I have used Interparcel many times and never had an issue until recently. I had purchased a service where a parcel would be collected from me on the Friday and delivered on the Monday. I chose this specifically as I had been paid extra to send the item on time. The package was not collected on the Friday and when I phoned up I was told the delivery had not been re-arranged and the earliest collection was then Tuesday. Upon asking if there was any way I could have the parcel collected today (Monday) I was informed I had to choose a different service and pay extra. At this point, I had spoken to my customer who was furious that he paid extra and still would not have the item delivered on time - so I refunded his postage charges. Mistakes are made, that is fair enough. Although annoying, it was not Interparcel's fault the delivery was not collected on time. However, the service received is what is shocking. I would have been fine with the service if they offered something in compensation, even if it was to have not charged me extra to have a package collected three days after I paid for it. Apparently, nothing could be done because of this and I'm now out of pocket and getting shouted at by an irate customer. Customer service from Interparcel is disgusting and had this been dealt with in another manner I would be fine with it. However, as a result of this I refuse to process any of my parcel deliveries through Interparcel in future.

Worst experience ever. They didn't come to pick up 2 parcels on the day I booked so I had to take a day of work the next day and wait 9am-9pm at home. They didn't explain what's happened. Then 1 parcel was delivered after a week a 1 has been stolen / lost. With no explanation they redirected me to the company they deal with saying it's not their fault. Obviously it was them when I was paying for the parcel to be delivered , but not them when stolen / lost.

I shouldn't name the staff member it was my misfortune to deal with. I can accept that, as I think even she can't be solely responsible for the horrendous experiences so many are describing. This and other review sites clearly identify a business in crisis. That doesn't take into account all those that have complained on Interparcel's own website and through twitter: #interparcel Does anyone know of a parcel broker's ombudsman? How can they be allowed to take your order then decide they want to charge you more at a later date - How can they accept your parcels, lose them and just shrug their shoulders? ORIGINAL ISSUE I am starting to believe they are in financial difficulties. Company search suggests their revenue was down by 5% last year. So much for the so called "revenue protection team" These are the ones who try to get more money out of you and when you say no they close your account and the account of anyone else that may be near you. Even blocking whole post codes just because someone asks for evidence of a random charge they want to apply? There are quite a few reviews about where people have challenged the same thing. How many are they actually getting away with? Is that revenue protection or income generation? They said I had undeclared a parcel’s size and tried to charge me a whopping £50.98 admin fee. I send the same size parcels on a regular basis so I asked for more info and evidence. They sent me a jpeg of 3 numbers that meant nothing and told me to pay up. They called it a report from the courier. It was a blank pdf with three numbers. Talk about speculative robbery! There followed a ludicrous game of email ping pong with a power crazed woman called X (not allowed to name her) in Revenue Protection. Revenue protection lady trawled the internet looking at my stock and trying to determine what might have fitted into the measurements supposedly given by the courier. She even asked my for a photo of the parcel I had sometime ago sent, next to a tape measure. Bearing in mind, they said I had under-declared the size but they still sent it and they, the ones that actually had the parcel, didn't take a photo next to a tape measure. Is that getting rid of the evidence? They threatened me with court and debt collectors and even though I explained I was finding the situation stressful they wouldn't listen to reason.... ALL I HAD ASKED FOR WAS EVIDENCE! According to their twitter responder, they always send the invoice from the courier when there is a dispute. THAT IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE! Eventually I was banned from using their services. I tried to book a parcel and it didn't go through. Then almost immediately I got an email from X. The obsessed female had been waiting for me to try. Her email basically amounted to Ha Ha! This is what I and it appears many others have been dealing with. OK, it's their system... there are plenty of other parcel brokers and going direct to some couriers actually offers real benefits. I now get the impression Interparcel were selling premium services cheap but actually supplying the basics from some of their partners. Read other reviews for more experiences of this. Anyway, I though that was that - and got on with business for an entire year totally unaffected, quickly forgetting about their bullying tactics. Little did I know X had been festering and 1 year later she starts closing other accounts that she thinks I may have some association with. Businesses that share my post code? When they spoke to interparcel, the call handler acknowledged the OTT actions of her colleague and went as far to imply, "this is what she does - she likes to win" ALL I DID WAS ASK FOR EVIDENCE Again, I don’t know how they can call that revenue protection when I have moved all my business to another broker that actually integrates with my sales platforms. Parcels2Go are light years ahead. I’ve sent approx 750 parcels through various couriers since they banned me. It may not be quite as cheap (a couple of pennies) but I save a lot of time and weirdly seem to lose fewer parcels, even though, they share the same couriers. I used Interparcel for some years and sent hundreds of parcels with them. For the most part they were fine, issues sorted fairly quickly... it’s just scary they can give one woman the power to flip off good customers when ever she feels like it. Just because I asked for proof before handing over £50.98. Perhaps that’s why they are cheaper generally. Once in a while they sting you with a random £50.98 tax? No self respecting Director can be aware of this surely? Although, I did email them but they didn’t respond. I tweeted them but they didn't respond. Maybe it is policy. Maybe they are failing, maybe it's another one of those postage based businesses that will disappear overnight leaving so many parcels in limbo costing their customers £1000's to sort. If you happen to be the Producer of Watchdog or Rip Off Britain and want the heads up on a story that is going to break sooner or later, then please do get in touch. I don't know why she started on my a year later. All it's done is, embed a sincere determination to expose the nasty, cynical nature of this type of business. I wouldn't have bothered with this review a year ago. They have helped me better understand the need for reviews and feedback via FaceBook, the web generally and TWITTER... Yes Twitter, I have doubled my followers in 2 days thanks to this bunch. #interparcel REMEMBER: DON'T ASK FOR EVIDENCE OR SHE WILL BAN YOU! AND POSSIBLY ANYONE ELSE YOU MIGHT KNOW! ALL I ASKED FOR WAS EVIDENCE - WHY ARE YOU NOW HOUNDING ME AND PEOPLE I KNOW??

