“Replaced entire dash cluster due to faulty stepper motors and digital read-out on 2004 Duramax. The internet order was easy, shipping was fast and sending back the core was free with return label enclosed. The only con I have is the replacement dash plastics on the back side of dash are from someone else's core that is rebuilt. The one I received was cracked and obviously had a lot of hard mileage on it. The front clear plastic was new though.”

“Suburban instrument cluster replacement - A little expensive, I think it's kind of a racquet, but its still half the price of having it done for you by a shop. The process was super easy from ordering, receiving, returning core and installation. Overall good experience.”

“I bought a new instrument cluster from ISS after the one in my ‘03 Tahoe started giving me all kinds of problems. I was really happy with the video provided on their site showing how to remove and replace the part. I’m not strong in the auto repair realm. The replacement was easy, and the cluster came to life perfectly. In fact, it’s better than it has EVER been, what with the blue LED lighting and transmission temperature gauge I added as an option to the cluster. But when I started my truck, it almost immediately died. And again. And again. It was idling too low. The truck would run if I had my foot in the throttle, but not if I lifted it up. That made going around neighborhood corners tricky. A Google search suggested that maybe the electronics had to re-learn the idle. My truck ran perfectly prior to the replacement, so electronics HAD to be the issue. I sat in the truck for some time trying to get the electronics to re-learn. The next day, I emailed ISS to find out if this was common, and asked if I needed to do anything special. No answer. At all. Luckily, after a week or so, the electronics do seem to have found a proper idle, and I’m thrilled with my new cluster. I just wish ISS would have told me to give it some time in response to my email. It would have saved a lot of heartache and stress. Still, I highly recommend the part, if not the customer response department.”

“I ordered a replacement gauge for my Yukon Denali. It arrived the next day and solved my problem, came with a box and instructions to ship back my core, very easy. I just wish it had said somewhere that I was purchasing a refurbished gauge”

Hi Julie, thanks for your feedback. Given the year of your vehicle, you will not find a new cluster on the market. All clusters older than 8 years old will be remanufactured. Even if you go to the dealer, they will use remanufactured from a company like ours. We plan on updating the description to help make this clear for folks. “The product is functioning properly and looks great. It does seem there might be some backlights that we’re not replaced during the rebuild. Minor issue. Also, I would have liked to have instructions or an instructional video or link for my specific vehicle. I did find one on a competitors web site that was pretty good although they even missed a couple of screws for disassembly. No problem. It took about 1.5 hours start to finish.”

“Great job fixing my odometer. Only problem is that I was told on the phone that they could retrieve original miles and set it to that. I got it back fixed, but with the estimated miles I had told them.”
