“The onsite cost was far higher than the online estimate, by almost double. I felt highjacked. They get you into a vulnerable position, then put the screws to you. On top of that they have the audacity to ask for a tip.”

“Service was fast . Workers were nice , clean and professional. However after they left we noticed a a chunk taken out of the wall which needs to be fixed and wall needs to be painted.”

“We hired Just Junk because I liked that they offered to recycle or reuse any items possible. I was forced to move (landlady sold the property) and had to get rid of a lot of stuff. I was overwhelmed and running out of time so it sounded like an amazing service. They arrived late and, only after they started throwing my stuff into the back of the truck and I questioned whether any items would be recycled, was I informed that because it was late they could not offer that service and everything would go to the dump. They were unable to rebook me in the time frame I needed and I was out of options. Everything was thrown in their truck and went to the dump. It was very upsetting and the price they charged was not adjusted in anyway. If you are just getting rid of garbage this is a good service, but their claim to "recycle and donate to extend your junk's life" is false advertising. Extremely disappointed with the experience.”

“Looking at other reviews here, I wish I could say the same. Using their online tool to rate how much it would cost to take away two sofas, I thought $350 was reasonable. When they arrived, they said it would be $480. Their explanation was, verbatim "The online tool is wildly inaccurate because it's based on Ontario prices". I'm in Alberta. After they gave a 2pm - 4pm window, they called after 4pm to reschedule for 5:30pm, only to call again at 4:45pm to say they would be here in 10 minutes. I was frustrated with trying to work other tasks around their unpredictable timing.”

“After getting charged $700 and tipping your workers $60, they left 2/6 garbage cans full of garbage and left garbage all over the ground that they said they would clean up.”

“Very friendly team. Reasonable price. Good communications and on-time as expected. Damage caused to a door during removal of items from apartment. Not noticed until after the team left. No recourse, but disappointed.”

“I called for help with removal of soil from backyard. 2 trucks arrived to assess the job and quote a price. Trevor quoted a price of around $700 to remove a "bed-load" of the soil, which he estimated would be about half of the total amount of excess soil that I had. Trevor added that it would cost me over $1100 to remove the entire amount of excess soil. But I felt that was way too much! So I agreed to pay the $700. Well...after a short period of work, and removal of only one-third of the soil, the guys declared they were done! In fact, they had dumped the soil into just one of their trucks that had already received quite a lot of junk from a previous job! Maybe that's why they stopped their work prematurely? BOTTOM LINE...I feel that I over-paid by a lot! So I am letting you know at that "all is NOT well" with Just Junk...and you may some areas where you need to improve.”

“Customer service was great. That is why I gave them 2 stars. Prices!!! I had a 52" TV, two golf club bags and a patio heater. I was advised that this would be priced out at 1/8th of a truck. The price was $161.70 plus tip. I foolishly gave a 20% tip. This transaction cost me close to $200.00 - they have no senior discount. They were also over an hour late within the timeframe given but they did call - what was I supposed to do - cancel them? I re-arranged my plans to be home. I will never use Just Junk again. As a senior and a widow, the price is way too high for me.”

“I have used just junk numerous times. Got a different crew this time. I had very little in scrap wood and drywall pieces. Maybe filled up a wheel barrow and some cardboard boxes. I would have run this stuff to the dump myself, but was extremely busy. The driver wanted to charge me $259 and said it was based on weight. I told them not interested and then he quickly change his tune, not once, but twice on price as I said not interested. We settled on a price, but unfortunately will never use JustJunk again.”

“Horrible pricing ,, do not use this company. I had been charged allmost 400 dollars for the removal of 6 small items . Yes very polite guys . People usually are nice to you when you’re getting ripped off . Extremely unhappy. I had phoned the company the girl on the phone was no help at all . Or just simply didn’t want to help . Didn’t seem like she even cared . Didn’t offer a number for complaints . I felt it was a very in fair price for what was moved . I will spread the word about just junk . Horrible company.”

“We had only a treadmill to be picked up. We moved it ourselves to the front yard so that all the guys had to do was bring it to the truck from the front steps of our house. They charged us $171 for a 5 minute job and stated that all treadmills are that standard price - and yet nowhere on their website does it state this, that I could find. What a complete rip off!”

“Dealt with Just Junk this past Saturday 20th Nov, 2021 for the first time and have nothing but good things to say. First contact with Mason during the initial estiate was on time and to the point. He was very efficient and had my quote ready within minutes. Any interactions I had with him or his manage Peter were great and response to a ny calls or questions were responded to immediately. On Saturday as promised Michael, Cole and another young man were on site exactly on time and began working. All three were extremely polite which made dealing with them a joy. Another crew of three and a truck showed up halfway through and the job was completed within two hours. Due to the efficiency and professionalism of the crew, the job was completed within the time quoted and approximately $400.00 to $500.00 below the quoted price. The whole situation of dealing with a tenant who vacated the property without notice, and left a disgusting mess in every room was extremely stressful and upsetting. It was a lot easier to deal with due to the efficiency, teamwork and professionalism of the JustJunk team. I recommend this company to anyone that finds themselves in that situation, and will use them again in a heartbeat. Once again , thanks for everything JustJunk team you are much appreciated Todd”

“They came quickly and on time but then wanted to charge $50 extra just to take a small mirror. I felt nickel and dimed. It would have been no big deal for them to just throw it in but they wanted more. I declined just on principal. Just felt it was poor.”

“I’ve used your service 3 times and the last 2 have been the same; I get a price online and my junk fits the description of the things (image) required for that price. Then once the crew get here I’m told a higher price, again even though I’m getting rid of junk that is either smaller or same as description. The experience leaves me feeling that I was ripped off, which has left me no alternative but to go with one of your competition.”
