Customer service from some members of staff is shocking.

Ordered a chain from the website, then was faced with an email a day later that the charm was out of stock. This is now a week ago and have had no further information about this charm which was ordered for a birthday. I have also tried multiple of times to get in touch either over phone or email but again had no luck. I would defiantly NOT recommend using this website. Poor customer services

Not happy my wife ordered a gift for my birthday that said it was in stock after order was placed a email then said it wasnt in stock no respone to emails or phone calls poor standards

Was sold an item that was out of stock and wasn't told this until 5 days later. When I rang them about my money I spoke to a snotty woman who told me that I must have read wrong and it was all my fault ect. I then had to wait 10 days for the refund. The item that I purchased was a birthday present which I never ended up getting.

Do not buy as they post everything by royal mail and no guarantee you receive it

Will never buy again. They choose when they want to reply to emails or pick up the phone. Called couple of times and longest waites 45min and gave up.

after being assured that they had what I wanted in stock I received the wrong size and then was told on returning the order that they did not have it and they would have to order it from another supplier. not a happy internet experience, would not use them again discount on the order did not work either.

My husband purchased me a nomination charm with a cancer bow on it, the enamel came off so he was told to return it which he as, postage paid by us, he was told we would get a replacement within 2 weeks this as not happened, so he telephoned joshua james and was told by one of the advisers that the charm still was not in stock but because of the messing around and because they couldnt be sure when we would get the replacement that we could have a refund, but on speaking to the next adviser he was told because it is over a year we can only have a replacement even though it is faulty and they have no idea when we will get another. My husband asked to speak to a manager that was 2days ago and we still have had no call from him, too busy to speak to paying customers who have spent hundreds of pounds at joshua james, so i am advising anyone thinking of purchasing from joshua james, there after sales customer service is disgusting they dont deserve custom when they cant even be bothered to make contact with customers, i will never give them my custom again!!!

Hi, I apologise that you are waiting on a replacement charm, this charm has been on back order and we are waiting on delivery of this, although we don't have an exact date at the moment we are expecting to receive this within the next week. We advised two weeks as a guide, and at the moment we are only just over the two weeks. As you have had the original charm for 14 months we wouldn't have been able to offer a refund on this, as charms need returning to us within 21 days for a refund, after this time a repair or replacement is offered. When my colleague spoke to your husband she did ask if he wished to exchange the charm for something different that we had in stock so that it could be dispatched straight away, but he chose to wait for this charm. I didn't think the service I received was good. The website was unclear when I submitted my order for a graduation hat charm which was ordered for next day delivery. Not only did I not get the charm I wanted but the charm didn't arrive the next day. When I contacted to ask for a refund they wouldn't give me one. I have ordered a lot from this site before so wasn't happy on this occasion!

Hi, I am sorry you are unhappy with the service you received. When you ordered the graduation charm this was marked as out of stock on the website, this is also stated on your order confirmation email that you received straight after placing the order. Although this was out of stock with us, orders can still be placed and your preferred delivery option can be selected for when the item is back in stock with us. At no point was a refund refused, I personally emailed you to see if you would like the order cancelling, but you opted to change the charm, which I did and your order was sent out on a next day delivery service. Because I paid for Next Day Delivery which you don't deliver on a Saturday so you shouldn't have taken my money for it......

I currently have 2 orders outstanding with Joshua james for the last 5 weeks , when I ordered it was advised 6-8 days , my girlfriends birthday is tomorrow so I feel I ordered in plenty of time . The updates have failed to arrive and I have had to chase , I still do not have an advised delivery date. When I contacted Joshua James to see if they could offer a goodwill gesture towards another purchase whilst I waited , I was told because I had used a discount code on the orders I am waiting for They were not willing to offer a discount towards a further purchase. The fact I took advantage of a discount code offered on this site is irrelevant. Please note this company has had over 400 pounds of my money for 5 weeks ! these are not small orders. I feel the service I have been given is terrible. I appreciate the delay may not be their fault , However I do feel customers should be kept better informed and offered a little good will for the inconvenience caused by the false advertising on their site. I am sorry to say this is not the first time I have encountered and issue like this with this company , If it wasn't for the large Thomas sabo range they stock I would not order from this company , I thought what with 5 weeks to spare , they may be able to manage it , I was very wrong. Very disappointing

