“There's really not much that went right over the three times that we gave Irish Parcels a go. Drivers that never turn up, don't use their phones to keep you informed - apparently he got stopped by Garda for having a 'bald tyre' (his words, not mine), making him 2 days late - threw our FRAGILE parcel into the truck. GLS was contacted to deliver and they just kept the inefficiency up to the last. Our customer was furious. I.P have used vry excuse not to give a full refund....There will NOT be a fourth offer made.”

We take this type of feedback very seriously as we always strive to provide our customers with the best service possible. We are very sorry that you feel let down by our courier partner - as advised via email correspondence, we will pass this feedback onto our courier who will internally investigate this further. As a booking agent we do offer more than one courier service and would always advise on using a service more suited to your needs. As the items are sent on a non-guaranteed service we are not reimbursed any of the costs of the shipments for a delay of any sort by the courier. However, I can see that our customer support team has offered compensation in line with our terms and conditions. Again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. “My experience with Irish parcels was very satisfactory but the courier service they used was one day late collecting the parcel.”

We are very sorry that your items were collected a day late - although the vast majority of our collections and deliveries take place on the expected date, Irish Parcels is not a time-guaranteed service, only estimated. “The parcel was picked up and delivered within the forecast time framce of 5 days. I am pleased with the service, however, I would have preferred if I had been sent a text message on the day of delivery informing me of the approximate time of arrival. Purely by chance I happened to be at home.”

Thank you very much for your review. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide specific time-slots for collections or deliveries ahead of booking as these times are set upon by the courier. All of our collections and deliveries take place any time between 9am-6pm. However, if you give us a call on the morning of your collection/delivery, we should be able to help you get a more precise time from the courier directly. We hope this helps for next time.

“The quote was quick, gave me a range of couriers/prices. Paid for the courier by card. The payment system was clear that if I paid by PayPal there would be an extra charge. Tracking number handy. Was able to see that the parcel was on the list for the courier to collect that day. Parcel collected. Friendly courier. Parcel received 23 hours later. If there is anything that could be improved, it would be to give a time slot to the customer (even if it is 9am to 12 noon or 1pm - 5pm). Would be helpful. Overall very good. And very handy. Thank you. Will use again.”

“The courier never turned up after I waited in for 12 hours. The tracking system posted a message"failed collection as customer not in" at 8 30 pm even though the time was 7:30pm approx. I did receive an apology form Anthony. The parcel is still in transit and its now 8days since I placed order”

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the issues you experienced with your collection. Although the vast majority of our collections take place on the expected date, we recognise that factors beyond our control may cause delays. We believe that the time difference on the tracking information was simply due to the courier's internal systems still being an hour forward. I can see that our customer support team rescheduled this collection for the date you requested (19th April). I can see via the tracking information that the shipment is currently in transit to the final destination. As this is an estimated 2-3 working day service, your delivery should be expected on Friday 21st April or Monday 24th April - however, we recommend keeping an eye on the tracking information, as this will update to reflect when the item is out for delivery. Again, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. If you have any further questions about your shipment, please do let us know and we will be more than happy to help.

“I found Irish Parcels by mistake when looking at dhl tnt etc... site was very user friendly and what was great was that TNT was more expensive than using TNT through Irish Parcels and i sent 1 box to south Korea on the Thursday before the Easter Weekend and it was delivered on the Monday / tuesday which was very good as i expected a slight delay with the long weekend thanks guys look forward to using your service again. Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that your item has not yet been delivered. Although the vast majority of our deliveries take place on the expected date, we recognise that factors beyond our control may cause delays. We believe that this delay has been caused due to the tracking label coming off the item. Without a tracking label the item cannot move through the automated systems. The item needs to be identified and re-labelled before being sent on for delivery. I can see that our customer support team is currently liaising with our courier in order to get this issue resolved. As soon as we receive an update from our courier, our customer support team will be in touch. We thank you for your patience and co-operation with this.
