“I ordered a birthday present for my sister over the phone . The assistant I spoke to was very helpful and the service on the phone was excellent. I was assured the present would arrive before her birthday. I didn't know until the day of her birthday, when I spoke to her on the phone, that she hadn't received it, I hadn't been informed so I contacted the shop and was told that sometimes their parcels go missing and that this has happened before. I had no way of getting another present to her. I was told that after 15 days lost the present would be replaced. It arrived a few days later. Of course you can't be held responsible for the Royal Mail but perhaps when you know it is a present and I stressed it needed to arrive by a certain day, you could mention that sometimes your parcels go missing- they appear to get held up in Birmingham. As for phoning you for a refund of the postage-I have already made 3 phone calls to you and spent time trying to sort this out.”

“Still waiting for a present from my sister , which was ordered on 5th May .It's now 14 th !.Assistant assured my sister that it would definitely arrive in time for 11 th May and would probably be there before then .This is very poor service .”

Hello Elaine, I'm sorry your birthday present was late. Unfortunately Royal Mail were at fault. We sent the parcel your sister ordered as requested, but Royal Mail 'misplaced' an entire sack of our post which led to a number of orders arriving later than intended. We contacted all the customers concerned, including your sister, kept them up to date with any progress and have refunded the postage to those customers, (we are waiting to hear back from your sister with her card details to do so for her). I see now your parcel has arrived, I do hope you find something lovely to spend your pebbles on. I apologise again for the delay but sadly we can't control the post once it's entered the Royal Mail system.

“Bought 3 pairs of cufflinks, one pair for my fiance, one for his best man and the usher. we love them, great quality and a little bit different, just what we wanted!! Delivery and communication was great too. We would shop here again.”

“ThIscis the second time I have placed n on In order with Iapetus and I continue to be very pleased with the excellent service. I was kept informed borough out by email and phone and my gift arrived beautifully packaged with a hand written note. A lovely personal touch. “Many thanks for such a quick response to my order and such a lovely handwritten note on the side of my order form. I lost a bee earring in Norway a few weeks ago and was extremely upset as they had been a birthday present (with a bee necklace) from my husband and step daughter. I was pleased to receive my new bees, on my birthday, it was a wonderful, unexpected surprise. I now have a spare bee!! Thank you.”

“I recently purchased 2 light shades from Iapetus; I originally saw them in a shop in Oxford last weekend. After waiting an eternity in the shop to see if they could obtain the shades in the size we needed (as they did't currently have them in stock) we were told it would be around 6-7 weeks delivery as they had to be made to order. By Tuesday the following week, I sourced them ready to order and deliver from Iapetus. By Friday the light shades were with us with a lovely hand written note thanking us for our order. It was a pleasure and the price of the shades was totally competitive. Thank you! would definitely recommend and use Iapetus again.”

“Very happy with the service and the products were delivered quickly. My only complaint is the yellow coasters are a darker yellow than the yellow placemats, although they aren't sold as a set they are the same design and colour description so my expectation was they would match.”
