Hi all,let me just share my experience with INTERPARCEL driver simply refused to collect my parcels due to lack of space in his van:):) this is now going on for 5 days.Parcels are piling up now at the collection point.Made 3 calls today but they just don't care ..... keep promising but nothing has happened:):):) DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twice now I have been let down by Interparcel not delivering on time. The first time the parcel arrived a day late. The last incident the delivery was cancelled (not by me!) I was told I would have to pay to re-book despite it not being my fault the delivery was cancelled. I contacted hte courier direct. In future I will be avoiding interparcel.

Hi Nowal, I have checked your orders for you 12312214 - This has been collected and delivered. This was for a university but the address did not specify where to deliver, this would then cause problems for the driver. 12374673 - This was collected 02/12 and delivered 03/12. I am sorry this was not collected on the original date. Unfortunately UPS were unable to advise why their system had the collection as cancelled. If you have any further queries do not hesitate to contact us.

Although Interparcel performed ok themselves, the Carrier company (UPS) were appalling and we would not be using them again

the service itself initially was easy to book and I was happy with it. But the fact that the courier did not show for the pick up (UPS) and I was not notified that no one is coming as per my booking, was not as impressive and made doubt the reliance of your services. As per the live chat assistance I had with Becky Blythe, she has been very helpful and rebooked my service for the following day and promised me an email from UPS regarding the missed pick up.

Until recently you have been excellent,the parcel I sent prior to the one that has gone missing was not scanned at my door and that had to be looked into but was found I now this one also was not scanned at my door and is still missing.Driver said there was no scanners available for him.Very poor and I have now changed to a different courier.

Hi David, So sorry to hear this, I can see my colleagues are currently investigating this with the chosen courier and a complaint has been raised about their scanners not working. They are self employed couriers and if scanners are not available, all items should be scanned back at the depot so we can only apologise that on this occasion there have been no scans on your item. As soon as we have any information as to where your parcel is, we will be in contact. I used this service in expectation of at least getting a parcel collected and god willing delivered. Well sadly we failed at the first hurdle, despite the optimism of an email saying it would be collected between 9 - 5:30. Having waited for most of the day to no avail, I decided to call UPS the carrier collecting. They could see the consignment but had no instruction to collect, so via live I spoke with Kate from Interparcel, who told me UPS had attempted. Which having been at the collection point all day and no UPS van in sight, means somebody is being liberal with the truth. My deeper annoyance that you were instructed in good faith to carry out the terms of the contract, I also don't recall you stating that you might collect my parcel, the email said it would. I paid in good faith for a 24 hour service, which I didn't get and my customers parcel will now arrive late, not through any fault of my own. I paid in good faith and when I challenged what I had actually paid for which was a 24 hour service, not a 48, the mention of the refund word obviously sent a shudder down the spine. Not a problem because I can simply vote with our cheque book or with our volume go directly to a carrier, as this experience has been pretty negative and left a bad taste.

Hi Andy, Thanks for the feedback. Upon checking the order I can see we have raised the failed collection with UPS for you and we will let you know the reason behind the failure. UPS may not have been able to assist you as this is booked via ourselves, and we have a collection reference for UPS that we can give to them, if you didn't have this, they would not have been able to advise you on the matter. All orders placed with us need to be raised with us so we can raise with the courier on your behalf, the couriers will not discuss collections or deliveries with our customers directly. Read the small detail of the T's&C's. I had a parcel booked through interparcel but collected by parcelforce 48, but it arrived 24hrs late because it went to the wrong depot. Parcelforce offer a 25% refund but when booked with Interparcel there is NO REFUND!

Hi Al, Thanks for the review. We do not offer ParcelForce as a money back guaranteed service as they do not credit us within our contract with them. You may be able to get the 25% refund with them when booking directly but you will also find that you can book them at a cheaper rate with us than if you went direct with them. The courier services and delivery was below par... Plus the item was broken on delivery and some of the wrapping was ripped off... No.. We will.Not use your company again,

Hi Peter, so sorry to hear that you are not happy with the service that you received. I have gone back to the beginning of the year and cannot see that you have contacted us regarding this problem. I booked with interparcel 2 hr time slot as their website instructed but dey never came to collect the parcel. Disappointed and phoned dem den found out dat it was not warranty time slot. I was shocked. I told customer service lady to change da time slot n she change it to wrong time. What a disaster. Will wait till tomorrow. Won't use dis site again.

Hi Naseema, I do apologise that the courier was not able to meet your requested time slot, as our couriers are all day collection services, we can only request times with them. Requested time slots cannot be guaranteed I am afraid however the drivers will always try to meet the requested times where possible. Lost both my parcels.Contacted Stacey McKay in customer services and she chased tracking numbers and found them.If all the staff were as efficient as Stacey the company would run a lot better

Quick to take your money not as quick to investigate a query with delivery and obtaining Proof of delivery. I appreciate the timescale was April 2015 but the company surely can obtain a signature copy, after all paperwork has to be kept for a period of 6 years for tax purposes. One of the reasons I will no longer use Interparcel - hide behind the fact they are the middlemen and not responsible if anything goes wrong. Bad customer service sadly. My last resort is to write here as no one wishes to assist.

