“straightforward and simple to use. Gave a range of options on prices and delivery dates (all better than An Post) and was kept informed every step of the way so could see where the parcels were. The process was completed with a photo of the parcesl arriving at their destionation from Tipperary - Perth in 6 days (including weekend)”

“Irish Parcels do not receive bookings on Sunday Evening for Monday, the next day(collection wise). When you call them, to rebook for the next day, the agents do not actually rebook, but rather make no change at all. So you have called and received a "confirmation email' but no one actually appears to collect your packages, thus losing your time and effort. The cause of this issue is unknown, perhaps an agent, the agent's abilities, or the system upon the agent works upon. Because we are a business, and need packages collected and delivered on the scheduled dates, this cheap mistakes cost my consideration of transferring. Really bad service overall, and unability to pinpoint the problem.”

Hi Peter G, thank you for your review and for using Irish Parcels. We would like to highlight that you can place a booking on a Sunday evening for a collection on Monday. We can see you placed a booking on the 30th of November at 9:28PM and you were sent your confirmation email that contained your shipping labels around 3 minutes later for your booked collection on Monday the 1st. Your chosen courier, DPD confirmed your collection for that date however just after 1PM you called us to reschedule your collection and advised our team that you wanted to reschedule the collection for the 2nd. You advised us that you called DPD who said they could not collect on the 1st however this was confirmed and assigned to a driver on their system before being rescheduled. This was rebooked for collection correctly on the 2nd and DPD did attempt collection however this was outside the standard 9AM - 6PM timeframe. All couriers in December can be extremely busy due to Christmas parcels and Black Friday which can cause this but all couriers will always attempt to collect and deliver as many shipments as possible. There were no mistakes made by Irish Parcels or our team. This has been rebooked for a collection on the 3rd of December with DPD and the depot have been made aware of the previous collection issues and we have highlighted this as an urgent collection. If this has not been collected by 3PM, please let our team know so that we can call the depot directly to check on this collection for you. We must note that we are extremely disappointed with your reciew. You have booked many shipments with various couriers using Irish Parcels without any major issues reported throughout 2025. We would appreciate if you could update your review until your shipment is delivered as our team are keen to make sure that everything goes smoothly.

“I've used this service twice now and the delivery is much faster and i appreciate that i dont have to print out customs forms when i need to fill them out for sending parcels abroad. It saves so much time for me that they send it on electronically.”

“I used Irish Parcels to send two boxes from Dublin to Germany via DPD as a test run, and I was very satisfied. Collection happened on the scheduled date, the driver called on arrival (helpful since my building has no reception), and delivery was on time according to the tracking. Everything arrived in the same condiction as it left my home, with no damage. I labelled all sides of the boxes, added an extra label inside as instructed, and taped all the boxes securely It ended up looking a bit like a Frankenstein box with all the tape, but I prefer being cautious to ensure it wouldn’t open during handling. Also, make sure to use proper moving boxes if you want your items well protected). Overall, the process was smooth, and I’d use the service again”

“Sent a parcel to Canada with Irish Parcels. Not the cheapest courier but I went by the reviews. I found their customs for to be very confusing and difficult to fill out. Parcel was picked up as scheduled and delivered as scheduled. My problem came when it came to delivery they said I had additional fees. They did not tell me what for. They also said that if I did not pay it before delivery there would be unspecified additional fees added. I could not get any satisfactory response from either Irish Parcels or UPS (who delivered it) what these fees were for. I have contacted Irish Parcels and there response was they don’t know. Contacted UPS and I have been around the block with 6 contacts saying it is not their department and sending me on my way. I do not recommend this company. I will not be using again.”

We can see that this was safely delivered on the 14th of November. We are extremely disappointed with your two star review. We did provide the advance warning about the possibility of customs charges and your shipment was delivered safely and as expected. We do advise all customers prior to payment that you are paying Irish Parcels for the shipping costs only and that there may be additional customs fees which are separate to the shipping costs. These costs are calculated by the customs authority in Canada as well as the couriers customs team who will liaise with you to ensure these are paid and your parcel can be delivered as soon as possible. As UPS are the chosen courier in this instance, they should be able to provide any documentation for this and we're sorry if they weren't able to assist.
