“Don't waste your money. Ordered a CANDY CHW74WX 75 cm Gas Hob in Nov 2023. it didn't get fitted until December at which point we realised that the grills that the pans sit on were completely misaligned due to their flimsiness. Rang Candy and got passed around over and over for about 30mins until Ref Shaina ordered new parts which were supposed to arrive the following Tue. 1 month later nothing. Called again today, only to be told nothing had actually been ordered and an engineer visit needs to take place before this can even be done! No manager to speak to, no process to escalate this, no one gives a monkey. Ref Mia re-raised the issue and kept apologising, which is no help at all. Save your sanity and fork out an extra £100 if you have to go with a decent company that manufactures decent products, not flimsy rubbish... I'm very angry as not been able to use 4 of the 5 rings since installation. In addition, the 2 back burners make a whistling noise when on the lowest settings. If you put a wok on the middle ring, no large pots fit next to it so do a stir fry but you can't cook the rice or noodles at the same time. A totally useless piece of kit.”
“Don't ever buy this brand and don't take out domestic and general cover. So much to say but after months of fault repairs that failed and a damaged kitchen floor due to botched repairs. £1600 to have a new floor and I'm going to claim from them. Sent hours on phone being cut off etc. New one came 27th November was broke by 28th November. Another engineer came said need new one (again) spent 2.5hrs in 1 day trying to sort it. Complaint team called apologising and new one to come today between 230pm and 630pm. Gets a text saying not coming and to rebook. For 22nd Dec, if it turns up I would of been without a fridge for almost 2 months.”
“The worst company, rubbish customer service. Washing machine broke down within months of buying. They referred us to a repair company that never answer. It has been two weeks and we have no washing machine. I am pretty sure it won’t be 4 weeks before the machine is fixed. I wish I could give them less than 1 stars they worth nothing. I asked the customer service rep to put herself in my shoes having no washing machine for over two weeks her respond was why don’t you buy I new washing machine, absolutely disgusting.”
“I was sold a washing machine with what the technician told me was a known fault with Hoover.
After 2 technicians coming out to inspect the machine. I was told the concrete block had came detached from the drum. Smashing the outer case of the machine and the drum but that the would replace to drum but not the case as the case doesn't affect the working of the machine.
6 months old and they were to happy to leave me with a machine with dents all in the front of it.
I was then told that if the machine wasn't repaired within 28 I could get a code for a replacement machine.
Needless to say 28 days came round and the machine hasn't been fixed. So I rang to get a code only to be told that this could take up to another 5 days. For a code really !!!!!!
Also on top of all this the 2 technicians that came out to inspect the machine found it acceptable to pull out the push back under the counter top the washing machine with smash bits of concrete all over the floor cause damage to my laminate floor.
DO NOT BUY HOOVER PRODUCTS

“I will never, ever buy a Hoover product again! I bought a washing machine that needed replacing after two weeks. That should have been a warning sign. It hasn't been a very good machine and after two years it completely broke. Out if warranty is all we get faced with and we have to wait for the repair. 30 days so far! Customer service what customer service. I asked for my concerns to be escalated to Complaints, customer service reply was they also deal with complaints! No hope but Hoover never again!”
“Dont ever buy this product
I regret buying this washing machine. Within 1 year of purchase i have called out 4 times for repair. 1st the door was leaking the metal bit round the machine door was rusted, the engineer came and lied he fixed it instead he turned the metal spring around still rusted. I had to call out again for the same issue it wast fixed they turned it around again and also the machine stop spinning. They came and said the machine needs a part and left. For 2 weeks. O one called or emailed me. I have had to call them again they lied that I cancelled the job they had to raise that I refused repair after they explained to me the machine is reparable or open another job. The engineer came out again removed some parts from the machine and said he will order but got no reply. Uptill now i have not heard nothing from them. I reported 4th october 2023 today is 18th November nothing had been done. Called and I escalated it so i will await the result. Very awful service”

