“I bought a kurta. Material was not as shown. It was OK but I was dissapointed because it was a little coarser that the picture. Colour was a deeper blue. The price, Rs. 1599 is quite high, so I had expected better quality.”

“I bought 2 kalamkari sarees. Colours are slightly dull in real. Not as bright as shown on website. But the customer service is brilliant! Always get a quick and helpful response from the team. But the price i paid for the kalamkaris is cheaper than elsewhere so i consider it okay for the price i paid. Thank you so much for the beautiful cushion cover (a surprise) and the hand written note. That gave me a raw, cosy feel of back home. Thank You.”

“Total order for fabrics egg came to £45.80 however it cost me £63.41 in post and packing then £4 for the money to be converted, whilst the fabric pieces are lovely I won't be ordering again due to the huge post and packaging costs.”

“I have been purchasing products from itokri since it’s launch. I’ve trusted their authenticity and made many purchases big and small over the years. I’ve always been a happy customer up until my last experience. Products going out of stock days after a purchase has been made ( there should be a better inventory management), product not entirely matching the picture shown and the fitting not being the same as described in the size chart etc have all been a very disappointing experience. Don’t know if I’m convinced I’ll shop again.”

“You guys are very sweet. I really appreciated your note and free gift. I'm sorry but I was disappointed in the quality of my order. I sampled your incense years ago and really liked it. This recent purchase seemed old. It had a bite to it. That's the only way I can describe it. The odor was very faint. I had to light 5 or 6 sticks on order to smell anything. Especially the Tuberose. It has no rose fragrance at all. I remembered previously that I really liked it. The free gift turned out to be the only one I liked. I'm sorry. Your customer service is excellent and I appreciate your earnestness.”

“The products were good. However I was told after my ordering and payment that the item was available only as 2 pieces! I had to settle for some other item for the same value which was not my preferred choice. Disappointed.”

“Hi, I have been a regular customer since the start of itokri and have recommended it to so many friends! For the first time, I was disappointed with the quality of products sent. It would be best if the envelopes’ design could be pre-selected instead of sending assorted ones. Some kalamkari envelopes I got at were of very poor quality. I even got 2 envelopes of the same design! I wish I had received ones of higher quality and better designs. Please ensure that customer can select the designs they want. Thank you.”

“Do not use this site for sending international shipments or gifts. They give you a tracking number which is useless. If you follow up they send another tracking number and duties are charged from the recipient and there is no option for the sender to pay. Call centre gives conflicting information. Products are good but use them only for domestic shipments”

“This was my first order after multiple research with iTokri A lot needs to be improved. I bought 6 cushion covers- 4 from one set and 2 another. I ended up with 4 diff sizes ranging between 14 inches to 15.5 inches. No two are alike. The stitching is not good and the way the zip is placed, may not last long. They sent a personal handwritten note thanking- which was nice. It is not about the price- but Rs125/ cushion cover for shibori where the price / meter is about Rs 120/ and workmanship is poor is not worth it. I will not recommend and not shop until I know the quality is improved. Sudha Thomas”
