“I had a great visit tonight to get items for my bed room. Reason for leaving the review is for the lady who helped us Jessica was very very helpful and was very jolly and lovely to chat to. We would just like to thank you for your help Jessica. This was at ikea near the metro center 😊 We. Purchased all items she recommended x”

“The customer service I received in the furniture department at the Norfolk, VA location was awesome. The salesman, Gerard Thompson, was so helpful assisting me with a selection of a chair I needed to get for my daughter to go with the IKEA sectional couch she already had. He answered all my questions about the product, delivery, set-up and because of him I was able to decide that day which chair to buy. Gerard epitomizes the best of customer service. I would highly recommend him if you visit the IKEA Norfolk store.”

“We had a problem with our sofa after 11 months. Ikea have been amazing, within the week they had an agent come out to inspect the sofa, and the following day called to say we could replace. The two Ikea workers who I have been dealing with are June and Stewart. I can only say their professionalism and way in which they have dealt with this has been excellent. I would highly recommend Ikea for price, returns and giving an excellent service.”

“IKEA is like a family day out. I will look online for the items I want. I write down the locations of where all the items for me to find quick. I find IKEA very easy to get around either way. The staff are extremely helpful, never a bad word to say about them. I would be in IKEA maybe 3/4 times are year to buy furniture and small pieces.”

“IKEA is not able to deliver their furniture! I place my order over $3,000 online and I lost my hope to see my furniture any time soon. They reschedule the delivery 4 times - I had to take off work and I really sounds ridiculous to my superior to tell him the same story but what should I do??? Their word now means nothing to me... totally unreliable!!! I made me cry today - I just wanted to give them a call and to reassure that my furniture are coming in TWO DAYS ... and I just got the answer that they will not make it and want to reschedule it for another day!!!... i can not believe it.”

“Ikea has a reasonable priced furniture that are beautiful, functional and the quality is good for price. Their delivery service is great. They delivered on time and the delivery guys were very nice. The only issues I have with Ikea is that many times what I needed was out of stock and that shows the high demand for their products.”

“Bought a Pinnig Halltree (black metal - $89.95). Best "build it yourself" product I have ever bought (I'm 71 - built lots of bikes and furniture in my time). All parts very robust and high quality. Instructions clear and accurate (even though wordless!) Finished product is extremely stable and I'm so glad I didn't opt for some cheaper ones at Walmart or Amazon. Bench very sturdy - and I'm no lightweight at 250+”

“I went to the Sunrise store yesterday to buy 6 patio chair cushions. When I got there I did not see any of the ones I wanted. I then asked an associate there who was in the area behind a computer about what I was looking for. She answered "If you don't see it we don't have it anymore". I told her that online it stated that there 13 available, she replied in a harsh tone , that the company's supply can be wrong too. I walked away until another associate further away asked how he can help me. I told him about the cushion, he said if you see one on display get the #s and he would search the computer. Well he searched and got the info on the computer that stated the aisle and bin # to go to. I got the 6 and love them so much went back for 4 more. His name in SEAN MULLINS in sunrise store. He went above and beyond. thanks SEAN for your help. The other associate needs more training in customer service”

“Just wanted to say thank you to the three delivery men that delivered our bed yesterday morning. Excellent service, I could track the driver all morning, the driver called when 1 hour away and upon arrival, they were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very refreshing”

“We ordered a desk and paid the extra $20 to have it shipped to the Whitby pick-up point. On the day we had arranged a truck to pick up the desk, my wife could not make the one hour trip and we were worried that because it was purchased in her name I wouldn’t be allowed to pick it up for her. A call to PAUL at customer services set us at ease. He explained clearly what was necessary for me to pick it up for her and assured me I would have no problems in Whitby. He was absolutely right! I was in and out in 5 minutes or less. The staff at the Whitby pick-up point were very efficient and friendly.”

“Great customer service experience! I recently emailed ikea about a small manufacturers defect that appeared on a kitchen table I purchased 6 months ago. They replied immediately, reviewed my email and sent a brand new table the following week! I found this to be amazing customer service! This experience alone will make me choose Ikea for my next furniture purchase.”
