“The original Ideal world was good with decent treatment for customer and honesty when products were faulty. I was sad when it disappeared and glad when it came back. Today, after a call about a faulty product, I won't be shopping there again! The agent was rude, couldn't care less and left me feeling like he thought I was trying a scam. I spent thousands with them over the years, but today, they have had my last penny. I am very disappointed, both with the smart watch that I really wanted and with IDW. In fact, especially with IDW. I thought better of them. But I won't stay where my custom isn't valued and I'm not respected.”

I think it was so much better before like qvc but not anymore .I was for years in the 1960s a store demonstrator and I also worked at the ideal home and other exhibitions and its just like the speal we used to sell products. “Cheap tacky products over priced item can find cheaper in ebay or amazon, B & M shop even poundland seems presenters always have or need one during their selling point and con people into buying tacky products I wonder what the presenters think when going into work and see what tack they must sell to viewers”
“The old Ideal world presenters have learnt nothing from the past.. How can they woffle on for 45 minutes about some product that has been on a dozen times before as though it was the best invention ever.. And they always find a comparison elsewhere for double the price where customers can find a comparison for half the price on line. P.S and M.M are the worst culprits who will say anything to encourage people to buy rubbish products.. I don't suppose the company cares as long as the rubbish is shifted.”

Phoned 15/01/24 told it was a pre-order and would be sent 16th. Phoned again 18/01/24 told it would be despatched 20/01/24.
This was not a pre order
Operator said I couldn't cancel as their system didn't have that option would have to wait for delivery then return.
If they can take your money Why can't they refund it. Very peculiar

“Both Ideal World and TJC are now really naff - I believe they are run by the same company? I used to buy a lot from both channels years ago, but now they just sell tat - and the new presenters are awful! Pretty embarrassing all round; I can't believe they will last much longer.”

“Just dreadful! Presenters seem unable to string more than a few words together and (understandably) struggle to talk about something like an eyebrow brush for an entire programme. Goods are overpriced & look as if they've fallen off the back of a lorry. Used to be an IW shopper but no more, its embarrassing to watch!”
