“Both items I bought were for a gift and my neighbour loved the, so much. The items were very securely wrapped which was essential as they were being posted to England. All items arrived in time and intact. No breakages.”

“Kilkenny shop was very quick to deliver and items were well wrapped. Great selection of products and gifts to choose from. Nicholas Mosse pottery is my favourite. Excellent quality and nice to get a €15 voucher off my purchase.”

“The quality control needs a lot of improvement, 1 out 2 pictures arrived with a damage frame, was told to return to exchange, but because we live in the UK, more hassle than it's worth, I have to pay for the return postage and claim it back, don't think so. The pictures should have arrived in perfect condition, if they had been damaged in transit different story, but this has been sent out damaged, not acceptable.”

“Item ordered was not in the package and when told I would receive a replacement the item was then not available. Poor customer service and inter personal skills when dealing with this, I wanted to support a local business when buying my partner's gift and this is a prime example of not taking care of a new customer.”

“Disgraceful packaging and lack of… Disgraceful packaging and lack of respect for their luxury items. And shockingly rude customer service. Completely ignored until i posted a bad review. Several calls and emails ignored! I spoke with someone called conor before ordering a beautiful piece of genisis and a cashmere blanket who assured me it would be packaged so well i could have it sent direct to the bride and groom recipients! Flimsy damp box genisis broken and cashmere throw thrown in at the bottom of the box squashed up creased and full of pieces of cardboard. It had Zero protection no bag no care bag at all. They have now said in a reply this is normal they do not put any throws in bags or any care bag etc!!! Ridiculous!! The other business have sent me the blanket And assured me it will areive in a care bag. They were not surprised when i told them about the kilkenny shop. Rude emails very unhelpful. I have had to reorder the blanket / throw through another much more professional business in ireland do not buy from kilkenny shop. Imagine if i had it sent to the recipients direct! The throw now looks old after removing the cardboard pieces. I have videos and photos of the box being opened on arrival and have sent to them numerous times. They eventually resent the genisis which has not yet arrived!!”

“I recently purchased the smaller Orla Kiely iPad sleeve for my Apple iPad. Since I also have a magic keyboard to contend with, it's a snug fit, but it works. It's a very classy item, protects well, and I am most pleased with my purchase and the speed of shipment from Kilkenny! These folks know how to do it right!”

“I purchased an item of jewellery as a gift for an employee. It could have been packaged better in my opinion and the expensive item was in a cheap little plastic bag. The box was ok and it did come with a little paper bag but in my view it could have been presented better.”
