“Gave address and eircode and the comany went to a different address ( associated with the package owner) to collect. Driver was not happy, nut not his fault. No idea why they went there, seems they had the address from a previous order and just used it without checking with the person who booked it. Other than that it was fine but a big hullabaloo and time spent sorting it out.”

Hi Byron, thank you for your review. The eircode provided to the courier was the eircode that was given to Irish Parcels at booking. You can see this in any confirmation emails and the labels that were provided. Irish Parcels did not change this in any way and it appears that an incorrect eircode was given to us. At no point were we contacted about any collection issues otherwise our team, would have been able to assist and update any address details to rebook a collection for you. We can see that despite this, the parcel was delivered safely and on time. Irish Parcels has a dedicated customer service team who are always happy to assist with any issues you may have. “I needed to send a box of books to Spain. My first time using Irish Parcels.ie and I was impressed. The parcel was collected the next day and delivered exactly when they said it would be. I was kept informed of its location during the whole process. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely use this service again.”

“Service was essentially fairly good - the parcel was ultimately delivered on time, at the cost stated. Difficulty arose from the fact that the parcel was being sent to the US, which made the transaction quite complicated, and better information/instructions would have been helpful in navigating this.”

“We are a new, small business, and we’re initially unsure if using a third party agent for booking courier parcel collections would be reliable. But having used several times now with both DPD and UPS, I have been impressed by the fact that everything has gone so smoothly. Prices are often better than going direct, pickups have happened on the selected day, and deliveries have all occurred within the stated timescales. Customer service is responsive too, as my general enquiries have always been dealt with within just a few hours and by a competent person based in Ireland. So all in all it’s been a great start to this business relationship and long may it continue!”

“Extremely disappoint with this service from the start. Items were due to be collected on Thursday to be delivered the following Monday. Despite assurances and a lot of back and forth the items were only collected the following Tuesday and then arrived broken and unusable. First and last time using this service, would not recommend based on my experience.”

Hi Michael, thank you for your review and for using Irish Parcels. We're sorry to hear of any issues you may have had with your shipment. It is very rare for well packaged items to be damaged however we can see from your image that these were not packaged appropriately for a couriers network where these will be transported through an automated system, travel down chutes and conveyor belts with other heavy and large items. These tiles were sent with nothing protecting or separating the titles from each other. The smallest movement would have resulted in the tiles hitting off one and other causing damage in this instance. “Would definitely use again. Sent a large family portrait/photograph from UK to Dublin. Process was straightforward and timely. Pick up from my home was easy. Direct phone call to Irish parcels regarding customs declaration problem was answered rapidly and the problem was easy rectified by Irish Parcels. Only minor point was that an email confriming delivery would have been helpful.”
