“It took nearly two weeks for my goods to be delivered. When I rang customer service to enquire about the delivery, they took my number and said someone would return my call. I received no call.”

“Online order took nearly 3weeks to be delivered, in store customer service staff unfriendly and was a huge inconvenience when I asked if gifts could be wrapped after spending over 200€ between in store and online”

“Hello. It was very easy to order online from Canada. Shipping was quite quick too considering it was the Christmas season. However, although the package was marked "GLASS" , 3 of my crystal glasses arrived smashed and one of my teacups had the handle broken off. I am awaiting my replacements now. I must say the customer service was very responsive and I appreciate that they will make this right. Perhaps better packaging for overseas shipping is in order.”

“I didn’t get the candles I ordered thou got the bigger ones, I wanted the smaller for 3 to fit into a candle holder. Used 4 of them as gifts in the end”

“I ordered a large online order and it took over two weeks to arrive - the slowest online order I did ahead of Christmas by far. It is just too long and I would not risk it again. I ordered a gold bracelet which was tiny, more like a childs but this was unclear in the description. There was no receipt in the box with the items but they took the online order as a receipt (this had to be approved by a manager).”

“I was very happy with Kilkenny and products purchased. However, i had problems with your courier! So much so that I will not order on-line from you again. They did not meet any of my delivery requests and did not acknowledge or reply to my emails.”

“My experience was v good although some of the items purchased were not exactly as expected.. eg..scarf I purchased Powder brand was to come with lovely Powder packaging however it could not fit into the bag I received with it. However customer service was excellent as I called enquiring re when I might receive items as I needed to post onwards and the person I dealt with was extremely professional and helpful.”

“Ordered 5 sets of crystal glasses, which were packed poorly. Glasses were broken in two sets. Emailed asking for replacements. Finally got a response asking to send photos. Once received, was told they would send it after Christmas. I get it, but not ideal for a Christas gift. Haven't received a further notification. I'm sure everything will be fine, just the difference between dealing with a company in the US vs across the ocean. That said their crystal is beautiful and an excellent value for the price I paid.”

“I bought a coat from this shop. It said on the main page shipping to the UK was free but didn’t mention the duty to pay, this was in the small print and cost over £50.00 not very clear, I will not be ordering anything from this shop or Republic of Ireland again.”

Hi there, I am sorry to hear that customs placed charges on your parcel. Parcels leaving the EU can be charged by customs, this is a government regulation that was introduced after Brexit.
