“Very comfy but the soles have split after only a few months wear. Upper are perfect but shoes now in the bin. Very disappointed for such expensive shoes. Will not buy again”

“Have been trying to return shoes as Hermes label supplied would not work. First phone call was told it would be put in post, second call label would be emailed as speaking . Have now emailed and still nothing. First time for ordering but never again with this service.”

“Have ordered 8 pr's over the past 2 years with only 1 pair unwearable because of rubbing/blisters. I do ALOT of walking & the right shoes make all the difference. Hotters are my go to shoes - feels like bedroom slippers with the support of new sneakers yet look stylish & expensive. Wait til they have sales or have a coupon & try them then. If you work on your feet you will love these.”

“Went shop 7 days ago , very helpful, bought some lovely boots, service excellent. Didn't have my size in the colour I wanted so placed and order payed. The shop assistant informed me that they would be delivered to my home address in 5 working days. Money of course taken out of my account immediately, however still awaiting shoes. Phone to find out what's happened and informed that they will de sent out today and to expect to receive them in 3 to 5 working days. Hotter your delivery service is rubbish.”

“Very disappointed with Hotter, ordered online on the 18 September pair of sandals for my upcoming holiday this weekend 30September, asured that they will be delivered at Cambridge shop in 7 days...But they weren't! Not to mention that I live 40 miles away! So I cancelled the sandals, now it will take 14days for my money to be payed back in my PayPal account!...”

“I bought two pairs of Hotter shoes and a pair of sandals from a charity shop which were boxed,brand new and still had their labels on. The soles of all three pairs disintegrated the first time I wore them. I have since learned from the internet that scores of other people have encountered the same problem. I am sorely disappointed with the quality of these very expensive shoes and I am glad that I didn't pay the full price from Hotter.”

“Have had many pairs of Hotter shoes in the last 10 years some worn every day some with changing seasons and some only occasionally worn but soles split, even when leather uppers in good condition not really good enough as they are expensive shoes and prices keep rising”

“Terrible shoes - soles crumbled away just trying them on and walking across the room - my son emailed them and arranged for them to phone me - but they did not do that nor have they even tried to sort the problem out, - expensive shoes that were a complete waste of money - will not be buying again - should be ashamed of themselves - have just read that someone else had the same problem so its just not me. Beware - !!!”

“Cheap, nasty & EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE new generic insoles now used by Hotter which are wrinkly & creased before you even get your new shoes home causing such pain within an hour of putting them on. They also look amateurishly-unfinished & the top layer separates from the rest of the insole & wrinkles & creases as it is only held in place by some isolated of ridged stitching which digs into your feet causing an excruciating burning sensation. Hotter will need to remove the word "comfort" from their blurb as these insoles are absolutely dire & are just another nail in Hotter's coffin as their quality & workmanship have plummeted in the last 2 years with shoddy products that fall apart within months.”

“Ordering either on line or in the Chester store is quick and efficient. Last week I ordered shoes on line and they arrived promptly. I was not sure if a half size up would gave been better. I rang Chester store and said I was reluctant to order another pair whilst hanging on to the first pair for comparison because I did not want two payments out if my account. The store were great, saying they would order the larger pair, let me know when they were in and then I could visit the store with my online pair and try both for fit. Great Customer Service.”

“Terrible customer service. Shoes didn't arrive and when I rang after waiting for over a month, was told they were out of stock and the person I spoke to in customer services hung up on me. Dreadful, will never buy from Hotter shoes again.”