Washer Drier Damages Clothes & Disgusting Customer Service. I advise you to purchase from another Brand.
I wanted to express my disgust in the customer service I have just experience by your Team.
When trying to raise a compliant I was then told there is no complaints procedure, the operator was not willing to provide the details of the Manager on shift and I was told any emails would be reviewed by the same Team and I would not receive any more assistance. The operator was both very rude and unhelpful.
This is my first time buying a hoover product, I hate the product I have purchased, it has ruined numerous clothe items with but stains and tears. I cannot afford to keep purchasing damaged clothes and I should not be left in the situation where I have a washing machine which I am scared to use because of the damage it causes.
Following on from Hoover's response, where they "requested an opportunity to make this right". This opportunity was for me to buy a refurbished machine! What an absolute insult! To top it off this email came from the individual who posted the response. Showing the response on Trust polit was just for PR. Based on my experience of the company and its products, I recommend you spend your hard earn money else where! Read their history of bad customer service and faulty products.”

Hoover H Wash 300, bought 18 months ago had to call an engineer out who told us it was the control board but they had none in stock and would be about 10 days to order. After waiting for over a month (with no washing machine) hoover finally told me that they could not get the part and wouldn't be trying to. They offered me a new washing machine for extra £190. There is a big Red sticker on the front that says 10 years parts warranty. This surely has to be false advertising!!! Steer clear of hoover the warranty means nothing. Unfortunately looks like I will have to buy the replacement as we are desperate for some sort of fix.”

It Randomly shrinks clothes. Engineers come out and can’t find faults, so you have to pay the all costs even when the appliances are still in warranty.
Customer services are very unhelpful. Would never buy Hoover or candy appliances or recommend them.
I am in the building industry and cover lots of maintenance on Properties and work with over 350 companies and property developers and I never have these problems with other brands.so we will not use any of there appliances or products with any of our clients again. Very poor

“EVERYTHING! To start with a customer call handler (22/9/23) not processing the job sheet correctly leading to an engineer not visiting on what we thought would be 27/9/23. An engineer visit happened (2/10/23) when it was confirmed that a part was needed.
It has gone downhill since then. NO COMMUNICATION. NOT ABLE TO SCHEDULE AN EXPECTED ENGINEER VIST!
We still have not had an engineer visit ‘as the part has not been delivered to engineers lock up’.
I was advised that as call out was under the 28 or 30 day terms and conditions for a repair (bearing in mind the operatives gave different timescales).
We were offered on 16/10/23 an ‘exchange authorisation number’ with an aim of resolution to this situation. We agreed by return email to the offer in the email.
Today (17/10/23) I received a text and email confirming an engineer visit on 24/10/23 I have declined this offer as we have accepted In writing the ‘exchange authorisation number’ and await this!

“Our Washing Machine is 9 months into Warranty. 3 weeks we waited for parts and an engineer to fit them. Engineer came out yesterday without parts and without a clue that he had to fit any! We complained and the issue was 'escalated' internally with a 48 hour lead time! This is ridiculous. Meanwhile I have washing piling up and loath to pay the high cost of a laundry service. Very shabby customer service. We are no where near having our washing machine fixed than we were 3 weeks ago. Will never buy a Candy product again.”
“Dishwasher broke after 5-6months. I reported it 2 months ago and have had 4 engineers out since and the problem has still not been fixed. The engineers themselves stated that my dishwasher model has a known problem and that these machine are not factory tested. Customer service over the phone are hopeless and they do not communicate anything to the customer unless you contact them. It's been unnecessarily stressful especially with a newborn. I will never be buying a hoover/candy product again even if they offered the product to me free! What a joke!”
“Firstly let me start by saying that my rating for the company is 0 stars and not the one I gave in order to allow me to write this review, AVOID this company at all cost, my journey with these started way back in April when the dishwasher I bought,broke after just 5 months, the advisor I spoke with was rude and I quote his reply as “that’s life “ in the solutions he offered, a new dishwasher was finally delivered after many phone calls ,only to not have the correct fitting, the delivery driver could not continue the fitting as they only have a limited amount of tools I was then advised to get myself a carpenter to do the job which I did costing myself 120 pounds even though my dishwasher was still under warranty that was back in April I have still have not received any money or an emails regarding my Claim I have contacted customer service ,there only advice is to email again

“I have called out Candy twice now to repair my washer dryer. I have been sent a repair time and both times they have failed to show up on this time slot. This has led to me missing work and costing me money, as I have stayed off work within the time slots given to me. Very poor company who I won't be dealing with again, with my future appliances.
