I went into hof in croydon to buy my son a pair of jeans, the staff member in the mens department not too sure on her name, Anam or Anan. She was a bubbly nice individual who made it easier to buy him some jeans. She went around to find his sizes, alternative brands that he could also try on. She was very patient with him and listened to exactly what he wanted,even though in the end me and my son left with a tracksuit.

(05.11.2016) Was looking at suits and coats in HoF menswear Oxford St. Was extremely happy to be attended by Doi who was both cheerful and helpful as well as knowledgeable and professional. Simply excellent service!

Had an amazing facial from Neia at Sheido today. She is amazing, very professional and friendly. I will absolutely be recommending her to all my friends and family. Thank you for making me feel fabulous x

Bought a Ted Baker Bag for £189.00 had it for 5 months and the handle split, I took it back with the receipt to HOF,the assistant told me there was nothing she could after all this time!! I asked to speak with her manager who came out to see me and after much huffing and puffing said "ok I'll send it to ted bakers and see what they do about it" 2 weeks and 3 days later I got a phone call from HOF "Sorry but Ted Baker has. Returned the bag and aren't going to do anything as its wear and tear come and collect your bag"I went to the store to collect the bag it was in the exact same place it was in when I left it with them,even the paper inside hadn't moved I asked if I could see the notes from TB about it being 'wear and tear' she said she didn't have any? I told her I would phone TB myself when I got home She then said "Oh we never sent the bag back,we just sent a photo of it"I was fuming!What a bunch of lying phony crooks they are, this wasn't just one sales person but 3 sales assistants all backing each other up .I Am now taking action through the small claims courts

Placed order for wallpaper 2nd October. Never received it was order again by customer service still didn't arrive. after roughly 25 emails and 6phone calls the matter is still not sorted. Shocking customer service

Order never arrived. No response from House of Fraser to online enquiries. Eventually after three phone calls to customer service and a request that they escalate the lack of delivery to a complaint they eventually came back and said the parcel had been lost in transit and that because it was lost they would refund the purchase cost (really generous!). No customer service from House of Fraser, I will never order online with them again.

Never ever will I purchase anything from House of Fraser. Despite photographs and catalogue of damage to items in a poorly packed, thin box, the Customer Services were totally useless. Denying receiving photographs and returning emails they are really shocking. Report these fraudsters to all the monitoring bodies that you can. Shocking support from Joe Collins the Complaints Manager, supposed Executive! Keep away from this store and shop in M and S or anywhere else where they go that extra mile to correct problems. If you have a problem with House of Fraser you are on your own. Fight your corner folk and never give up ~ show them up!

Went into Reading branch with my Daughter to purchase a handbag for her birthday. Had £200 to spend. Sales assistant looked at us as though we were the dirt on the bottom of her shoe and although we were showing an interest in a particular item she showed no interest in serving us. We left and went into John Lewis where the assistant was more than happy to help and we made our purchase

Purchased two sofas from HOF costing what to me is a lot of money. After a very heavy sales pitch also paid £200 for an all singing all dancing insurance policy. Beware as the sales staff must be on some sort of commission as this policy is of little use to me. Complained about this being missold but HOF not interested at all. I did get a phone call from a nice lady but absolutely nothing came of it. I didn't complain at the time about the huge delivery problems etc but now wish I had. Shocking customer service and will never shop here again. No wonder the Metro Centre store is always empty. HOF look to John Lewis to see how a retailer should conduct themselves

Was in the Belfast store late last night and a young blonde assistant served me, was so pleasant and helped us in every way. Looked for unavailable items in the store and online for us. Very good at her job!!

Went to the Benefit counter in the Grimsby branch to get some concealer.2 assistants were both doing makeovers.neither of them looked at me or greeted me as I stood there for over 5min.coming from a customer service background myself I found it to be a rude experience and actually ordered my product online instead direct with benefit.i shall not be returning back to your store to purchase again.this was on Saturday 13th Aug at 1pm.

Returned a mans jumper after finding a hole under the armpit only 4 days later. To get a refund was such a hassle. The assistant said that the code number on the receipt did not tally with the code number on the jumper. I was left waiting while she went looking for a manager. When she eventually arrived it transpired that the assistant had misread the label. I was made to feel that I was trying to defraud the House of Fraser! Did I receive an apology for the faulty goods - no. Very disappointing customer service. My first visit to the Reading store but I will not be returning D

Spotted a potential error in the description of one of their products. Emailed them asking to clarify. I made my purchase based on the information they provided me. When the item arrived it became clear the information their customer service team provided was incorrect and thus the item itself was of no use to me. Return labels inside were the pack but no clear instructions as to how to proceed with a return. I for one, have never heard of "Collect+" until now. I stuck both labels (collect+ and royal mail) on the repacked item and head out to the nearest post office to send it back. Clerk takes one quick look at it and tells me it's a collect+ package and they can't accept it there. I head back, confused as hell about what/who this collect+ crap is -- turns out I need to go somewhere else to return this. So here I am, running around town trying to return this item that was sold to me in a fashion akin to bait & switch -- though out of incompetence, the net result is the same. I asked them to arrange for a pickup, so that at the very least I don't waste more time getting the item with this return, and they tell me they won't for such a "low priced item". All this hassle because they were too lazy to take out a measuring stick and measure the incorrectly advertised item's dimensions. It's not like they had to open a box or break a seal to do so. Never shopping with them again. Period.

Ordered a Silver grey dress for a wedding to give the bride away. No problem ordering, payment taken without any problems, received e mail confirmation, all points correct. However 4 days later dress arrived dark navy !! Called customer services, who agreed that I had ordered a Silver Grey Dress, and that the delivery note stated a Silver grey dress was being delivered. Someone had put the wrong colour in for me . Yes they most certainly had. I was then told it would be 2 days before customer service dept would receive a reply from the warehouse whether they actually had the Silver Grey Dress, I had ordered or not but meanwhile I could return the Navy dress. First thing in the morning the dress was taken to our localist office and returned. Just to wait for the proper dress to be delivered. NO CHANCE. Having called 2 days later, as no one had made contact with me I was told NO problem I will take your payment now and I will have the dress sent out to you !!! We do not replaced items sent out by mistake you will have to reorder by paying the full amount for a second time and we will refund your original payment once it has gone through House of Fraser System !!! I would rate House of Fraser -10 stars , if it were possible,but I was only allowed to enter by clicking on stars available. NEVER AGAIN. Perhaps the company had standards at one point in time, they are definitely a totally sub standard company now
