“I felt the price is too high for the product but stikl ordered thunking it will be a beautiful way to accessorise my saree. It certainly didnt match my expectation for paying close to 2k and the earrings dont match the neckpiece.”

I’m sorry this didn’t turn out the way you expected, especially at that price. The earrings not matching the neckpiece is definitely disappointing when you’re buying the set to accessorise a saree. “De stoffen zijn prachtig, daar is niets op af te keuren. Echter had ik mij niet gerealiseerd dat jullie een kleinere stofbreedte hebben. Het is nu puzzelen om uit 1.5 meter stof een blouse te halen. Helaas zal ik niet meer bij Itokri kopen. Ik had voor 100 euro gekocht (In totaal 4 meter stof), daardoor hoefde ik geen verzendkosten te betalen. Maar moest daarop nog 45 euro invoerrechten betalen. Dus ik was niet bepaald goedkoop uit. De informatie daarover zou op de site wat duidelijker moeten zijn.”

Het spijt ons dat de stofbreedte voor u onverwacht kwam en dat dit het maken van uw blouse zo lastig maakt. We begrijpen heel goed dat de breedte van de stof een belangrijke informatie is bij het bestellen. Uw opmerking hierover is heel terecht en we zullen ervoor zorgen dat deze informatie op onze website duidelijker wordt vermeld. Ook begrijpen we uw teleurstelling over de €45 aan invoerrechten. Hoewel deze kosten door de douane van het land van bestemming worden bepaald en helaas buiten onze directe controle vallen, begrijpen we dat dit voor u als een onverwachte extra kostenpost voelt. We zullen ook kijken hoe we hierover vooraf duidelijker kunnen communiceren. Het spijt ons oprecht dat deze ervaring ervoor heeft gezorgd dat u niet meer bij iTokri wilt bestellen. “Always up for supporting small business and local artisans. I have ordered a woman scarf. Scarf is pretty but the pictures are too perfect and the scarf doesn’t look like the pictures. Finishing is not proper. I ordered it to gift it to someone but didn’t like it enough to gift it.”

“The overall experience of marketing, shopping and shipping has been great but the downfall is definitely the end product. The sarees were crumbled,crushed and had literally been inefficiently packed. The material is okay. The quality we will know after a period of usage but from the looks of it felt very sub slandered quality.”

Just to share a little about this piece, the dupatta is made in Kota Doria, a traditional weave known for its lightweight, airy feel and distinctive square-check pattern. Its beauty lies in being soft, breathable, and easy to carry, especially in warm weather. Because of this weaving style, Kota Doria is naturally finer and lighter than many other fabrics. That said, we completely understand that fabric preferences vary, and we're sorry it didn't meet your expectations in terms of weight and value. “Generally I like the product/material I regularly order from iTokri but nowadays find the fabric quality not upto mark. One recent one ordered is thin material and will need lining. On the description page this info of whether lining is needed or not should be displayed. Then people who don’t like lining will not buy this and waste money. Thanks”

“I like the material which is cotton but I order 2 times both times I found the colours are different as it showed on the app . I am giving one star due to the small gift they send which I appreciate . I also feelliitle more pricey . Tjanks”

“Recently I order set of kalamkari shirt or dupata set it’s 2 piece set price 1699 cotton is soft but a lot of colour washed out after ist wash overall In terms of quality wise product is expensive it’s my first order delivery is super fast . Thanks it’s my honest Review 😊”

“The prints are pretty and the cotton of good quality, but the colors are not fixed and discolor a lot even after several soakings with vinegar and salt. You should warn your customers!”

“I like that you source authentic Indian fabric. However it will help if you mentioned the nature of fabric in the description. I was particularly looking for softer fabric - like the one in sanganeri print. I know you have handloom fabric for the kalamkari and ajrak but I wanted softer & finer cotton. I”

“It took a while for the order to arrive. I kept getting messages that there was a problem with the order. I was beginning to worry that I'd been scammed but eventually, they told me the reason for the problem was that the order could only be delivered in 2 different lengths due to the handmade nature of the cloth. I was repaid promptly and the rest arrived, beautifully packed. I have washed the fabric and there was no shrinkage. I was very pleased with the fabric a would recommend supporting this company”
