I bought 2 plants and the so called brilliant compost, the plant ate not even growing and other plants i put in the compost ate not growing at all, very disappointed

Carries on from my previous posy. Have decided yo record the phone conversations from now on as we just go round in circles. Spent over 20 mins on the phone trying get someone to understand that they cant the payments from eight flexipays that cleared and paid off. Lastest excuse is that there are trchnicL problems with the payments system. I can't even update my card details online as the system just throws me back to the old card. The most unhelpful comment was the fact that it was all very odd!! You don't say. Fear not though. I agreed to give them time to call me back today. Within the hour. Even gave out my home number just to be on the safe side. Oh it's five hours later. Still waiting for that call. At least they have now managed to take an extra payment for Flexi Pay that cleared off.

I'm pretty sure they broke the law in handing over both my contact details and credit card details to a third party. I would avoid ideal world at all costs and the rocket marketing group who also appear to be a bunch of scammers.

Bought several items in the warehouse sale and was told my order was being processed . The next day I had an update on my order to say one of the items was out of stock and was being refunded. I was very angry as it was bought as a gift and also why was I allowed to order if it was out of stock. This is not the first time this has happened.

What has gone wrong at Ideal World? Called customer services last week to pay off eight flexi pays and have them new cards details. All payments showed as pending and the as paid on my card account. Today get an email telling me that one if the 8 has been declined even though it shows as being paid on my card account. Noticed that the other seven show no payment being received even though should mow be clear. Callef customer service again. Told be the card details had not been updated at all and that as he was working from home is was unable to help. Apparently I will now get a call from one of the Specialist Team within 24 hours. Been shopping with Ideal World now for many years and never had this problem. Seems like customer service has been farmed out to a random call centre somewhere in the world, and they are clueless to help with reading off an on screen script. Such a shame as they always tried to give a more personal service. Perhaps off to QVC might be an idea.

WATCHED IDEAL WORLD THIS MORNING AND THEY WERE CLAIMING THAT THEY ARE DOING A WAREHOUSE CLEARANCE BUT JESS CLAIMED THAT THE COMPANY IS LOSING MONEY AND THEN WATCHED A REPEAT OF SHAUN DOING A WAREHOUSE CLEARANCE AND THE AMOUNT OF TIMES HE CLAIMED THAT THE COMPANY IS LOSING MONEY IS DISGUSTING THEN CLAIMING THAT THEY ARE NOT MAKING ANY MARGINS TAKING A HIT AND CLAIMING THAT THE COMPANY HAS LOST THOUSANDS OF POUNDS THIS IS NOT ABOUT CUSTOMERS IT'S ABOUT IDEAL WORLD AND GREED HOW MANY RETAILER STORES DO YOU GO IN AND THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE LOSING MONEY TAKING A HIT LOSING THOUSANDS OF POUNDS WHEN THEY HAVE A CLEARANCE SALE NONE HOW THESE SHOPPING CHANNELS CAN CLAIM THIS SHOWS WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT IDEAL WORLD DON'T DO WAREHOUSE CLEARANCE IF IT'S JUST ABOUT MONEY AND YOURSELVES NASTY

Kept My Bank Card Number after being told not too. Then the marketing calls start,even after saying You Don't Want Them Too Call You. Deliberate Breeches of Article 8 of the Civil And Human Rights 1994.

Ordered in good faith E bike not a cheap commodity! Was delivered without being signed for outside my front door ! It could have been taken ! Opened the box horrendous to put together! Didn’t save box due to size! Where do you store it !?after only 3rd attempts at riding the derailleur buckled causing the gears to seize I have phoned and emailed for over a year and no or very little response same copied email will despatch another wheel etc !!! I think ideal world! Not so ideal world! I ended up taking my bike to get sorted ! What a scam

Ideal World slick presenting quick to take your money, however delivery and customer service ZERO. Maybe they should ask QVC how to treat customers, they could learn a lot from a well run company. I like many will NEVER USE Ideal World again, money/profit put before customer service

I ordered a airfyer cooker on the 19 th March it is now the 31st and after phone call after phone call still not recieved , but was quick enough to take money

They cancelled my order for a treadmill, which was bought at a discounted rate. Telling me it was due to stock issues . Yet they are selling them on their Web site currently. However at a higher price. So they refuse to honour my order . But would be happy for me to make a new one if I place again and just pay another £100. Something very fishy about that move. I'd simply stay clear of them people.

