The movers made a huge, deep scratch in the hardwood floor at the top of the stairs into our living room, removing a couch. We purposefully hired and paid removers so damage would not happen. Also less than professional while in our home and no resolution to this matter ever offered.

Hi there. After looking into this with our management team, it looks like in February after your initial concerns our owner made several attempts to reach you regarding this with no response and no attempt to reach back. Regardless, your comments have been forwarded on for review.
Happened in North Vancouver, BC. The company came by on Monday to assess what was needing to be taken, quoted us for 3/8's of a truck (seemed small but we assumed they knew what they were doing). They were scheduled to come by from 2:30-4:30 the following day (Tuesday) so we took the day off work, losing wages, and they NEVER showed up. We called them that day, and they responded saying they "forgot" and would be there the next day (Wednesday) at the same time. I then called the next day at 7:30AM to double check if they were coming and had asked them to come after 4:30 if possible so we did not have to take another day off of work - they said "NO we cannot guarantee that". So, ok fine, left work early and lost some wages again... only for them to show up at 5:15. Taking time off work was NOT needed. Very very disappointed at this point. Now, once there, they assess what we have and say its not all going to fit. I look at their truck, and they come with a truck that is already half full! Like what?! I told them ok, fine, whatever, take what you can. They ended up taking hardly anything, including things that were initially assessed to be taken! Then at the end the worker tried asking me for MORE money because it had been more than expected. I refused to pay a single cent more. They were unreliable, and we had to lose our wages for the day which was over $350. AND they removed maybe 30% of the junk that was needed to be gone! Then, the one worker threw a box on top of the truck, it fell off, and there was broken glass all over my driveway... He "swept" it up very poorly and I had to clean it up myself. I had to call another junk company the next day, which ended up coming the next day and took all of our stuff that Just Junk refused to take. The other company was AMAZING. I will never use this company, Just Junk, again and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Not honest with pricing. Hauled a lot of it to my driveway, no savings. Called to speak with manager. Will never use this company again. At the end wanted hundreds of dollars more than was agreed upon . Truck was small. I found this to be misleading. I'm widowed, and I'm sure they would not treat a man they way they treated me I felt vulnerable and had no choice but to pay them. Need to clean out my shed. Will not be calling them.

An appointment was made to remove 10 furniture pieces from a Seniors Home 3 days before the event. Access was discussed as well as required masks. The home was not on lockdown and had no covid case. At 7.30pm the evening before they called to cancel unless I moved all the items outside. Really threw me under the bus...capped the call by "wishing me a nice day" was unbelieveable. The appointment was arranged and detailed in both email and direct conversations.

Our procedures and policies surrounding COVID are ever-evolving and put in place at the discretion of the upper and local management and unfortunately, they can change quickly as more information regarding the virus comes out. As always, we take these comments seriously and will consider them when updating any of our current COVID policies in the future.
This is in reference to Just Junk in North York, Ontario. I had them come and remove a deck in my backyard and told them I wanted to keep the lanterns that are on the posts. I found the glass to two of them broken at the end and they didn't mention anything to me. I saw them let the post fall to the ground and reminded them to be careful with the lanterns, I should have checked right away but thought they would say something if it was broken. They didn't. I had to find out myself after they left when I went to the back to check/clean up before letting the kids out. They also cut the electrical wire to my outdoor outlet which I noticed right away because my camera was disconnected. When I called about this issue (prior to paying), the franchise owner came right away and told me he will reimburse me to reconnect it. I was so impress with how responsive he was, little did I know, a month later, I'm still calling and waiting to get reimburse for this. Terrible. I would not go with Just Junk for any of my future junk removal.

I had everything organized for them, showed and told them what was to be taken but rather than putting the big stuff in the truck first but they grabbed the smaller items instead which were behind the futon. Then they literally broke the wooden futon frame to pieces. It was still decent enough to be donated. Once they were finished I checked the basement and noticed they took a table that they shouldn't have. Now I have to wait all day for them to unload the truck to determine if I will even get it back in one piece. Not impressed at all.

The price was at the high end of the estimate, but the real issue was the 12 inch gouge the "professionals" left in my hardwood floor when removing a piece of furniture. It is not a mere scratch. I decided to use "professionals" to avoid this kind of permanent damage to my living room floor. Would definitely not recommend!

totally unprofessional service; the guy called at 5:30pm desperate to reschedule my appointment from 8:30pm to 6:30. I agreed, and rushed home only to find out that nobody came; I called back, and he told me things have changed and he'll come as originally scheduled. No explanation; no apology. Clearly customers don't matter to this junk company.

I ordered their service for Friday 13th Sept. I indicated that I was clearing out a complete condo. Furniture, carpets, beds, crockery, utensils, etc. Whe Ryan arrived he looked at it and told me he couldn't do it because he was told that they were removing 2 beds and "a couple of cardboard boxes". They made a new appointment for today at between noon and 2 p.m. When they arrived they were not happy with the parking spot available saying that it was too far to carry things to the truck (one car length!!). Oddly enough the same parking spot was acceptable to the Friday crew??!! When Ryan left on Friday his one request was that we book the elevator, which we did. He had no issue with the parking spot. Now we have to go back tomorrow and try to get this done. I am not impressed with their operation. One star because there is no option for no stars! B.D.

I used your company for the first time in Mid August and the experience was great they quoted I agreed and the job was done I then called your company again for late August they quoted I agreed again but then the workers were rude to my customers told me about all the minimums and maximums they were going to do at one point I looked over and nothing was being put in the truck when I asked why again very rude and unprofessional I do this for a living now and would never use your company again sorry ! When I phoned later that day to voice my opinion the girl on the other end of the phone quite frankly could care less about my concerns that is terrible customer relations I now tell people about my experience and convince them never to use just junk have a nice day!

Told me the price to do it myself was much higher then actual. Told me dump charges were 4x more then what it actually is. My fault for not checking for myself and trusting what they said. Good “salespeople”

I got an estimate online which is why I booked just junk. When they arrived at my home the actual price was $300 MORE than the quote. I had to reduce what I needed removed as I only had a budget of max $200. I then had to move the rest of the furniture by myself. Estimates should be more accurate.

Was very disappointed in this service. Showed up 1.5 hrs late, with a quarter of the bin already filled. Then everything was an 'extra' charge, ie removing magazines, etc. They charged me over 1.5 times the full bin rate posted on the web site (despite arriving 1/4+ full) and leaving not quite full. Hired a handyman to take out a second equivalent load 2 days later at 1/4 the price!
