I find Hotter shoes well made and I can use my insoles in them as they have removable insoles. Be warned though that returning them promptly when unsuitable can result in two weeks before they reach Hotter through Hermes. Then a further two weeks for a refund. This far exceeds any other company I order from.

I bought a pair of Charmaine shoes in navy blue. I tried to buy them last year but they had sold out so I was very excited to finally get some. They are simply the most comfortable pair of shoes I have every owned, but there is a but!! They are suede (I wanted blue and blue was only available in suede). I wear them to work about twice a week and after about 4-5 wearings, the heel was starting to wear. I have emailed the customer service team who asked me to send them back. I used their labels, took the shoes to a Hermes pick up point, and that was 13 days ago now. According to the tracking they are still in a hub waiting to be returned. I have spoken to customer service today who now tell me that they will exchange the shoes but the black leather charmaines which I have requested are no longer available in my size. There are few alternatives, none that I particularly like or that are in leather rather than suede. They are saying they will refund me but I need to send the "free" scarf that I was sent with the shoes back or else they will deduct £25 off the cost of the shoes!!! I haven't got the scarf. I gave it to a friend. So now my choices are to accept less money for shoes that I have worn may be 8 times, or to accept a pair of shoes in exchange that I don't want. At £69 per pair, they are not cheap and the customer service is shockingly bad. I will be taking this further. A real shame as I loved those shoes!

Customer services went out of their way to help me. They recognised my needs and tried to locate the most suitable pair of shoes to accomodate my requirements. They operate a policy where one can get replacements and so I was able to try different styles until the correct one for me was reached. The end result was a good fit and I hope will last me a little while. Thank you Hotter!

On June 23, 2017 I returned two pair of shoes to the Jamaica, NY address. One "pair" consisted of two left shoes, and the other pair didn't fit. I asked Hotter's to send a right and a left shoe for the first pair, and I ordered another pair in the place of the second.I heard nothing. I emailed a complaint some time in late summer. I heard nothing. Now I have no choice but to register a negative review and I'll not be ordering from Hotter's again.

Shoes might be ok but can't say much positive about returns. I sent 2 pairs of shoes back on 5 October and still waiting for refund on 7 November. 3 phone calls and still waiting for refund, very very poor, will not buy online again from this company

My wife has had the much reported failure of several pairs of Hotter shoes where the soles have started to dissintergrate. When raised with Hotter we were told it was because she had not worn them enough and that because some were over 5 years old they would deteriate the way they had. I think if this is the case Hotter should have a use by date on their shoes. A promised return label never arrived. As some of the shoes were presents from friends she did not have receipts. Needless to say no more Hotters for her or her friends.

I recently had some old Hotter shoes with soles which had disintegrated. It was very obviously not due to normal wear but a fault in the material. I took them into the store. The shoes were replaced without question even though they were over 5 years old and I no longer had the receipt. It was a very good service and much appreciated 😀 👣

Ordered two pairs of shoes for forthcoming trip involving a lot of walking. Rang up to find out why they had not arrived, and advised of a computer problem in their warehouse. Why could they have not emailed their customers to inform them of this problem and delay??? However told they would make mine a priority..despatch.......well that is a joke, still not arrived. Hotter do not care about customer relations, they would not even send them out priority mail as a gesture of good will. . Still waiting on the shoes... wonder when they will arrive. They are. not a good company to use, and will not again.

A pair of Hotter boots I bought 12+ years ago have just come to the end of their life. They have been worn constantly during their lifetime. I have just bought a new pair of Hotter boots and they arrived today. I am so pleased with the colour, the fit and the style that I have ordered a second pair in a different colour. May they enjoy a long life with me!

The shoes are fine,I bought two pairs on a one half price offer,I returned a pair costing £79.00 but only had a refund after two weeks of £42.00 when I queried this I was told I had forfeited the offer by returning one pair so the difference taken is what the other pair would have cost at full price,I had not read these terms so beware if you fall foul of this offer.

Very comfy but the soles have split after only a few months wear. Upper are perfect but shoes now in the bin. Very disappointed for such expensive shoes. Will not buy again

Have been trying to return shoes as Hermes label supplied would not work. First phone call was told it would be put in post, second call label would be emailed as speaking . Have now emailed and still nothing. First time for ordering but never again with this service.

Have ordered 8 pr's over the past 2 years with only 1 pair unwearable because of rubbing/blisters. I do ALOT of walking & the right shoes make all the difference. Hotters are my go to shoes - feels like bedroom slippers with the support of new sneakers yet look stylish & expensive. Wait til they have sales or have a coupon & try them then. If you work on your feet you will love these.

Went shop 7 days ago , very helpful, bought some lovely boots, service excellent. Didn't have my size in the colour I wanted so placed and order payed. The shop assistant informed me that they would be delivered to my home address in 5 working days. Money of course taken out of my account immediately, however still awaiting shoes. Phone to find out what's happened and informed that they will de sent out today and to expect to receive them in 3 to 5 working days. Hotter your delivery service is rubbish.

Very disappointed with Hotter, ordered online on the 18 September pair of sandals for my upcoming holiday this weekend 30September, asured that they will be delivered at Cambridge shop in 7 days...But they weren't! Not to mention that I live 40 miles away! So I cancelled the sandals, now it will take 14days for my money to be payed back in my PayPal account!...

I bought two pairs of Hotter shoes and a pair of sandals from a charity shop which were boxed,brand new and still had their labels on. The soles of all three pairs disintegrated the first time I wore them. I have since learned from the internet that scores of other people have encountered the same problem. I am sorely disappointed with the quality of these very expensive shoes and I am glad that I didn't pay the full price from Hotter.
