My name is Niyasudheen, and I am writing from Ras Al Khaimah. I purchased a laptop approximately five months ago from Jumbo Electronics, Al Nakheel branch, Ras Al Khaimah. Recently, the device has developed an issue while charging, so I visited the branch to seek assistance. However, I am very disappointed with the behavior of one of your staff members. Instead of providing proper support, the staff member behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Additionally, he questioned my educational qualification, which is completely irrelevant and inappropriate in a customer service situation. If your company requires customers to have specific educational qualifications to purchase products, this should be clearly communicated. Otherwise, such comments are unacceptable and reflect poorly on your organization. Bought over 10,000 dirhams worth of appliances in store and never received them. It has been over a month that customer service says someone will call me and they don’t. I follow up every day. I filed a complaint with the department of economics and advise you to do the same if you are facing the same issue.

EXTREME CONSUMER FRAUD & MISLEADING TACTICS! "I had an absolutely pathetic experience with Jumbo Electronics. I purchased an iPhone 17 Pro Max through Tabby and received a written STOCK CONFIRMATION from their team. Based on their 'confirmed' stock, I drove 250km round trip from Al Ain to Abu Dhabi, only to be told they have NO STOCK when I arrived! They took my payment, confirmed the item was ready, and then wasted 5 hours of my time and my fuel. To make matters worse, a compensation Gift Card they gave me for a previous delay was also NOT WORKING for 4 days. Now, they are trying to force a cancellation of my paid order against my will instead of fulfilling the contract. This is a clear violation of UAE Consumer Rights. I have already filed a formal case with the Department of Economic Development (DED/TAMM) for 'Breach of Contract' and 'Consumer Harassment'. If you value your time and money, STAY AWAY from Jumbo Electronics. They mislead customers and provide zero accountability!

Terrible experience. I bought a smart watch for my son - around 100 AED. It had a 6 months warranty. After 5 months, it was not working anymore. We brought it for reparation, so far no problem as this can happen. After 2 weeks, received a call to collect a new watch instead of the previous one. And this one went down even faster, not even 3 months. I brought it again to the shop saying I do not want the watch anymore as it seems the whole series is not good and I want either take another item or a credit note. It was said to me the manager was not around, and the watch has to be collected again. I've accepted and this time, nobody called me even after days to come back and take it. I came again (what a waste of time) and it has been said to me I can only take back a new watch, the copy of the previous one, same series, same collection. I said NO, but of course, guess what, the manager is not available. At the end I had to come another time to ask for something, either taking back the money or a credit note to be used in-store but nothing was possible. In other words : they sell you a product that is not working and you can do nothing about it. I'll make sure to never let anymore lose his money like this.

Hi Team, I would like to bring to your attention my recent disappointing experience with your customer service. I spoke with a representative named Catherine regarding my laptop bag order, but I was very dissatisfied with the service provided. The responses I received were extremely delayed, which was frustrating, especially as I mentioned that I am traveling today and needed my order on time. When I placed my order on Sunday, I was informed by another representative that it would be delivered within two days. However, it has now been two days, and I have received no updates. I also requested to have my order cancelled, but I have not heard back regarding the cancellation request. As someone who also works in e-commerce and customer service, I know the importance of timely communication and prompt action. Unfortunately, this experience reflects poorly on your service standards. I am very disappointed by both the delay in processing my order and the lack of proper customer support. Please confirm the immediate cancellation of my order and ensure that no charges are applied.

Echt onacceptabel ik bestel echt nooit… Echt onacceptabel ik bestel echt nooit meer online !!! Te. Eerste heb ik zeven biologische bieten salade besteld. Zonder aankondiging is deze niet geleverd. WEL kwam mijn schoonmaakster om deze te juicen!!! Air milk had ik gecanceled en uit mn mandje verwijdert die hebben ze toch geleverd. En het ergste wat de jumbo doet is als ze iets niet kunnen leveren in mijn geval een bieten salade LEVEREN ze zonder hiervoor voorafgaand toestemming te vragen een koolsalade als ‘vervangend product en rekenen hier ook geld voor” het kool saladetje zit vol met gluten wat ik niet mag en vol saus wat ik nooit eet en toch berekenen ze geld !!!