We ordered a blender from Ideal world, except we did it the wrong way around. We ordered it, it wasn't cheap then checked the reviews OOPS !!!!! The reviews were absolutely dreadful, not one good one. However, in our instance, we have to say we must be the exception to the rule. We got a receipt immediately online, around three days later, it was with the courier and two days after that it was delivered to home. Haven't opened it yet so can't confirm how it is, but at least we got it, which is more than some others appear to have experienced. Overall our service was very good and quick. The criticism we would have of Hermes delivery is they plonked the box on the doorstep and said delivered to customers porch, we don't have a porch. It was left outside. Not a good move on a busy road like ours. Luckily, we must have had a good neighbourhood watch day that day as we found it on arrival home. So sorry, can't really criticise IW

Ordered a treadmill 1/1/2022, waited two weeks no delivery. Contacted them via chat told it was out of stock but should be available in a week. looked on my account on Ideal world, said out for delivery 7/1/22. Next day email saying order cancelled and money will be refunded. Three weeks later they are advertising it again, so ordered again. After one week contacted them and again told out of stock, told them to cancel order and refund money. Why are they taking orders and money if somemthing is not available. I deal World and the supplier are appalling and I will not use them again. Incidentally I got same model on Ebay for £100 cheaper, so shop around.

Something feels very DUBIOUS about Ideal World and Hermes. My elderly mother ordered a Dormeo King Size mattress on 8th Jan. Ideal World emailed to say she may need to wait until 21st for dispatch, then shortly after emailed to say it was dispatched (!?) Hermes emailed to say they were to deliver on 15th, I was sat by the window which oversees all traffic as there are no through roads at our junction, 6ft from the front door when my phoned pinged an email from Hermes telling me I wasn't at home!!! No calling card as per Hermes regulations....because nobody damn well came to deliver - liars. They emailed to say they'd deliver the next day, emailed to say they're was an issue, they'd be in touch the next day. The King Size Mattress and Hermes were never seen or heard from again. When their competitor can deliver me a tiny hairnet the same week how the hell can you lose a King size mattress? Ideal World gave me Hermes phone number, I reminded them they are the vendor- their contract is with Hermes to deliver, not me. Their customer service is a premium rate line automated service that is deaf to plain English. They phoned offering me a sweetener of a book of vouchers, money off further purchases? The I.W. caller didn't even know himself! I.W. are currently 'investigating'. Something very, very suspicious about both companies. Something must be going on....they need exposing.

Absolutely dreadful!! Will never, ever buy from again. Due to companies OWN NEGLIGENCE I have list £491.94, plus a week completely wasted trying to sort, only to get nowhere. Going to have words with TRADING STANDARDS!! When I IMMEDIATELY saw (about 10 mins after purchase) that they didn't give a separate billing and shipping address, I emailed them. Yet five days later they sent me message that the courier 'DREADFUL HERMES' intended to deliver to wrong address. I tried every which way to stop delivery as nobody is at address. Hermes left items OUTSIDE, us they just so happen to be foods!!! They are very likely now ripped and torn apart by every animal, bird, insect in area, all over possibly neighbouring and my property. Then I call, email, try everything and I get its now my responsibility as delivered, even if "IN MY UNOCCUPIED GARDEN?" So I'll be in touch with bank, trading standards and environmental about this. Consumer Rights Act in UK, just been breached in EVERY WHICH WAY!! Other buyers out there, check Consumer Rights Act 2015 and contact Trading Standards, this place should be SHUT DOWN!!

Purchased a treadmill yet to receive not within 3 to 5 days as promised. But also rang and told a pack of vouchers would be sent I stupidly said ok. When they arrived it turns out I had been enrolled into some Lifestyle Club which I had to cancel within 21 days or get charged £89.99 and a coffee card £14.95. Cancelled straightaway and have complained to Ideal World. I also asked for our credit card details to be wiped and assurances that no further payments would be taken which they have failed to address so I've mailed them again.Having read all these posts I'm now wary that the treadmill may never arrive. Will never ever deal with these people again.

I ordered a Foreknow snow bike over a month ago and it said on the order up to 14 days for delivery. After several emails I always get the same reply of we will get back to you and they never do. Do not buy from them. SCAM!!! I WILL REMOVE THIS REVIEW WHEN I GET THE BIKE!!!

So our very first order from Ideal World. We were promised despatch of our new treadmill within 2-4 working days (which is very poor by 2022 standards) but we waited patiently. However eight days afer the order, no despatch confirmation has been received and there is no information about the order on the Ideal World website. Rang customer services to complain, only to be told that the order hadn't been despatched. Asked for it to be expedited with immediate despatch and for written confirmation of despatch, but was told they couldn't respond for another two days. Every part of this company's customer service is appalling. They are quick to advertise, quick to take payment (next day) but seem to think that it is then OK to delay despatch well beyond the stated terms of service AND to compound this by not being able to respond quickly when customers complain. In 2022, we have become used to exemplary customer service from other retailers, with next day delivery to the house or to a local pick up point being the norm, backed up by excellent communication and customer service if things go wrong. This is why online sales are booming in 2022. However, Ideal World seems to be happy to deliver 1970s style customer service, treating it's customers with distain and contempt. They cannot be surprised if customers become very unhappy and subsequently use online reviews to share their bad experiences. Speaking personally, this customer is highly unlikely to ever order from Ideal World again.
