“Have ordered 8 pr's over the past 2 years with only 1 pair unwearable because of rubbing/blisters. I do ALOT of walking & the right shoes make all the difference. Hotters are my go to shoes - feels like bedroom slippers with the support of new sneakers yet look stylish & expensive. Wait til they have sales or have a coupon & try them then. If you work on your feet you will love these.”

“Went shop 7 days ago , very helpful, bought some lovely boots, service excellent. Didn't have my size in the colour I wanted so placed and order payed. The shop assistant informed me that they would be delivered to my home address in 5 working days. Money of course taken out of my account immediately, however still awaiting shoes. Phone to find out what's happened and informed that they will de sent out today and to expect to receive them in 3 to 5 working days. Hotter your delivery service is rubbish.”

“Very disappointed with Hotter, ordered online on the 18 September pair of sandals for my upcoming holiday this weekend 30September, asured that they will be delivered at Cambridge shop in 7 days...But they weren't! Not to mention that I live 40 miles away! So I cancelled the sandals, now it will take 14days for my money to be payed back in my PayPal account!...”

“I bought two pairs of Hotter shoes and a pair of sandals from a charity shop which were boxed,brand new and still had their labels on. The soles of all three pairs disintegrated the first time I wore them. I have since learned from the internet that scores of other people have encountered the same problem. I am sorely disappointed with the quality of these very expensive shoes and I am glad that I didn't pay the full price from Hotter.”

“Have had many pairs of Hotter shoes in the last 10 years some worn every day some with changing seasons and some only occasionally worn but soles split, even when leather uppers in good condition not really good enough as they are expensive shoes and prices keep rising”

“Terrible shoes - soles crumbled away just trying them on and walking across the room - my son emailed them and arranged for them to phone me - but they did not do that nor have they even tried to sort the problem out, - expensive shoes that were a complete waste of money - will not be buying again - should be ashamed of themselves - have just read that someone else had the same problem so its just not me. Beware - !!!”

“Cheap, nasty & EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE new generic insoles now used by Hotter which are wrinkly & creased before you even get your new shoes home causing such pain within an hour of putting them on. They also look amateurishly-unfinished & the top layer separates from the rest of the insole & wrinkles & creases as it is only held in place by some isolated of ridged stitching which digs into your feet causing an excruciating burning sensation. Hotter will need to remove the word "comfort" from their blurb as these insoles are absolutely dire & are just another nail in Hotter's coffin as their quality & workmanship have plummeted in the last 2 years with shoddy products that fall apart within months.”

“Ordering either on line or in the Chester store is quick and efficient. Last week I ordered shoes on line and they arrived promptly. I was not sure if a half size up would gave been better. I rang Chester store and said I was reluctant to order another pair whilst hanging on to the first pair for comparison because I did not want two payments out if my account. The store were great, saying they would order the larger pair, let me know when they were in and then I could visit the store with my online pair and try both for fit. Great Customer Service.”

“Terrible customer service. Shoes didn't arrive and when I rang after waiting for over a month, was told they were out of stock and the person I spoke to in customer services hung up on me. Dreadful, will never buy from Hotter shoes again.”

“Hi For over 10 years, I have been wearing slip on Crocks, due to a condition that causes my feet to swell. This meant I could not find a shoe size wide enough to be able to wear comfortably, without it hurting and causing more swelling. Even in the crocks, I had to wear a size 6 although my true size is only a 4. People used to laugh at me, because I never wore anything else. A few weeks ago, someone told me about Hotter and how they cater for all kinds of shoe sizes and widths. I thought I would give it a go and my family took me there. I walked in, looking at all the lovely styles of shoes, that I have never been able to wear. A lady came and greeted me and asked if she could help. Still in anticipation, as to whether I would be able to find a pair to fit, I told her my plight. She then assured me she would be able to find the shoes I wanted in the right size to fit comfortably. When she came back and I tried the shoes on, I was ecstatic, not only did they fit me, they were also a size 4. I then got adventurous and picked four other styles to try. There was a series of widths, so if one did not fit, then there was always another and another and another. Poor shop assistant really earn't her money. They also had a sale on, so that was an added bonus. My family treated me to the four pairs of shoes that I liked. When I got home, I tried them on again. I couldn't believe, I was I able to wear Dolly Shoes, after all these years. I hadn't worn them since I was 12. Then a few days later, the proof of the pudding was in the eating. I was taken out for my Birthday and wore my Dolly shoes. Usually when you go a long time without wearing shoes with backs to them, you get a blister. Well I am pleased to say, I didn't have any problems at all. They are made with such lovely good quality leather outside and materiel inside, So a very big thank you to my dear friend Carol B, for telling me about Hotter and thank You LORD, for answering my prayer. I am now totally delivered from Crocks.”

“Ordered online and the site would not accept payment and Hotter blamed my bank. My bank confirmed they approved the transactions spent over 2 hours on calls with them over a few days. Tried a second order a week later and all confirmed only to get an email to say one item is out of stock. Called and asked if they could trace one at a store and I could collect from my local store but was told they do not do that. Overall appalling customer service. Pity as the shoes are quite good.”
