“For the most part I (we) were pleased with the Isle Blue experience. The property itself was excellent and in very good condition. The cleaning and mtc staff were friendly, and completed their work efficiently and professionally. We were slightly disappointed to learn that we could not use the kayaks on the open water but had to limit use to the Chalk Sound. Also the hot tub was no longer usable as a hot tub but rather as an ornamental piece. We were not told of this in advance. Also we were not told that in addition to the damage deposit with Isle Blue that we had to leave a 2nd deposit on behalf of the owner with the property manager. Again this was something we were not informed of. Otherwise a beautiful well appointed property. We would recommend the owners consider providing paddle boards for use in the main water system in addition to kayaks for use in the main water body.”

“Property was just ok, the chef and cleaning ladies were outstanding !! Super friendly and food Patricia prepared was unreal. Margarite even pressed our shirts. Both were top notch. Found it odd we never did see the property manager. Would have thought they would have met us and welcomed us to explain the property. Toilet was plugged and they never showed and they finally came to pump the septic twice so the smell for the day was unbearable. Then who ever did the septic somehow turned off the water so no one could shower before dinner, someone finally came to turn back on the water. Pool was low in water and was making weird sounds, again no one came and we had to figure out how to fill up the pool. Things you don’t expect from Isle Blue.”

“A taste of paradise. The grounds, villas and beach area are beautifully maintained with top notch service. The staff at Isle Blue goes out of their way to accommodate their guests. I will definitely be a return guest. Our main concierge, Diana, was so helpful (as was everyone) and really went out of her way to personalize our needs. Our next villa, recommended by Diana, will accommodate a family reunion next year. Isle Blue will make your vacation a joyous and memorable one!”

Good day Chuck, Thank you for your review. I will be happy to address your concern. Please note that you did not reach out to our company but I understand that you communicated with the local property manager. For your clarification, at no point do we advertise the property as a beachfront property or has access to a beach. The initial villa you reserved was a beachfront property but you cancelled that reservation and booked the other property without our input or consult. You may have conflated the two properties. We do appreciate your feedback.

“The photos and descriptions of the property were very accurate and informative. The only information I was not informed of is the mandatory insurance coverage. This should just be part of the rental fees and not an add-on since it's not optional.”