I purchased a laptop (Model No: X1P-42-100/16/512G/SHARED/13, Serial No: 0f33v3r25253k9) from the Jumbo showroom at Mall of the Emirates on 26th July as a pre-order for Microsoft’s latest series. At the time of purchase, the Jumbo showroom salesperson informed me that there was a promotional offer including a Microsoft Arc Mouse and a backpack, and that these items would be provided on 29th or 30th July. However, I only received a message on 1st August at midnight to collect my order. When I went to collect it on 3rd August, I received the laptop and backpack, but not the Arc Mouse. When I inquired, the salesperson was unsure about the promotion. I had to argue with the team before they agreed to provide the mouse—after an additional three days. I followed up multiple times with the vendor’s representative and rarely received responses. Eventually, I only managed to collect the mouse on 9th August. As a customer, my dealer was Jumbo, but the issue was shifted to Microsoft’s promotional team. This miscommunication and lack of clarity misled customers and caused unnecessary inconvenience, requiring multiple visits to collect the promised items. For reference, I have attached the promotional material that was shown to customers at the time of purchase.

Please do your research before buying any product from Jumbo Electronics. What you get from the store is false and deceptive information to sell the product, followed by terrible customer service. Strongly recommend not to visit this store.

I was completely overwhelmed trying to fix an issue with a trading platform. No matter what I did, nothing worked. Then I came across Mrs. Olivia and her team. They approached my situation with such professionalism and patience. They kept me informed every step of the way, and in the end, they helped me find a fair and satisfying solution. I thought I had tried everything to solve my issue with an online trading platform, but nothing seemed to help. That’s when I decided to contact Mrs. Olivia and her team, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They were not only quick to respond, but they also demonstrated a level of professionalism and dedication that I truly appreciated. They took the time to listen to my concerns and worked closely with me to resolve the problem. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of assistance.

I’ve been a loyal and premium customer of Jumbo, having purchased almost all my electronics from your stores. However, my recent experience with your after-sales service has been deeply disappointing and unacceptable. When my mobile phone broke, I was shocked to be told it wouldn’t be repaired under the Salama protection plan because the damage was deemed “intentional.” This accusation is not only baseless but also highly offensive. As someone who runs a business, I simply do not have the time to deliberately damage my phone or go through the hassle of repairs unless absolutely necessary. I also lost valuable data due to this. While purchasing the Salama policy, I was strongly persuaded by your staff about its benefits. But when I needed the service, I was met with indifference. I even requested to speak with a store manager, but no one followed up—despite my premium status and repeated requests. It’s disappointing to see that while Jumbo is quick to take customers’ money, especially from those who regularly buy premium products, it completely fails to provide the support expected after the sale. The after-sales service has been completely unresponsive and dismissive. I will no longer be recommending or purchasing anything from Jumbo

I visited your store in mall of the Emirates and the service was terrible. Angel the cashier attention me and I didn’t like how she handled everything. I paid for a case and the money was debited on my end only for her to say that I would have to wait since the payment didn’t go through…..how that happened I don’t understand. You honestly need to do better and I need a refund asap!!!!!

never expected that protecting my new iPhone 15 Pro Max with Jumbo’s Salama Care would turn into a 5-month nightmare. After an accidental drop that caused serious screen damage, I submitted my phone for repair—confident that my Salama Care coverage (marketed as “equivalent to AppleCare”) would handle it. Instead, Jumbo claimed the damage was intentional, refused replacement, and kept my phone for over 5 months. No evidence was shared. No report provided. Just a flat rejection. Despite repeated follow-ups, I got no clear answers—only corporate deflection and stalling. It was only after escalating the issue to the UAE Ministry of Economy (Consumer Protection Department) that the matter finally started to move. I’m sharing this to warn others: Don’t trust glossy promises. Ask the hard questions before paying for extended coverage.

Terrible experience, I bought a Garmin online for a Christmas gift. The sight let me select it , buy it and it took my money , 6000 aed. I then went to collect it 2 days before Xmas from a store. They then spent 45 mins trying to find it and eventually said they couldn't find it and ill get my money back in 14 days. So I had no present and no money. They didn't really care , no apology.
