£6.45 deducted from refund - I had some excellent trainers bought few years ago from Hotter. Bought another pair same size but this time did not fit. On returning found £6.45 deducted from refund. Could not get through to Customer service so sent e.mail. No response. Needless to say I will not be buying from this company again.

This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had; the indifference to meeting a reasonable solution was astounding. I purchased 5 pair of shoes hoping that at least three would fit, but decided to try two and returned the rest. With the rave claims of comfort fit, I believed these shoes would relieve some of the pain from arthritis and fallen arches. The first pair I wore, unfortunately outside, once and my foot pain was excruciating. I called and explained the situation and informed them I was even afraid to try the second pair would it be possible to return both. Unfortunately since I wore the one shoe once, they would not make an exception. This was during the sale buy one and get the second free. They then informed me the other shoe I could not return because it was the free one, and to give it away. I asked why it couldn't be returned for at least half price - one would think there would be some compensation. No Nothing; I would definitely not recommend buying from Hotter.

I tried on shoes and ordered a different colour. The assistant Diane took my payment but had difficulty getting my receipt. Said she would email it. I asked her to take my phone no but she refused. Apparently the order was voided after I left the shop. She did not contact me. I've been waiting for shoes that I expressed told her I wanted by this weekend. I've only just discovered my order was cancelled because I phoned to find out why I had not been emailed a receipt. Customer service seems to have died over the past year or so. I won't take my custom to any shop that does not respect their customers

Returns are near impossible! When the snows my wife ordered finally arrived, and didn’t fit, are trying to get a shipping label we finally were told the shoes were never received. BEWARE!

With my recent order I am experiencing the same problems as others: expensive shipping charges, long waits to receive shoes (two weeks), difficulties getting a return label, constant busy signal on customer service line. This is very disappointing because I already have two pair of Hotter shoes, and they are among the best shoes I have ever owned.

I always considered Hotter to be a great company. Little by little, the styles they were featuring began not to seem personally suitable... that is, all EXCEPT their Shake Shoes, of which I have purchased (over many years) quite a few--some even for my elderly mother. Recently, I ordered 2 Shake Shoes in 2 different colors. Because of an area on my left foot, I decided to order MY SIZE in Wide instead of Standard. When they both arrived, I noticed that they were much longer than the Shake pair of Shoes (in the same style) that I had been wearing and trying to replace. I decided to wear one of the pairs in order to see if thicker socks or some other change would make them fit, but it didn't work. Then, when I contacted the company, I was informed that I could return just the pair that was never worn. It was at that time that I spent 2 days attempting to gain online access to a Return Label. I entered the information given to me by a Hotter staff member, and saw a message that there was "no record" of my order! Then, I looked again at the Return Form that came with the shoes and copied a website address that turned out not to exist! All this time I thought I was the only one having these problems... Today, I found out that that is not true! The latest comment I read in an e-mail sent to me says that by ordering the Wide (instead of the Standard Width), the LENGTH of the SHOES had to increase! I'm trying to "wrap" my brain around that concept, and I am puzzled! Hopefully, I will receive an online Return Label from them soon so that I can send back the one $75 pair of shoes!

be careful with the shipping charges [at least $12 .to receive [in small print ] and outrageous charge to return .WE spent over $20 to send back a pair of shoes that did not fit [original charge about $85 ;thus over 20% of the price of the shoes !!! Calling doesnt help They are shooting themselves in the foot by not being responsive to their customers .They should read how many people are complaining about your hassle return !!!!

DO NOT DEAL WITH HOTTER SHOES! I had sworn them off a few years back, the relented and tried once more. They are nightmarish. It takes weeks to get the shoes. I tried them on, do not fit. I immediately went online to return, and the website does not recognize the order number. I'll get my money back, but I am completely done with this company.

Had a pair of Tone shoes brown/bronze colour leather, the soles have fallen apart. Perfectly good leather shoe which I can longer wear because of the soles. What a waste. Will have to find another outlet. Very disappointed, some of these shoes are not cheap.

Hotter are a great example of how to lose customers . Charge you to return shoes AND then charge you for the original postage. Buy a pair of shoes for £29 and you get £22 refunded. Total con. Really really poor customer service , let’s hope they go into liquidation and soon.

I have always loved the comfort of Hotter shoes. I couldn't wait for the sale to get a pair I particularly wanted. They sent me the wrong size. I immediately sent them back and said that I did not believe that I should have to pay for postage as the fault was theirs. It took over a month to get a refund and then they deducted $19 for postage. Based on other reviews, I suspect calling will not help. It is a shame their service is so poor! I will not buy their shoes again

If you plan to wear them dont buy any of the Hotter range. If you wear them a lot the soles fall apart, if you wear them intermittently the soles fall apart, if you save them for a special occasion the soles fall apart. The company will tell you it’s your fault as you’ve worn them too much or not at all. The problem is in the synthetic soles, they don’t have the longevity of other manufacturers and Hotter won’t admit it.

Well, I should have read these reviews before ordering! If I could give NO stars...I would. I ordered my boots and have been waiting confirmation of shipping or ANYTHING, but nothing. I reached out to customer service via email. The phone number from the US doesn't work. They charged my credit card the full amount...but I have no product. I guess I will have to put a claim in with my credit card. Very unfortunate.

If only I could put no stars. I bought a pair of trainers for my wife's Xmas pressy. The size Hotter suggested did not fit so I returned them for a full refund. Hotter received them back on the 8th January 2020. After 2 weeks I heard nowt so sent an email to Hotter CS, still nowt, tried phoning CS and again nowt....yet phone their order line and they answer. So I questioned my return to be told 21 days minimum and I would not get a full refund. From £37.95 spend they would refund £32.50. They were going to take off delivery to me and the return cost back to them. Which is against UK distance trading law. Fortunately I paid with Paypal so I opened a case with them. After 9 days, and no word from Hotter to me or Paypal, Paypal have just today, 29th Jan, refunded me the full £37.95. I certainly aint shopping there again and I would advise others not to as well.

I have been waiting almost 3 weeks for a refund. Despite sending an email to let them know my shoes had been returned to them and signed for by Royal Mail. Was told I would have to wait at least 21 days before they would look into it. Surely this is not customer service? They don't answer the phone either. May have to make a claim through my credit card. Really annoying

I ordered a pair of shoes and they have not been delivered, nor have I received a shipping notification. This is part the time they stated for delivery. I followed up with two emails to their customer service, which they never responded to, and tried calling their customer service phone but no one answered. They did charge me the day of the order.

I have always loved Hotter shoes - until I got the Belgravia boots MADE IN INDIA, glued, minimal stitching, bizarre sizing - and yes they charge to return even when they have misrepresented the boots as made in England with high quality leather and stitching

Hotters sent me 2 pairs of shoes in a very wrong size and asking them for a return label was a long struggle. They received them back on December 21 - USPS # 9202 3901 0078 4700 0007 6452 06. Since then, I called their 1-8660378-7811 numerous times, and also e-mailed. No response of any kind, and they didn't return my $140 - I called Visa yesterday, January 20.

Cannot get a return label for boots that do not fit. Cannot call because of no response. Cannot go to return website because it states that it does not recognize my order number but I am staring at it and made no mistake filling it in. Hotter shoes is the worst I want my money back. They have lost a good customer because this is it.