If you value your sanity, time and money...DON’T USE INTERPARCEL! I used them twice (shame on me) and both times were a disaster. The first time the parcel arrived at its destination 11 days later than specified and not once did interparcel contact me to tell me why it is being delayed infact I had to phone them to chase the courier to get it delivered otherwise it woukd still be sitting in that warehouse!. Nor did they offer any compensation for their failure to deliver the parcel within the specified timeframe. I had to spend literraly hours chasing them for updates and beg for communication with the courier. The 2nd time I used them (because I hoped the 1st time was just a fluke disaster, so gave them another chance) turned out even worse! This Sat gone I booked in a parcel for collection on Monday- no one showed up to collect the parcel. I emailed Interparcel on Monday - no response, so I phoned Interparcel on Tuesday and was told I’ll just have to rebook it, no reason why they failed, nothing! So I rebooked for collection yesterday (Wed) - AGAIN NO ONE CAME TO COLLECT IT!!! They did however take my money for the service that they didn’t provide. So I am now having to get my money back, and rebook the parcel with a different company. Interparcel are experts at wasting customers time and provide very very poor to no customer service. Do not rely on them to get your parcel anywhere.

Be aware it's the worst delivery service ever, still waiting a delivery from the UK to Ireland, it's been 13 days since the shipment. I wrote to them several times to have information, but never received an update, really bad experience.

I stopped using Interparcel a year ago, due to consistent issues with there system, so gave the benefit of the doubt and again the same issue has surfaced again, unable to collect on the paid given date, again system issues, Had enough, not using again, back to Parcel Pete, if the fat cats of Interparcel spent more money on there logistic system and not on there bonuses, there customers would be much more happier and also number one at what they do.

Good Morning Anne. I have located your recent order 15451563 and can see that no one has queried us about this so we would not have been aware that there were any issues. I have checked the tracking and this now shows as collected on Wednesday. Please monitor the tracking for updates.

