“If i could give them 0 stars i would this company is a bunch of crooks there customer service is horrible there equipment is junk always messing up and costing you money by no means should you use this company”

“Worst company ever. They treat you like a probation officer would treat you. They make your life miserable if anything should goes wrong during your time with this device. If you miss a calibration date, rather than just take the device to the shop like usual to calibrate EVERY month, you have to tow your car. Then have an inspection done and you must pay a hefty fee. They always think you are lying and you get different answers from everyone you speak with at intoxalock. When you call them, they make it extremely difficult to speak with anyone but hanging up on you if you don't hit the right sequence of numbers. WORST COMPANY OUT THERE!”

“Intoxalock is THE WORST company hands down. I literally have had issues with them since day one. I can't even begin to tell you all the issues I have had with them. Just, DO NOT DO IT, TRUST ME YOU, WILL REGRET IT 10000% FIND ANOTHER COMPANY, THEY'RE ALSO VERY RUDE AND HATEFUL, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE”

“Worst ever! Did voluntary as a preventative for a new 21 year old. They’ve made it the worst experience ever. Trying to do something good and they make it impossible and hard. And run you around. Charge more than they say. And forget trying to get ANYONE on the phone!”

“No inter department communication. Poor communication skills( unless you understand Pakastani They report false positives without confirmation. Yeah go ahead and sign their lease on line, they will be able to draw funds directly from your account. In my case they took $75, payment was $36. The kicker is I already was cleared to get a license. Then Intoxalock informs me that my device can't be uninstalled because they can't reach my service center. WHAT?! I was on with them 2 mins. earlier. Sleep well with your conscience INTOXALOCK. If you can get past never another penny from me. Me I'm not one to sue, however if this is how you do business there are some who will. No doubt.”

“Company is a complete joke! Zero customer service when you need them. They are rude over the phone and they accuse you of being a drunk. I started my truck with a .000 reading. Let my truck warm up and as I was leaving the drive way it neded to retest, it then gave me a reading of .020 and gave me a violation/cockpit notice. I tried to blow again and the next reading was .018, the next was .013, and then back down to .000 all within a 15 minute time span. I called customer service and they told me it was all my fault there is no guarantee I didn't do anything cause no one was there to see even though the camera takes pictures when blowing. This is the 2nd time this has happened and all Intoxalock can say is it's my fault and that I have to pay more fees to fix. This company is nothing but a scam looking to cause more stress for people already in a stressful situation, which is exactly what the sales guy I signed the lease said "they avoid added stress because the people they work with are already dealing with a stressful situation." Which was an absolute lie. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU ANYWAY THEY CAN!!!”

“Absolutely terrible. Just like everyone else, I'm on my third battery, my vehicle does some weird electrical things I've never seen and I've been working on vehicles for two decades. Not to mention every time their device causes trouble I get charged 75 dollars by them then another 40 by the shop I have to take it to. I've only had this device for 4 months. So yeah goodbye intoxalock. Oh yeah and it's really awesome how I can't leave a review on your website. That's not weird or anything lol.”

“This device is wrecking my truck. They said I would be reimbursed for getting the device reset after I got a fuse box replaced. They will not refund me. My truck will not start. Custom support did not help. What a nightmare.”

“What a god dawn joke !!! It kills my battery now my car has a mind of its own .. locks itself drains my battery so I'm charged lockout fees ... horrible customer service just all around a nightmare”

“If I could give Intoxalock zero stars, I would. All this company cares about is squeezing every dollar they can out of you, even when their device is faulty. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and expensive. Their device gave me a false reading that caused a lockout and forced me to pay $75, plus an additional $150+ at the service center. To make matters worse, the device’s readings were completely inconsistent and unreliable. I started my car with a reading of 0.024 BAC, then minutes later on the highway, it jumped to 0.031 BAC, causing me to fail and lock out. Just two minutes later, the retest read 0.021 BAC. How is that even possible? This equipment is a complete scam, designed to fail so they can charge you for unnecessary fees. Customer service? Nonexistent. They don’t care about resolving issues or even acknowledging their faulty devices. Every time I called, I was met with indifference, unhelpful responses, and zero accountability. On top of the time wasted from dealing with a DUI, Intoxalock will make you lose even more time with their broken devices, pointless procedures, and constant runaround. It’s exhausting, infuriating, and unfair. Do yourself a favor—research other companies like Smart Start before you even consider calling Intoxalock. I deeply regret choosing them and wish I had gone with a different provider. Stay away from this company unless you want to waste time, money, and sanity.”

“If I could it would be a rating of negative 10. I have a signed lease agreement stating my monthly lease fees are $0.00 due at lease followed by 26 payments of $0.00 With a total monthly lease payments of $0.00. They are still charging an every 2 week fee. On top of that, the state department that's governess them told me they can't help me and I need to hire an attorney. This must be all about money and definitely not to do what it is for. Which I thought was accepting responsibility for my actions. The whole judicial system will not offer any assistance, from the Judge, public defenders office down to the officials I am supposed to contact for any issues. IN ADDITION, MY DUI WAS NOT FOR ALCOHOL. I DID NOT REGISTER OVER THE LEGAL OF .08 IN TENNESSES. HOWEVER AI HAD AN OPEN CONTAINER AND THE DUI WAS FOR DRUGS. I WILL NEVER EVER GET A DUI AGAIN.”

“It's been 2 years since I've completed to requirements, and Intoxalock has still not submitted my letter of compliance to the state so that I can get my unrestricted license back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I call and they pass me around to 5 different people who put me on hold only to eventually hang up on me.”

“Horrible people that have the intelligence of a squirrel. They got my name wrong on all the forms and they didn’t correct it and send out new forms and certificates for a whole additional week. I still haven’t received anything. They’ve cost me over 1200 dollars bc my car is in the tow yard waiting for a certificate for the dmv to release the vehicle. This intoxalock company is a jokes the owners need to be ashamed of themselves for the poor and incompetent service they are providing.”

“You cannot speak to anyone in customer service. They will lockdown your car if you have a lockout and are behind a few dollars on your account. They state requirements on testing on their breathalyzer in the hopes that you will miss the hard to hear beep that requires you to blow in the device, which generates a $85.10 fee. This company is the worst , do not use their service!! Their business practices border on the illegal.9”
