“I ordered almost 300.00 euros worth of Xmas decorations pre Xmas and according to your promotion they would be delivered before Xmas. I did order in plenty of time.... Well they were delivered but not on the date the courier advised....I phoned customer service and they couldn't or wouldnt tell me where they were. They told me to phone the courier and they couldn't tell me either. It was Xmas eve when I got them. The courier tossed them over the electric gate even though the boxes were marked fragile. Not a nice experience. I don't think I'll be doing an online purchase with Kilkenny Design anytime soon.”

“The Barbour jacket I purchased is fabulous. However, better information & visibility about international shipping would be helpful. It seemed like the package moved slowly in Ireland & the UK for several days before being put on an airplane to the US but I had to keep checking on this myself. I have had better international shipping experiences with other Irish retailers.”

“Item purchased was fine tho packaging slightly damaged. I was advised when ordering online on 12 December that delivery would take 5 to 7 days. I thought that with weekend deliveries and coming from within Ireland I would have received my order sooner than 22 December.”

“I ordered a crystal shamrock Christmas ornament. Order was delivered promptly however missing a small component which was a small tag with the year stamp. Customer care tried their best to locate the missing component and even sent out a replacement, which was also missing the year tag. I collect these each year so I love to get the year tag. Customer care were very helpful and very prompt in their responses. Unfortunately their stock of the ornament had no year tag. Overall disappointed but I would continue to order from Kilkenny in future as this was outside their control.”

“Poor service . Item never delivered for christmas gift. I had to contact kilkenny shop and apparently item out of stock but I was still charged for it and never notified it was out of stock. I don't know when I was going to be refunded if I didn't make contact. Very poor communication . I will not be purchasing from Kilkenny shop website again.”

“I have been purchasing from Kilkenny for many years, both on line and in store and have been happy with your service. I like to buy Irish where possible and would lean towards an Irish store. In recent weeks whilst purchasing in Nassau St. branch, I have been refused a paper bag for my shopping unless I paid for same. On one such occasion I had spent over 500 euro on Christmas shopping. I really did feel like returning the lot. I am most disappointed with this new policy. Kilkenny is not a grocery store, I do not plan to carry bags to town because I may perchance purchase an item in Kilkenny store. I find this new policy most off putting, yesterday I paid for your small red paper bag advertising your sale as I walked around town. I strongly suggest you review your policy and provide your customers with a paper bag free of charge.”
