cash grab especially when dealing with seniors. I came out to see what was going on as my 65 year old mother was out there alone. $375? no thanks. The most unprofessional interaction I have ever had with an employee of a company. Was bold enough to say to me a 23 year old woman "you need Better parenting" then spun gravel as he drove the just junk truck down the alley. little does this man know I just lost my father 8 days ago. Words have value and meaning. I am shocked by this interaction and appalled by the embarrassment level of professionalism the employee displayed.

I was told that the cost of removal was based on $699.00 including 2 men to do the loading for a full truck load and half load would be half that. I book a time for them to come and was told they would be there between 3:30 and 5:30 pm. So they didn't show up until 6:15 and then asked for $900.00 for half a load. I hired a mover to load everything on my trailer the next day for $100 and took it to the dump myself and paid $64. What a rip off. False advertising and a waste of my time.

Their estimator is totally out to lunch and absolutely over priced. I would never recommend this company to anyone, nor will I ever use them. Their name should be Just terrible, instead of Just Junk!

Just Junk Calgary website says they will take away sod. Just junk asked for pictures, which were provided. I placed the pile at the front sidewalk as they requested. When they arrived to take away the sod, I was told the owner says they do not do sod. Justin Junk is Just Terrible.

In Calgary, our teams, as policy, avoid removing dirt and sod due to the city's heavy restrictions on disposing of the material, and this is communicated to customers in our online booking process. However, we do make efforts to help those who may have dirt and will provide an assessment for free. We appreciate that you sent photos through to our team, however, it is important to note that the weight of the dirt is what is most integral to understanding how much we can and cannot take. Unfortunately, in many cases, customers have more dirt than we can provide removal for. Regardless, we have forwarded your comments on to management for further review.
Be cautious of this JustJunk Fraser Valley franchise and its representative Howard Leung, he is highly dishonest, unethical, and retaliatory if his quote is not approved to proceed. He manipulated the quote he sent me and insisted on charging a fee for their quoting services. Upon refusing to pay this unacceptable fee, he left a one-star negative review for my company. Given this unethical behavior, I gave him a 3-day deadline to remove the negative review, and I have spent hours preparing to file a legal claim. Although the one-star review was removed within the 3 days, this incident has left me very frustrated.

This is a franchised organization that has a lack of consistency of pricing and service. I have used the company on 2 separate occasions. They are expensive and appear no different than other JUNK SERVICE companies. . Their employees are paid minimum wage which is why the company puts onus on customers to tip their employees. I am glad they were able to take my junk but also glad that their employees left as soon as possible. Last experience was stressful involving haggling and negativity. I was told that I was being aggressive because I insisted that the bill be made out to my late mother's estate. I paid the bill so why take your frustrations out on me the customer because you are doing a job you do not like and getting paid minimum wage? No I did not tip this person. The bill was over $300 dollars!!! I will not be using this service again. I also do not like the fact that the company puts my email address on their mailing list without my permission.

When we called they confirmed they could provide demo and waste removal services - after a rep came to provide a quote we were told they no longer did demo services, but that if we did the demo we should give them a call and they could provide a good rate / relatively cheep to dispose of our home reno materials, especially if we brought the waste outside for pickup to avoid the costs of people carrying the waste outside. We did the demo ourselves and hauled the waste to our yard for pickup, but ended up being charged over $1,100 for one bathroom worth of tile and drywall plus some general home waste! Would have been much much cheaper just to have a bin dropped off. Will not be using again.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the poor, unethical service I received from Just Junk SURREY. My experience with their removal service was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. To begin with, the movers negligently struck our car (parked on the side) while attempting to maneuver their truck into the driveway. There was AMPLE of space for their truck to get into the driveway. This incident was not only an inconvenience but also caused damage to our vehicle. Shockingly, instead of taking immediate responsibility for their actions, the movers shamelessly claimed to have "forgotten" they were driving a truck to have caused the accident. That is your literal job. As if these actions weren't enough, when we confronted Just Junk about the situation, the Owner offered a solution that would have left us with a record on our insurance (ICBC), while allowing them to walk away from the incident unscathed. This approach not only demonstrates their lack of integrity but also shows a complete disregard for their customers' well-being and satisfaction. It is deeply disheartening to encounter a company that not only fails to take responsibility for their mistakes but also resorts to unethical means to resolve the issue in their favor. Their actions have left us feeling taken advantage of as customers. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others and that it prompts Just Junk to reevaluate their practices, take responsibility for their actions, and make amends for the damages they caused. We have reached out to their Customer Service and have been left hanging for weeks (they claim to have called us multiple times but we did not receive any calls AFTER the e-mail which we have expressed e-mail preferred due to inability to pick up the phone during work hours). We receive slow responses from the owner and they keep insisting on phone calls because they don't want to leave a record of requesting insurance fraud.