Hi Michelle, I have called UPS to get this chased up and they will be sending me the proof of delivery within the next hour. customer service is helpful and professional, Actual courier service is poor, no timed pickup available, requested morning collection, which was not fulfilled, service not been fulfilled, may as well throw my money out of the window. service has been rebooked but I have very little faith, I am guessing that my money is gone and that I need to use a different provider.

Hi Mike, I am sorry the item was not collected on the requested date. We do advise you at the time of booking the collections are all day service and the request times are not guaranteed.

It cost me £112 to hav a parcel delivered then it got damaged but they won't do anything as it was made of resin but they sent me the labels with resin standing alien on them but app it won't be covered I sent pics of how well was wrapped and said fragile stand this way up but app there is nothing they can do and it's not easy replaced I'm fummin!

Hi Hazel, I'm sorry to hear of the problems that you have had with this order. Unfortunately resin is listed as restricted with our services and so cannot be claimed for in the event of damage, the item is sent completely at your own risk. I will however ensure that a complaint is raised with the courier regarding the damage to this item.

I have used this service for the last six months, however when things go wrong the Customer Service team become non responsive. Extremely disappointed!

I have had to stop using this delivery service because of items being destroyed in transit! I know that some items were risky to send because they were porcelaine but they were wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap, small bubbles inner and large outer. Then mounted within a cardboard cradel to hold the conent away from sides of the cardboard outer boxes. The items were double boxed in triple walled boxes. On several occasions recipients commented upon the outer boxes having big stab holes through them! Breakages reached a high point when a steel figure packaged as described above arrived damaged to the point where it no longer had any value to the collector or myself. Effectively breakages went from less than 5% in 2013 to over 50% in 2014. I don't wish to know why but despite improving the quality of packaging, buying stronger boxes and using polystyrene wotsits etc. I could reduce the breakage rate. Sadly, they always delivered the broken items which prevented my making any kind of successful insurance claim! I could not recommend this carrier to anyone.

Clearly when things go right, InterParcel customers are very happy, but when they go wrong, boy do they go wrong. Last Wednesday I arranged for InterParcel to collect a parcel. They chose CityLink to make the collection on Thursday, some time between 9am and 6pm. Despite being in all day no one came and despite providing phone numbers, nobody phone. Friday morning I rang InterParcel to complain. I was told that City Link had tried to collect but no-one was in. The collection was rescheduled for that day and I insisted that they make sure the driver had our phone number. Again I was in all day, phone again at 4pm and was told not to worry but collection might not occur until 7.30pm. Again no-one came or phoned. Monday morning I phone to complain and reschedule. Late that moroning CityLink came to collect the parcel. The driver was the one who had tried to collect on Thursday. He had tried but failed to find our house, phone CityLink HQ and was given wrong directions. No explanation for why he hadn't tried phoning us. I emailed InterParcel to tell the the parcel had been collected and suggested that some sort of compensation for the 5 phone calls and two whole days of waiting might be in order. I was told that under "our terms of use collections are not guaranteed". If they can't guarantee a collection, who on earth would employ them? Certainly not me again.

A catalogue of errors from 7/2/14 to now. This has been going on for ages and still unresolved. Afraid I can't waste any more time on Interparcel/Citylink any more. There is approx 20 emails back & forth trying to resolve this to no avail. I know what will happen, as before, Interparcel will reply saying please contact Sam Kennard, Customer Service Team Manager, and they in turn will say it is Citylink. They've lost two of my parcels after many no-show collections. Poor show Interparcel!

Im giving them 2 star as the courier booked through them hasnt turned up 2 days in a row. still waiting? I dont know who is more at fault interparcel or the courier 'City Link' but after complaining interparcel wouldnt even bump the delivery up from 2 day service to next day service!

This was the first time I had used the website, I found it quick and easy and the prices were reasonable. I had arranged for two vintage lamps to be collected. I had paid ?250 for the lamps so paid extra for insurance to that sum, just in case. I had thought everything was great and was ready to sing there praises when my parcel arrived and despite having fragile stickers on the side and being well wrapped up my lamps were smashed to bits. I was devastated, but at least I had the insurance...right...wrong! When I contacted Customer service to tell them what had happened I was told that the lamps were on there restricted items list. When I made the booking for some reason I was unable to see the restricted list and had assumed it must be things like chemicals and weapons but no, it was my lamps and any other breakable material known to man was also on the list. So why take insurance money... should they not check what an item is made of before taking the insurance money? So now I have two smashed lamps and nothing else. It is altogether very disappointing, I had thought it was a great experience but it turned out very bad. It would seem they may be good, but don't post anything breakable because even with insurance you have not got a leg to stand on or any back up.

interparcel.com is an easy & usually efficient booking system & for the most part it runs smoothly. BUT when it goes wrong , you are completely on your own! You cannot deal directly with the courier as you are not their customer & interparcels customer service is a lottery of personalities! Needed to get a parcel to ITV next day but UPS descided they couldnt find London Television Centre with their address! So didnt! Nor did they the following day , infact not until lunchtime 2 days later. No explanation. Little but scripted responses from interparcel to my pleas for UPS to ring the customer or me. Just ignored until I can read it myself on tracking. Then they email telling me its been delivered! YES I KNOW....TOO LATE... thanks!
