Rate is way too expensive for any removal service , almost as same as packers movers charge. Where others are Charging lower than you .

I was thoroughly disappointed with this job!! JustJunk was supposed to empty a shed and garage. Firstly, the job was nowhere near completed. Because of this, I couldn't put back items that were valuable so they had to be kept outside during the winter which has basically destroyed them. Secondly, the team left an unbelievable trail of garbage on my back lawn which I had to clean up myself. I would never recommend them because I was so overcharged with no value.

Their online estimator is flawed as is actually uses a big (20'-24') truck. But their actual truck that arrived was an open air 10 foot truck, which they claimed was 8 feet wide, but at 8 feet it would not drive easily on city roads as it would need a w-i-d-e load license. Being open air, which means no top and the sides weren't even more than 3.5' tall. So I don't know why their description claims 10' x 8' x6'. My own junk was just 8 average sized garbage bags that weren't even more than 15lb per bag and 8x76L Rubbermaid totes. Using their online estimator I thought I was being generous by estimating 1/6 load. But to my surprise, they claimed it was half a truck, AFTER they loaded their truck. To unload, they wanted to charge me double their ridiculous price. I should have went with the moving company who by their own word and online description will actually bring a 20' truck and not that tiny flatbed they claimed was all they were allowed under COVID rules.

Though the length and actual size of their truck is listed in their description, the online estimator uses a full 20-24' truck. So simply sliding their slider to what I thought was generous ended up being more than double of that because of their actual truck size. I had 8 garbage bags and 6x76L Rubbermaid totes. Using their online estimator even 1/6 was being generous. But the crew that arrived did not give me an estimate BEFORE they began so I assumed that the price I got from the online estimator was relative. It wasn't. After the job, they informed me my 8+6 load was half their truck!! And to unload would cost double that. Scam artist!!! Holding us ransom...

Had everything pulled and ready for them. 600.00 to fill the truck and they only took the big items which included 2 couches, 3 chairs and a love seat. To get to the big stuff they had to move smaller. They just grabbed it and tossed it making a bigger mess then when they came. Never again nor will I recommend

I have made 3 call asking for an explanation as to why the truck was a no show. Since it is a franchise operation Head Office says only that they are aware of the complaint and I will be contacted by the Franchise Owner. When I called today I was told I did not have an appointment yet I received a call last week asking if I wanted to change my Monday appointment to last Friday which I turned down. It would have needed two full loads to look after my need but obviously this franchissee doesnt need the business. I find it amazing that a small business treat customers so poorly during these uncertain times when one would expect they would want all the business they could get. Am now forced to hunt for another company who will honour their committments.

Had a huge amount of stuff to move from an apartment, alot of things to throw out- and it included a twin mattress and boxspring. Without much effort- they deemed a mattress had bedbugs- which none have NEVER been in my apartment- and they refused to take the WHOLE load, not just the Mattresses. They refused everything and we went to 1-800 Got Junk. Never recommending. The other company took everything- and noted there was no bugs. Disappointed Deeply.

Booked Just Junk for a small load that would have fit in my son's truck no problem except for two garden ties. Booked JJ and they arrived an hour early and with no notice. Fortunately we were able to accommodate this. It took them less than 3 minutes to load the items that were organized and at the garage entrance. They charged $330.00, they said this was with a discount, but left the garden ties. I phoned them back and said please come get these items. They did not. I phoned several times and left a message asking for a follow up, as they do not answer there phones it is voice mail only, they did not respond. I emailed several times and asked that they come and get these, again not response. For my son's house I rented a very large bin for the weekend from Johnson Disposal & Delivery, a great Kingston business and filled it completely, total cost was $213.00. The owner also took the time to call and see that I was happy with everything, now that is service and at a reasonable price. Completely disappointed and would not reccomend this company ever!!!!

We had two trucks show up to our home that we were downsizing. Pieces were pre-arranged and stickers put on to be donated to a thrift store and other bags of garbage, stone, pallet wood etc were to be junked. I only saw what happened downstairs as my husband was upstairs. Right in front of me they took our chesterfield of 44 years and decided it wasn't going to go up the stairs without even trying as it came down not problem, The one guy said I know how this will go up and removed the cushions and with his foot smashed the back of the chesterfield in two pieces, then said now it will go up. Next there was a solid round table with a metal base that was clearly posted to donate. He picked it up and turned it over and I thought he was going to get a screwdriver out of his pocket and take the base off to get it up the stairs easier, no that was not his plan he took his foot and hit the base until it buckled enough that it could be broken in two. My husband said that a futon that was upstairs went out in a couple of pieces also. A sewing machine in a cabinet that was still valuable and was also going to be donated didn't make it to the thrift store either. No respect was shown to our possessions or to us as we watched it be destroyed. How would they feel if someone came into their home and did this to their things. I read the positive kind comments above but didn't see any of that at our home. Then a comment was made they did it all in record time 30 minutes. I would never recommend this company to handle my junk or donations. It is hard enough to make a move without having your possessions destroyed right in front of you. I only gave 1 star because I appreciate them removing the stones, pallet and bags of garbage

I had two truckloads removed from my mothers house. Paid and gave guys a Hugely generous tip given COVID etc. After they left It was apparent that of the guys ripped off an iMac laptop. I do not make Accusations lightly. It was obvious. Never let these guys in your house. They can not be trusted.