As a customer of Inerparcel for many years, I find today my attempt to book in a parcel for delivery was declined and after two attempts I assumed by card had expired. I have been using interparcel for well over 6 years on a regular basis without issue or failure. I have just recieved the email below from Bex Morley, Revenue Protection Controller informing be my account has been blocked .. Copy of email below: I can see that you have been experiencing issues whilst trying to book to send a parcel through our website. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any bookings to or from yourself as we have reason to believe that you are placing these bookings on behalf of someone that is not permitted to use our services. Kind regards, Bex Morley Revenue Protection Controller Revenue protection manager? You have just closed down an account of someone who uses your company on a regular basis and who recommends your company to soft furnishing businesses across the Uk and your signing off a "Revenue Protection Controller" What on earth makes you think I'm booking parcels for someone else? The parcel booking you blocked today was booked by me to send a parcel to my customer, and I can assure you I wasn't booking for anyone else. 3 people use interparcel in this building .. Revenue Protection Controller? you're a joke and someone in your organisation needs to take you to task for this. You're clearly a person with a little power and a button - You're a danger to your company if you can just drop a long standing customer just because you "have reason to believe" Bex Morley a big thumbs down to you for bad customer service. I'm sure Parcels to Go welcome your appalling attitude towards your long standing customers.

These idiots have just LOST my parcel! Collected from drop-off point, sorted at hub, out for delivery, don't deliver it due to access issues (so they say), don't even bother telling me, I give them an alternative address (even though it's the largest shopping channel on TV!), then they tell me my item is LOST?! They then try and blame for an issue with the address I have given?! If that's the case then, why even collect it?! Return it to me and I would have sorted a qualified company to sort my delivery. But no, you just carry on and go and lose it making me out of pocket! WELL PLAYED! Complete clowns at the highest level! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't use this company or the courier they use Landmark Global. It is cheap but not cheerful. They attached an additional incorrect address label on the package. This covered the original correct address. The package was late for over 15 days and thus ruined Christmas. As the package contained Christmas gifts. Their customer service was no help and only when I got additional courier tracking numbers was I able to contact and physically go and find the parcel. This was not the service that was payed for. Yet, their customer service could not care less.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU USE INTERPARCEL. I sent a package with interparcel it was the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced! They promised next day pick up after 3 business days I called to find out what the hold up was...they advised there was a mistake from the courier and rebooked it for the next day. Two days later no one came so I called again and they did the same again. 2 weeks later and 5 phone calls from me to them and they finally picked up my parcels. It turned out the courier was never booked by interparcel until the final day. Not only that but they never called me. I had to chase them up every time. This was THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!

I have paid for what i thouht was a courier servce with a 10-14 day delivery estimate. It now turns outt that my parcel is in the regular postal service and after 5 weeks my parcel is still is transit and is several hundred miles away from its destination. I would never have used this service if i had been aware thatis was basically the royal mail service. Please never use ths companyif you want a speedy deliver. I will never use them again.

I paid you for a service from you and then you would not take any responsibly for the late delivery of my parcel to Ireland. And then when I complained you hide behind a clause saying you do not give refunds for late delivery, I would not use your company ever again. and I have told all of the companies that I send parcels too of your very bad delivery service.

I booked through interparcel for ups drop off to store service. Paid for the service went to drop the parcel off and the guy here said to me that he cant take the parcel due to him not knowing when they will collect and sent me away to contact interparcel. Made contact through online chat and explained the above. I was then told to try other drop off points which I had done with a previous parcel to be turned away 3 times. So said I'm not going to repeat this driving round for an hour and a half with no guarantee they would take the parcel. I asked if it was interparcels policy to take money for a service where you cant drop a parcel off. They said its down to the drop off points. They shouldn't take money for a service you cant use. Offered a refund which I took but now have to book a collection which is very inconvenient to me. Interparcel never agreed this was wrong only informing me that's the way it is, nothing we can do. NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Good Morning Dave, I am very sorry for the issues that you have had with dropping your parcel off. We will of course get this issue raised with the courier as they have not advised us that any shops would be turning customers away. Once again I am very sorry about this.
