“Sorry to say but you guys are a complete scam. Showed up to my home to say they wanted almost 600 to remove a perfectly good couch, china hutch and love seat. They could have donated this or sold it in a show room as it was all vintage. So angry”

“Was given an unreasonable quote to haul away one queen sized box spring. Even the final negotiated price was too much. I was led to believe that the quote would be given after filling out the online form. Not when the movers showed up.”

“My second review. Why did the guys tell me it was $450 to remove a couch, but they would do it for $250. I knew right there they were pulling one over on me. Also, they left my garage in horrible shape when they left. I was very dissatisfied. I left this review once already and never heard back. So why are you opening it up again? This is how they left my garage (see photo). Now I’m upset all over again”

“Had one small couch removed and it was ridiculously expensive, I had no other options so I had to pay it, but $250 for a small couch where the guys were in and out of my house in less than 3 minutes seems like robbery.”

“The price changed from $795 discussion to an $899 charge without our approval. Furniture was smashed into pieces in the basement of my home rather than carrying the furniture up the stairs. This was unnecessary and potentially destructive to my flooring. They loaded the truck in an illogical and haphazard way that wasted space in the truck.”

“Excellent service. Professional employees and very quick. However very misleading pricing. Felt we were taken advantage of. Quoted $179.95 for a 90” couch. Price was $319 when they got here. 179.95 was for a two-seater (loveseat). Be prepared. Another tell-the workers actually negotiated with us. Very disappointed.”

“I had my brand new tv and wall mount taken. Both were in boxes obviously brand new - stolen. I called the manager and he was of no help . I feel completely taken advantage of and would never recommend this company !!”

“This company’s conduct is absolutely disgraceful. Among the items they took without permission were precious photographs of my late daughter — part of a digital frame set that held deep sentimental value for my wife and me. They also took a sealed 24-case of beer and a brand-new epoxy kit for my garage. They claim they “do not take liquids or chemicals,” yet selectively chose to take these items and more, without asking or notifying me. When I contacted management, they admitted fault and promised to get back to me with reimbursement for their error. Since then, they have ignored my calls and messages entirely. I am not going away. I will ensure that this story reaches local television and spreads across social media — not only because of the items taken, but because of the deep disrespect shown to my family and to my daughter’s memory.”

“cash grab especially when dealing with seniors. I came out to see what was going on as my 65 year old mother was out there alone. $375? no thanks. The most unprofessional interaction I have ever had with an employee of a company. Was bold enough to say to me a 23 year old woman "you need Better parenting" then spun gravel as he drove the just junk truck down the alley. little does this man know I just lost my father 8 days ago. Words have value and meaning. I am shocked by this interaction and appalled by the embarrassment level of professionalism the employee displayed.”

“I was told that the cost of removal was based on $699.00 including 2 men to do the loading for a full truck load and half load would be half that. I book a time for them to come and was told they would be there between 3:30 and 5:30 pm. So they didn't show up until 6:15 and then asked for $900.00 for half a load. I hired a mover to load everything on my trailer the next day for $100 and took it to the dump myself and paid $64. What a rip off. False advertising and a waste of my time.”

“Just Junk Calgary website says they will take away sod. Just junk asked for pictures, which were provided. I placed the pile at the front sidewalk as they requested. When they arrived to take away the sod, I was told the owner says they do not do sod. Justin Junk is Just Terrible.”

In Calgary, our teams, as policy, avoid removing dirt and sod due to the city's heavy restrictions on disposing of the material, and this is communicated to customers in our online booking process. However, we do make efforts to help those who may have dirt and will provide an assessment for free. We appreciate that you sent photos through to our team, however, it is important to note that the weight of the dirt is what is most integral to understanding how much we can and cannot take. Unfortunately, in many cases, customers have more dirt than we can provide removal for. Regardless, we have forwarded your comments on to management for further review.

“Be cautious of this JustJunk Fraser Valley franchise and its representative Howard Leung, he is highly dishonest, unethical, and retaliatory if his quote is not approved to proceed. He manipulated the quote he sent me and insisted on charging a fee for their quoting services. Upon refusing to pay this unacceptable fee, he left a one-star negative review for my company. Given this unethical behavior, I gave him a 3-day deadline to remove the negative review, and I have spent hours preparing to file a legal claim. Although the one-star review was removed within the 3 days, this incident has left me very frustrated.”

“This is a franchised organization that has a lack of consistency of pricing and service. I have used the company on 2 separate occasions. They are expensive and appear no different than other JUNK SERVICE companies. . Their employees are paid minimum wage which is why the company puts onus on customers to tip their employees. I am glad they were able to take my junk but also glad that their employees left as soon as possible. Last experience was stressful involving haggling and negativity. I was told that I was being aggressive because I insisted that the bill be made out to my late mother's estate. I paid the bill so why take your frustrations out on me the customer because you are doing a job you do not like and getting paid minimum wage? No I did not tip this person. The bill was over $300 dollars!!! I will not be using this service again. I also do not like the fact that the company puts my email address on their mailing list without my permission.”