Booked five days in advance for a Saturday 1-3 time slot. Having recently moved, we had to return to our previous home to wait. At 4:30, we were told they couldn't come because the truck was full of stuff from the booking before us. So we wasted nearly four hours of our time. We didn't even know that getting "bumped" was a possibility. They couldn't have estimated at the beginning of the previous customer's removal that their junk was going to fill up the truck and split their disposal time (and need for truck space) with another time slot instead of completely bumping us? Also, we gave an itinerary of what we had--didn't they? And, no, they didn't offer to unload the truck and come back to accommodate us that day. We were told they could "fit us in" Monday between 2-4. Not "We will get to you first thing tomorrow," or "Monday, first thing." Another late afternoon pickup that could also possibly be bumped and a day we would have to take time off work. There was a reason we booked for Saturday. We only had access to that house until Tuesday, and we couldn't risk another cancellation and more apologies. We went and booked a competitor who accommodated us first thing Monday morning and showed up on time, were done in twenty min, and we didn't have to take time off work to wait. This was a very disappointing venture with your company, and we won't (attempt to) use your services again.

We booked a 2 hour window for them to pick up stuff. 2:30-4:30. Waited around then at around 4 they called to say they were running late and wouldn't get there till 5-5:30. Frustrating but ok things happen. Then at 5:20 I called... No answer. Called me back. We are still really backed up won't be there till at least 6-6:30.... Ok I was supposed to be at a dinner at 6. The guys only response was it's either that or you will have to book another time. Told him to forget it. I called another company the next day. They were busy but squished me in and was done a few hours after calling. I totally understand things take longer then expected but really that is why you are given a two hour window. Maybe if the guy on the phone(sorry forget his name) could of been able to give me a time the next day or something more then just wait we will get there when we get there attitude. His only solution was for me to go back online and book a new time slot. That would of been two days from then because by this time they are closed for next day booking. Just was not happy with the attitude.

I will or recommend your service. We had a king size mattress, box spring and the metal rails to dispose of. The person who came quoted me $519 plus taxes. I repeated the price and he said yes. We eventually settled on a lower price after he called his boss. According to the pricing examples provided on your website $579 should have covered the mattress, box spring, a couch, a dryer, a TV, A recliner chair, 5 pieces of furniture and a few large bags. Very misleading and deceiving service.

If I could give a zero then I certainly would.Read on.They were on time! Gave me a 4pm to 6 pm & got to me right at 4pm!? In hindsight i now know why! Most likely not too busy due to the insane pricing! I met Christian who took a look at the small pile of broken concrete ( 4ftx7ftx4 ins deep) broken up Into very small pieces and just blurted out $639.I was in shocked... & he guess he saw the reaction on my face and said “it’s a full load sir”.Note: I volunteered to assist in the loading but he did not budge. His ‘buddy’ met up with us a few seconds later and just declared “I told you so”.???? Huh? What was that about?At this point I could not care Less because I knew then this ‘just junk’ is just that ‘just junk’RE: ridiculous pricing!! They suck!

The movers made a huge, deep scratch in the hardwood floor at the top of the stairs into our living room, removing a couch. We purposefully hired and paid removers so damage would not happen. Also less than professional while in our home and no resolution to this matter ever offered.

Hi there. After looking into this with our management team, it looks like in February after your initial concerns our owner made several attempts to reach you regarding this with no response and no attempt to reach back. Regardless, your comments have been forwarded on for review.
Happened in North Vancouver, BC. The company came by on Monday to assess what was needing to be taken, quoted us for 3/8's of a truck (seemed small but we assumed they knew what they were doing). They were scheduled to come by from 2:30-4:30 the following day (Tuesday) so we took the day off work, losing wages, and they NEVER showed up. We called them that day, and they responded saying they "forgot" and would be there the next day (Wednesday) at the same time. I then called the next day at 7:30AM to double check if they were coming and had asked them to come after 4:30 if possible so we did not have to take another day off of work - they said "NO we cannot guarantee that". So, ok fine, left work early and lost some wages again... only for them to show up at 5:15. Taking time off work was NOT needed. Very very disappointed at this point. Now, once there, they assess what we have and say its not all going to fit. I look at their truck, and they come with a truck that is already half full! Like what?! I told them ok, fine, whatever, take what you can. They ended up taking hardly anything, including things that were initially assessed to be taken! Then at the end the worker tried asking me for MORE money because it had been more than expected. I refused to pay a single cent more. They were unreliable, and we had to lose our wages for the day which was over $350. AND they removed maybe 30% of the junk that was needed to be gone! Then, the one worker threw a box on top of the truck, it fell off, and there was broken glass all over my driveway... He "swept" it up very poorly and I had to clean it up myself. I had to call another junk company the next day, which ended up coming the next day and took all of our stuff that Just Junk refused to take. The other company was AMAZING. I will never use this company, Just Junk, again and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Not honest with pricing. Hauled a lot of it to my driveway, no savings. Called to speak with manager. Will never use this company again. At the end wanted hundreds of dollars more than was agreed upon . Truck was small. I found this to be misleading. I'm widowed, and I'm sure they would not treat a man they way they treated me I felt vulnerable and had no choice but to pay them. Need to clean out my shed. Will not be calling them.
