The real test of a company is how it resolves problems. JC Penney's sent a worker to put up shades. Worker said he did not have all the parts and left early on a Friday. We found parts under the bed. Because he failed to put them up, we were put at the end of the line and had to wait all over again. When our second set of blinds arrived, they were missing parts. We had to wait for parts to come in and then had to wait at the end of the line all over again. JCP's management does not feel this is unfair. And, they are unapologetic about letting you know this. So, both sets of blinds were to be up in the spring, and it is mid,-July. We are at the end of the line waiting. I am astounded that its management thinks this is makes sense. Moreover, JCP has not only lost us as customers. Indeed, it has lost all the positive advertisement that we could have given it. Surely, it would be a better business model to hire someone to take care of customers like me? Every customer it does not gain because of me is lost revenue?

I've been a customer of JCPenney for YEARS. Their shipping policy has changed all of that for me. Under THEIR direction, my package was sent over from UPS to our local USPS delivery. And, surprise surprise, it never arrived. I called JCP for help. Guess what - I, THE CUSTOMER, is now responsible for the time/effort to locate this package. Call to UPS to find out the transfer of package information ("per seller's request...") so another call had to be made to USPS (total wait time until the next available represenative - 36 MINUTES)) If you ever wonder why JCP is falling in the ratings/sales, this is ONE place you can start. Shipping. I can only assume you were trying to save some money on shipping costs. Well, guess what? In the long run, you've lost future business. This is ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN. P.S. Last order took almost two WEEKS to get here. Should've learned from that one.

I’m a loyal customer. I’m usually in Penny’s at least once a week in women’s wear. I must say, for the last year maybe more any time I come, she makes her way to greet me and I can tell her what I need & where I’m going. She starts grabbing things that I would like!! She needs to be recognized for her great customer service her name is kassidy. She’s so sweet with impeccable customer service. Ok also the store is very beautiful, I must say I love to give a review about customer service and I can give a lot of girls zero stars mostly bc every time I come in there is no one at the register and if there is the chitchatting & not helping anyone. So it is truly nice when you find A-1 customer service “kassidy” to be review

No wonder you losers are basically going out of business. You closed my account due to inactivity without informing me first and I was literally about to go to the local store this evening and buy some bras using my card. Got an e-mail from Credit Karma telling me it was closed a couple hours ago. I called customer service and got some foreign a**hole who was reading a script off a card. I sent a message to a chat agent and their response was basically "we don't legally have to". I am not saying that it wasn't in the fine print, I'm saying it's poor business practice to do so. You have someone that actually wants to come to your garbage store and you close their account.

Just went on JC Penny online site. Worst online shopping site I've ever been on. Screen was "Jumping," flashing, and regardless of what I accurately selected, it automatically went to a different product. Hey Folks at JC Penny, you just LOST a SALE and a customer due to your mediocre online site. Walmart has a superior site in comparison!!!

ordered a shirt online "ship to store" waited almost a month still no shirt no one can tell me where it is? They charged my credit card next day after order, when I asked to cancel order they told me unless I go to the store that I still had to pay the shipping for an item they lost? POOR POOR customer service I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!

ok, last Christmas holidays they have online sale of rings, as said diamond ring with a white gold , I was so excited to buy it, for a while It looks fine but as it gets longer the ring faded like from a white gold to yellow metal, I guess, it looks so tacky, its from hallmark designs and I was so disappointed, I wonder who are those people giving 5* reviews on a fake diamond rings, I bought it for 267$ . Do not be deceived by JC Penny especially buying online...

Poor product quality. I purchased four kitchen appliances and spent over six thousand dollars. Deliveries were substandard. Incorrectly done and failed to correct the issue in a timely manner. All four appliances were broken or damaged. Customer service was not helpful or unable to resolve. One device was never fixed and had to get a refund. It was a terrible experience. I do not recommend Samsung products or JC Penny.

I ordered, bought and paid for in full, a recliner chair last Nov. 20. To date, I STILL do not have it and have gotten zero communication from the local Penney store despite my repeated trips in there and requests for help. I would never deal with them again - they know my situation and have made no effort to correct it. VERY POOR service (and it is now February!)

I always order curtains for all of my windows and never had a problem and they have a large selection of curtains to choose from. I didn't know that JCP offers in-home custom curtains and design services. you really need to advertise that more. well anyway I never had any problems with JCP and will always go to them for my window treatments.

I had the pleasure of meeting a very courteous, professional, thorough & knowledgeable employee in the appliance dept. Michelle did an outstanding job in helping me with my selection. I was extremely pleased with the service received from her. Those are the types of traits that makes outstanding customer service. Good looking out Michellle😁

I bought a pair of gold earrings on Dec 23. Wore them Dec.24. within a couple of hours, one fell out of my ear and was gone! I coulofi d it anywhere! Long story short and numerous attempts to get satisfaction - nothing will be done unless I bring both earrings back! Bingo! One is gone forever and I'm stuck paying $120. for a useless earring that I'll never wear. #JCPenneycustomerservicesucks

Purchased a set of rings at the West Mifflin PA store a week before Thanksgiving that had to be resized. I was informed it would take 2-4 weeks which was OK, since it was intended to be a Christmas gift. Contacted the store at the two week mark and was told they were not back. Went to the store at the four week mark mark, and after an extensive search they found the rings, BUT THEY HAD NEVER GONE OUT TO BE RESIZED!!! If my mother hadn't wanted them so badly I would have demanded a refund, but was told they would go out ASAP, and as a rush order. Subsequently, didn't have them for Christmas, but they finally came in SEVEN WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE. I will NEVER spend another cent at JC Penny!!!!

I ordered a boot $110.00 buy one get 2 free pre - black friday sales. after a few days i received one. The other two have been stories. December i was refunded for one pair again and told that the other pair was in the mail. until January now they are telling me that they have refunded the remaining pair this month. it is a shame for a big company to treat customer like that. i live on paycheck to pay check. i used to like JCpenny, but now i don't think i can recommend it to any one. Sorry.

We bought a whole suite of Samsung appliances for our new home. Frig, oven, dishwasher, washer and driver (all top of the line). Rebates were offered. I filled out all the forms and submitted them with proof of purchase. 13 months later still no rebate. I've sent emails and visited the store 3 different times where I discussed it with management. Still nothing. If Pennys offers you a rebate on purchases I would steer clear. They do not honor them. I would sue for false advertising but would cost me more than the offered rebates were. I've learned my lesson. I would give them zero stars if it were an option.

I got excellent service from sales & customer relations. They answered all my questions. They were professional, courtesy, friendly, and knowledgeable. This was my first time buying something on with JC Penny and I would I highly recommend JC Penny to my friends & family. Sales and customer relations gave me the BEST service that I ever received purchasing online with any company including Amazon. I am a very happy JC Penny customer and would definitely buy again from JC Penny.