Their pricing is a scam. They invent it on the spot with no explanation and no justification. I had a nice tidy pile of 4x8 sheets of particleboard that was about 2 feet high. That's less than 4 yards. Somehow in their eyes it amounted to about 6 yards, and there was something called a bedload removal fee that applied to 1/6 of a load. There is nothing I can find on their website that explains what that $179 fee is for. I was also not told that I could have them just take the 4 yards of material that was built into their (not at all free in my area) estimate and not have to pay the extra charges. So my nice simple $259 pickup turned into almost double that at $503 plus tax, and I wasn't given any clear explanation, justification, or option. Don't trust them!

Sad to see a good business go south. Over the years I have relied on JustJunk in New Westminster. After the pandemic, our building with over 100 units started a renovation. When we were asked to clear our garden patios on the penthouse level - I called JustJunk. After their arrival I asked for a bid. Part of the way through the job they came back and asked for an $80 fee- on-top of the bid because of weight. I was surprised at this as the entire load was organic and free to residences inside the city of New Westminster. Regardless it was heavy so without concern I said I'd accommodate the fee. Also on the day of the visit they only came with a garbage bags (Husky) to carry out of a fourth floor condo tower. And we had to supply them with additional bags on-site as they "ran-low". The job was finished (or so I thought) for the day-- and the team went to leave, telling me they would meet me downstairs. Before paying I mentioned I had to vacuum the hall but the ground in dirt would need to be cleaned up. They also left two large planters and a pile of dirt and leaf clippings in a heap on a patio now covered in dirt, mud and broken pottery. Far from the condition when they arrived. I paid the bill with a promise that this same team would return for an additional bid of $620, they would bring the tools to clean our buildings hallways, and they would remove the planters they had left behind. Then the next day for the Friday appointment the team called and asked if they could move the appointment , I work from home thinking the same team would arrive and do the second phase of the job. No such luck. A new team arrived and re-bid the original "IN-HAND BID" and raised it on site by $400, and repeatedly interrupting and requiring hand-holding, mostly because they didn't get the job right the first time. I asked that they simply remove the planters they had promised to take, the large-bag of clippings and mud they left behind the day before and politely declined their bid. Then - one of the previous team-members came for a debate. So again -a simple job had turned into a nightmare of customer service hell. I again said "our lines are crossed here today - and we aren't in sync- I'm at work, I do not have the time to debate the bids any further". The next thing I know, they've cleaned the mud from the day before. Avoided any kind of a walkthrough of the damage that occurred in the hallway-- walked onto a video-conference and handed me my keys and left. Within an hour there was a letter with a revised bid. Asking that I please call back and they would like to correct things. I rescheduled for Saturday when I had time to assist them with their every request. Extremely high-maintenance teams. Finally, as if to rub some kind of salt-in-the-wound, I get a call an hour before their scheduled arrival and they backed out of their bid AGAIN. Seriously. This team when I remodeled in 2014 was might right hand. Today - we are asking them not to return to Westport to do business because of the repeated complications with the teams--let alone the damage and stains done to internal carpets, wall corners and the like.

The "professionals" who removed a couch from my home left a gash in the wooden floor right at the entrance to our living room when they dropped it and scrapped it across the floor. I have written to the company and left emails all of which came to nothing. Everything is great until you have damage and an issue with the incompetence.

1/10 Poor experience - ordered this for my parents so they could have peace of mind. When the Just Junk people arrived they only took 4 items and charged my mother $300. Poor service, and no communication. Revilo Place and no additional solution to the help or service we were looking for.

They charged my way too much , last time I used them I got a huge heavy 4 seater recliner couch removed with a coffee table and chairs and they charged me $105 which was excellent. This time I get an office chair, 2 tiny dining chairs and 2 light longchairs and it cost me 230$

Your quote estimate on your website didn't match to what was quoted on site at all, although comparable in size and material. It was like the employees who picked it up just selected a random number. In addition, they were very forceful in asking for a tip when the job was completed. Overall, a terrible experience and we will not use your service again.

We requested junk removal of the garages , pool shack and basement. They came with an almost full truck. They rebooked an appointment the following Tuesday and then canceled then to rebook the next day while telling us they won’t take anything else other than what’s in the garage. We cancel you company and went with 1800 junk which gave us a much superior customer experience.

I did a DETAILED walk-through with your just junk employees and asked if i could pay in advance since i needed to leave the site. I left the site and was in my truck out front on a call and 10 minutes later the 2 employees left the site. I inspected the site and found they did not execute the work as described.
