receive such a terrible experience.”
“My fridge freezer was purchased in 2021. The evaporator fan has failed three time now. The first time was within a few months of purchase.
We were sold a faulty appliance that has been constantly unreliable. Hoover don't take responsibility, they just pass the issue onto domestic and general who we took out insurance with. The fridge freezer should of been replaced when it was still under guarantee. I will never purchase another appliance from them. Awful company and awful appliances.”
“I bought a vacuum cleaner in Greece just over a year ago , it stopped working after around 6 months . Took me weeks to get a response from customer services then they told me to take it into a repair service . After having it there for weeks they told me there was dust in the motor and a small crack in the bagless compartment. !! They repaired one part under warranty charged 40 euros to clean the motor . After one month no suction again . I have been trying to contact the service department via e mail since January and had no response . Tried phoning the numbers given some do not exist and the one that does gives repeated selections in greek which I am unable to decipher. Worst experience ever after owning the hoover now for 15 months it has only worked for seven !”

“Reported faulty dryer on 03 Apr. Engineer visited on 05 Apr, confirmed parts required for repair were on stock and ordered however he confirmed he would not be available until 22 Apr and hoped Hoover/Candy (H/C) would assign the job to another engineer. Called H/C on 08 Apr and was told parts not yet dispatched but they were on order and would be sent to the same engineer who ordered them. I explained the position but it was clear no progress would be made so I simply advised I would check back later in the week. Today 10 Apr received a text message from H/C stating that the parts are "still out of stock" which I find somewhat doubtful and smacks of a stalling tactic until the original engineer is available again. I should point out that from experience the original engineer responsible for our area is excellent however it is a pity that the H/C appears to fall far short on the service level.”
“We have extended warranty with Domestic & General. The dryer plug melted in the socket while being used. We were given a date for the candy engineer to come out. So reported fault 30 Dec 23 candy engineer due out 8th Jan 24. This happened and we were told it was the lead and plug. He would order and we would see him in around 7 days. After untold appointments and all of them being cancelled because computer error or broken down vans or engineers being sick. Today 25th March 24 we were given a time slot 0806-1006 hrs guess what appointment missed. Phoned Candy 5 times only to be told to phone Demestic & General and complain which we did and they have now wrote off the dryer and we can pick a replacement. We will never purchase an Candy Hoover items again. This has been the worst after service ever poor poor poor.”