ordered 2 items as a birthday gift, paid a charge for next day delivery but items did not arrive. Rang after 4-5 days to be told I was charged for next day delivery but my items where sent 1st class with Royal Mail instead. Told I would receive a refund which I am still waiting on and goods didn't arrive until 8 days after they where ordered. Not a good experience.

I order my goods on the 4th April and I still have not received it , I know I paid for standard delivery but I do feel it should have been here by now.

My mum brought me a links of London necklace for £130 as I had just had a baby and it being mothers day. When the item arrived we were horrified. It was rusty on the chain,plus in side the rings were all dirty and sounded like tin when they knicked together. I have a few items of links of London and never have I known them to rust. I have taken photos and contacted links of London directly.I have also spoken to a lady called Sarah in your customers service team to complain. I'm sad to say I won't be ordering anything from Joshua James again.

I have not received my order. I queried this with Joshua James and they stated it was just sent to my work address and they didn't put my name on. They said that this was my fault but when I mentioned they had sent items to this address before and I hadn't changed a thing in the saved addresses AND it had my name on they dismissed it. I still do not have the item I ordered and I am nearly £21.00 out of pocket and no mother's day gift. The customer service was actually disappointingly rude to the point they made me feel like a liar.

I placed 3 orders on 27/28th Feb, each being eligible for DPD next day delivery. Whilst a couple of items were out of stock, I expected the rest to be delivered the following day. This didn't happen on any of the 3 orders. 5 days later I contacted customer services because I needed the items for Mothers Day and was told they would be sent next day delivery (arriving Saturday 4th). I then received an email stating the items wouldn't actually be delivered until the day after Mother's Day (7th March), so I contacted them again to be told the member of staff hadn't indicated that next day delivery was required. It's now 6 days later and I haven't received any of the items I ordered, plus I won't have a present for my mum on Mother's Day. Even though they admitted their error, they were still unwilling to rectify the matter. Also, they cannot meet their DPD next day delivery assurance, because DPD don't operate at weekends!! This is not the first time I've had problems with this company. Delivery dates have not been met, they don't offer any explanation and I have had to chase the delivery each time. I will use up my remaining Loyalty Points but thereafter will never order from them again- Awful company.

I ordered items for my wife valentines present payed extra to have it hear before Valentine's Day call to say it had not arrived was told to call back in 14 days witch I did and now being told to leave it longer not very happy

Still waiting for my order that I've placed on the 10th January. I've emailed back and forth. All I get is wait 14 days. So this weekend my friend will have no birthday present!!! Thanks to Joshua James. Defo will not recommend

Firstly the wrong mg ring was sent just before Christmas payer extra.for next day delivery and took three days to then find out you sent the wrong ring! I've been trying by too find this email as the ring you sent me have diamond day missing I want a full refund and the ring.delivered as you said you would. This service.has been.absolutely atrocious Many thanks Scott sadler When you decide to correct this mess email me back please and we.Will.go from there

I ordered from Joshua James because of their "guaranteed" next day delivery. I placed my order with three days to spare and needed it to be on time because it was for my daughter's 18th Birthday. I received an email confirming my order but it stated that one item was out of stock (despite being in stock online when I ordered). I wasn't concerned as I assumed that the out of stock item would be dispatched at a later date, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT SAY THAT THE WHOLE ORDER WOULD WAIT FOR THE ONE ITEM. More fool me, and more fool anyone else, who might expect the retailer to explain that this was the case. No mention of delays. Needless to say my daughter is gutted that she has no present on her birthday. I called them to complain. No offer of compensation, of any sort. Barely an apology. Avoid like the plague.
