I placed an order last week for 2 nomination charms and paid extra for next day delivery. I've received an email saying the item is out of stock but I should get it before Christmas. I have tried emailing and calling numerous times with no success. Can I please either have a response to inform me of when the items should arrive with a reimbursement for the 'express delivery' or if the items are not available can I please have my money back.

Ordered 4 bracelets 24th November. Received package on 28th November containing somebody else’s order. Emailed same and rang same day to highlight problem (no answer or reply) they rang me on Wednesday 29th to advise me to return the wrong goods (which I did 1st class signed for on 29th) and they would send me my items and re inburse my postage. Still not heard anything from them despite them signing for the goods I sent back. Have tried to call all morning 6th December with no luck! Will not be buying from these ever again!!

I ordered over £200 of charms and a bracelet for my girlfriend and was told I would receive my good next day delivery!!! Then I got an email saying items are out of stock and will be delivered as soon as they are in stock. After reading the complaints on here I am very sceptical and would like to know what others have done. I’ve rang to no avail and emailed with no response. How are companies like this allowed to trade

Ordered charm says in stock then not then chose another one also out of stock they never answer phone either

One of the items I ordered a necklace, was sent in a tiny plastic bag, without any support, resulting in a knot forming in the chain. Had his item been submitted in the Sif Jakobs gift box that was on display alongside the necklace, this would have protected it. I have tried unsuccessfully to make telephone contact and twice on the contact us e-mail page. I have dealt with Joshua James in the past and given recommendations out to others, but on this instance I can only assume that if you have a problem uou,have to deal with it as there is no customer service back-up.

Hi.....my order was dispatched, two items, at the same time, however I have not received the bracelet. I have left a message with your care team but have had no response as yet. Could this be looked into please. Mrs coates

I purchased a charm which I needed urgently and paid for the next day DPD delivery. The next day I received an email saying the charm was out of stock!!!!! This is after paying and payment taken, also when I was supposed to receive the charm. When I phoned customer services were very unhelpful, made an excuse about computer systems, did not apologise but said I could buy the more expensive charm!!??!! I had no choice but to do this as I needed it urgently. I am more than disappointed and will not use Jonathan James again.

Ordered bead. Not in stock. Item dispatched allegedly but have received no evidence of this despite requests. Bead has not arrived Joshua James claiming has got lost in post have to wait two weeks before they will do anything. Have requested money back. Received an e mail telling me this does not normally happen. But it has. Have requested a refund to purchase item elsewhere. Not happy with the response. Absolutely awful customer service. Will not be purchasing from them again and will be advising everyone of this practise of paying for items not in stock. Seems to be other people who have had similar experience.

Ordered troll beads paid for them then told not in stock after numerous e mails told item would be dispatched. Once dispatched lost in post! Told would have wait two weeks before they could investigate with royal mail as it usually arrives next day. I know mistakes happen but if you have paid for an item should not have to wait three weeks to find out where it is. Surely items can be tracked in this day and age. I have ordered from them before with no problem. Beware when something goes wrong they simply do not care. Have an excuse for everything. Will never order from them again. Still waiting for response to latest e mail!

Be extra vigilant when ordering a gift from Joshua James. I ordered a Nomination bracelet and charm. It was sent loose in an envelope and the packaging was damp from transit. Although the dampness happened in transit, the item was not suitably packaged for transit which is vital for Jewellery. Also if you are someone like myself who is not familiar with Nomination make up, it arrived unmade and flat meaning I now have to go to a jewellers to have this sorted. Bit of a shame as this was a present.

i have purchased items from this company before and had very good service , however when something goes wrong as in my case i did not recieve the goods they just didnt want to know

I ordered nomination charms and bracelet as gifts for members of my family. My order arrived today and the charms were packed in one small clear bag and the bracelet was loose whete have been scracted from the staple on paperwork thats enclosed.

I have used this company on 2 previous occasions with no issues but when things go wrong they do not seem to want to know about problems

1) customer service is terrible - I'd love to post screenshots of the conversation i had with them on Facebook and post the recording of the call, it's absolutely terrible. The only reason I used Joshua James was for the variety of products (one of which said it was in stock, but it wasn't). 2) There are some terms and conditions on the offers which pop up on the website. Overall, not worth the hassle. I strongly recommend you avoid. I will never use again, there are hundreds of jewellery companies.
